Hi Guys
I have a separate ECom store (currently woo but will be moving to Shopify) and I want to create some product banners for my store and then have these appear within my blog posts as clickable banner ads. Essentially my blog users will see my ads within my blog posts.
I am using the mobile theme so I’d like to have them appear in the same advert slot as desktop (probably either 3-4 paragraphs down a post or at the end of a post).
Is there a way I can do this if I were to create a set of different banner ads for my store?
I am not bothered about using the ads slots to do this (if there is a better way) but I will not be using AdSense on my blog so I thought I might be able to use that functionality for my own ads?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I’m keen to start promoting my own products across my blog posts.

Yes, as you said, I was using the ad plugin, when I closed it, the problem was fixed. But now another problem has arisen. They added a hacklink to the “ADS” part of the theme. How is this possible? I do not use any plugins other than theme plugins.

I have seen this come up a few times but everytime I upload an image through mobile, the image is sideways. I have tried deactivating every plugin (including the core theme plugins).
I have tried the fix image rotation plugin but still no luck.
I hope someone can help. I upload via the “cooked pro” plugin as my site is recipe themed. (the upload was fine with other themes by the way)

I find that sometimes it looks like the footer starts to load — I see it start to load but then I see the square tagdiv loading symbol and it loads another post, then I can just scroll through from post to post.
I’m using the cloud templates for footer and post body. However, I recently changed to a new footer, but saw this behavior before.
Then, the same thing just happened but the footer loaded twice instead of not at all.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
I see the html code needed for a non-adsense ad (https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/). The image appears, but there is no code to link the ad to another website. Could you tell me how to add the href to these codes?
I would like to separate featured images used as article grid backgrounds (image 1) and the image that is shown on the top of an article when it is clicked into (image 2). This is because my latter’s image contains text (such as an image with the article title) and will make for a poor background when overlayed with other text, in the former use case.

To do that, I plan to manually insert image 2 into the top of the article’s text (just simple copy paste..?). Then set image 1 as the featured image of the article. But I don’t want the article showing two images at the top (image 1 followed by 2). Is there any way for me to hide Image 1 for that article? So that it only shows Image 2 (image with title) at the top of the article?

Hi all, I just created a banner ad for a company on my website. The firm only sent me an image, so I have to great a post in order to get a code for the banner.
My problem is that the banner ad IS there now but it is very blurry and small and I can’t seem how to make it clear or larger.
I also had Google Ads running on other spots on the site, but the Header Ad spot is for this private ad.
If you click the link below you will see the ad is the one at the top of my site. It’s blue and reads ‘seven strategies…’ etc.
I have created a new post template for the opinion category, because I need this one, unlike the others, to show the author’s box in the post. I have the menu and the photo of post copied but I miss the part of the text, title, sidebar and everything that goes under this (related news, etc) except the footer that I already have it. Do you know how I can copy all this, to transfer it with the same format to the template I designed for the category of opinions.
The problem is that if I do it item by item, which is how I’ve done it so far, the margins are not respected and it comes out different. Look at those screeshots!
I would like the format to be in both cases like the one of the photos that there have green indications. Once i have that i will add the “author box” and because it will not be connected to all categories it will only be displayed in the opinion category.
How can we do that?

Please see what I see, There is no other space that I can drop the empty row/column.
After trying other functions.php code to try and get it to work, I found a simple workaround solution.
Instead of linking to the custom post type category pages in the mobile menu, I simply linked to its default archive URL.

While this doesn’t completely solve the issue, it’s still much better than nothing.
If by the responsive version you mean AMP, I just don’t use it because of its limitations. While I’m able to use a custom blacklist sanitizer override plugin to allow things otherwise not allowed in AMP, it still restricts me from using rotating ads in AMP, such as our shop ad that shows a new ad image every 6 seconds.

Please notice that I have 2 problems with the link from header only in the post themplate that are using the default design. The one that are using the clud library themplate are ok. How can I resolve that.

You can still create sidebars from Theme Panel and you can assign them to pages/categories/posts.

Thank you for looking after it. Please ensure, that you tried with firefox. Other browsers seem to work, but that doesn’t help me since Firefox is very popular in Germany.
I now have tried Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0, Safari (iOS and PadOS) without problems, but in Mozilla Firefox, even in safe mode and deactivated plugins, the problem resists. All WordPress Plugins are latest versions.
To help you understand the problem, compare these two images:

Text on sidebar block headings is not consistent and I’m having trouble adjusting it.
I have run out of options for adjusting the text on sidebar headings other than using CSS code (I am not good at it) but I am having trouble getting the code right.
Installed Newspaper 9 with the Default Demo initially (2 years ago) but upgraded and converted and no longer using the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.

I want them both centered with the font size of the larger one (19px). I followed the instructions for using the browser’s Inspector here and could only come up with the following code but it does not work.

I am using newspaper 9.8, in Newspaper Theme panel options i am not able to click on left side tabs, first when we land on theme panel, header is by default selected but when we click other options like FOOTER, ADS they are not clickable in my admin panel, please help me on this

You can achieve similar websites, maybe not using only the theme, but using the theme with other ads plugins.
Normal on a PRO Demo (Pre-build Website) you can use tagDiv Composer and set the ads using the ad box element. I have version 9.1 of Newspaper Template installed on my wordpress. Some time ago I set up a banner using Theme Panel / Ads / Header ads. Today I tried to edit the banner code but the panel does not display the options of any position. I just make click but nothing displays. It does work in other options, but not in the Ads feature.
I have disabled all plugins except for tagDiv, but it doesn’t work.
I have disabled the child theme and cache plugin, and it doesn’t work either.
I have used the Mozila Firefox console and this is the error that indicates:

After installing NewsMag theme I had button “Tag Div Composer” in Pages but now
button dissapear from WordPress admin
Now I have this button only in top menu while browsing main page
as at screenshot 1
But while browsing another posts a haven’t such button
and at the list of posts too
Shortly I have button ” Edit with TD Composer” only for Pages, not for Posts

Unfortunately, if you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not change the design of itself.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to change the design of the mobile version, then you can create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer plugin. Otherwise, you can let the mobile version responsive, and the design will be the same like in desktop version.
