Dear Newspaper,
I have header ads problem using newspaper theme. Previously, i uses google adsense script as the advertising on the header. Now, i like to change with non google adsense advertising. I already changes through the newspaper theme panel on WordPress admin page. If i uses Windows OS PC, its look fine. My new advertising is show up in the home page. But, if i uses other OS like Linux or MacOS, the header ads still shows google advertising. Not the new one. It also happening if i use mobile device. I’ve setup a smartlist using SmartList Style 1. I’ve selected H6 tag to identify and render smart lists.
I’m wanting to have the smart list run in the middle of my post (I have 2 opening paragraphs, my smartlist, then 2 closing paragraphs). What’s happening is that these 2 closing paragraphs are being added to the 5th slide inside my smartlist.
I have this post scheduled to launch live tomorrow.
Here’s the code I’m using:

I’ve checked documentation and I can’t find anything regarding this.

I already create my google adsense account and create new units.
Also copy the code and paste to the head ad Header ad section.
After 1 week,the ad still not appear.
The other ads also not appear like sidebar ads and in article ads.
Please help me to figure out the issue.

If you want to add more ads, it is necessary to create another custom ad (custom ad 6, custom ad 7, etc). Please follow the steps in the topic to create another custom ad: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/create-additional-custom-ads/

Yes @schindyguy, the link you posted is correct and the one you should follow.
Basically, as some other user have reported, the theme handles perfectly AdSense banners with responsive layouts as you can specify the size of the ad units for the different devices in the admin panel.
The same thing does not happen with DFP code. Therefore, if you want to have responsive/smart DFP banners in your site, you do not have to work with the admin panel settings but you need to hard code the instructions directly in the header of your website.

But there is only ONE place to paste in code for inline ad in the theme settings….

we have ads 728 x 90 we put it in the google code in “Custom ad 5” in Newspaper Theme panel then we added “ad box” in visual composer for the home page, but we still get another size ad
one of 300 x 250??
In the bottom near the footer we have a “Text Block” in visual composer with the google code and the them does not display nothing??

Following the guides and forum I reached using Comet Cache, tagDiv Speed Booster, etc.
all nice, added in tagDiv Speed Booster the codes, removing statistic plugin by histats (js hosted at them), no ads.
but since I want to add some ads, and back my statistic plugin or other I need to get those 5% I miss:
Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content : style.css
– if I add
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('td-theme');
then is showing in pagespeed/insights back (reverts) all the changes I made… so, not good.
– if I add ‘td-theme’ line above and remove any other block that contains ‘td-theme’ in Speed Booster it crashes.
– There is a way to fix style.css render-blocking?
i ask, since i followed all the other codes, used them, it works, but not for style.css …
– other note: adding (‘js_composer_front’) breaked my homepage, any page I do with composer is showing a vertical line on the left side of the theme. so I now use only latest posts as homepage, to look fine.
– on mobile I have 84 / 100 just because of the same error, style.css in the screen above.
using wp 4.4.2 and v2.3.5.
I am having some trouble with the category posts in a theme. I am using Block 9 and would like to sort the posts based off the different interests.
The first problem I am having is that if I tag a post with mulitple interests it only shows up in one of the category blocks. I would need them to show up in muliptles.
Also the other problem is that sometimes even when only one is tagged, it does not show up either.
I have attached screen shots on the page, and the set up in the back-end. The site is still password protected.

I also have increased memory limit to 64 MB. But the same error exist. Here is a picture Story of my Problem..
1- When I upload an Image:
2- When I search the same image which uploaded with Error message.
3- Error Image Exists and allows to insert and edit
4- The image workis good inside the post.
5- When I set this iamge as a feature image it also Works.
6- But on The home Page it does not Working till last Update of theme (Yesterday).
7- The Same Image is working Properly in Revolution Slider. But other parts of the Home Page these images are not Working.

Unfortunately things are not as simple as it looks like. These types of smartlists, even though it seems they are on the same page and could be like a simple post, they are not. Every section of the smartlist is separated from the other. If you place an ad inside the php file by hard-coding, this will be the result: http://screencast.com/t/hKvYLgjo – it will place the ad after each title of the smartlist. This is the way smartlists work. It’s the same if you use a sliding smartlist. ALternatively you can have a single ad on top of the smartlist: http://screencast.com/t/8NU01k2h but there is no way of adding it like an article inline ad after a set paragraph.
Depending on the position you place the shortcode inside the file, here is the code for the first implementation with multiple ads: http://screencast.com/t/pa6xuzfoaMN by using this code:

Hello – I am having an issue where I cannot save my theme options when configuring. SOME will take, but others, like the global sidebar position will not change back to right positions, after switching to left. I can not delete/remove ads once added. I have tried multiple browsers, tried clearing my cache, disabled my w3 total cache plugin, I am at a loss.
I have had my support team check my vars to be sure I am in the clear as well.

I wanted to find out if it was possible to import an entire mobile menu from another theme into Newsmag?
Will this affect the rest of theme quite a lot i.e. break it?
If not, a suggestion for the next update could definitely be to make the mobile menu more animated. At the moment, when you click it, it just pushes the content and loads. Perhaps it would be nice if there was an animation as it opened as more of a slide effect.

I have been using static 728×15 link blocks in the footers of two of my Newspaper sites. However, for no apparent reason they will only show replacement ads on about 1 – 2% of my pages.
Google AdSense support has, therefore, recommended me to use responsive link blocks instead. However, I cannot make those work.
If I use the responsive link block with the setting “Auto” for desktop (in the Ads section of the Theme Panel), the theme will show leaderboards instead (728×90), causing layout problems and – on several pages – violating AdSense rule of max. 3 ads per page. If I choose “728×15” setting for desktop, no ads are shown.
Is there any other way of implementing a responsive link block in the footer?

I want to use Media.net ads alongside Adsense ads. I can implement them without any problem using the Advanced Ads PlugIn, however when I use Media.Net ad-code, the Smart Sidebar and the Sticky Menu features stop to work.
Any idea how this can be prevented? The problem is definitely with non-adsense code and not the plugin or other settings.

My question is when I view the site in theme panel it all looks fine and dandy. but when I view live it is displaying chinese symbols where the social icons should be in the top menu and just squares next to each other menu item.
Any ideas how to resolve?

Any news yet on an update that will bring the theme in line with Woocommerce 2.5 it’s been out for months and there hasn’t been a theme update for 3 months. it worries me that I have another instance of the theme out there with a store and products and there’s no update for that??????
I’ve got 4 sites running this theme, the lack of a proper updates is getting a bit worrying
I don’t know if anyone else has had problems with the last version of VC that was bundled with the previous update. I have got problems with the masonry gallery dissappearing after a time. Also Have problems duplicating pages in VC back end, they come out all over the place once you’ve duplicated them with all the content boxes overlapping. My header ads also broke at the last update which I’ve only just noticed and am currently trying to sort out in another thread.
Unfortunately this theme seems to be going a bit shonky on the 4 installations I’ve used it on, I’ve taken 2 of them down cos they keep falling apart and I’m not confident in them. I’ve even gone as far as buying a instance of the newspaper theme due to the lack of confidence in this theme. maybe I should start looking for alternative themes? I don’t know, it’s a worry though
Is the latest update just to cover the guys who have updated to WP 4.5, looks like it from the change log, was hoping for more, guess I’ll have to be patient.
