I purchased the theme recently.
I created couple of pages but the content is not visible on a mobile. I tried to view the sample-page created by the theme but the problem is still the same. Only the page title appears. I tried changing the page template and whatever else is possible but it was of no use. Am I missing something?
Would appreciate inputs on this issue?

for a while I set default footer.
When i hit edit with tagdiv composer on the homepage, it just loads forever.

I have been purchasing Newspaper for about two weeks and I am experimenting with the theme on a test blog and then posting the theme in my film magazine. Day after day I have learned something but now I am stopped. I no longer have the header in single posts and if I try to insert it it is aligned all the way to the right destroying the template. I can’t find a solution to put the same header I have on the home page.

I am testing the mobile page creator. Specifically, I’m creating a template for the posts (single), for mobile version.
This template is very simple, to try to get the best results possible (to make it a quick load).
This is the composition for mobile (post) pages:
– Single Post Featured Image
– Page Title
– Single Post Content
– Single Post Share
– Breadcrumbs
It is a very simple basic configuration. I have activated this template for the category posts. You can see it in the image.

It is a test page, totally clean. It only has the theme and the theme plugins installed. In addition, WP super Cache is installed, following the recommendations.
It is a very simple and straightforward page, but it is slow.

Then…. What is the point of creating my own mobile pages, if they are slow? This doesn’t make sense, I don’t understand it.
We all know that Google increasingly values web loading speed. But with every Newspaper update, the speed gets worse.
Am I doing something wrong?
Should I consider looking for another theme faster?
Hi, I have a question about attachment page, please tell me what I’m doing wrong. What I understand is that when an image is uploaded via media library, an attachment page for the image is suppose to be created. But when I click “View attachment page” in “Attachment details” (Media library) it takes me to home page, the same happen when I put the same images in gallery like here: https://zoonki.com/test-gallery-002/ (images are linked to attachment page in settings). What I’m doing wrong? What I’m trying to achieve is when I click a thumbnail, I would like to open image in a separate page with more information about the image. (I have set an attachment template in template settings, but it didn’t help.)

My ad network requires me to insert scripts to the header, but the header scripts are different for each post template. We can’t load both scripts from the theme panel, because that will conflict with their ad servers. We use 2 tagdiv composer post templates and I noticed they both have some kind of template id in the body class, for example: tdb_template_17454. Is it possible to get the template id with the function get_page_template()? If this would work, the next question would be to what header.php file I should add the function? As mentioned we use the tagdiv composer so the header.php file in the theme folder doens’t work.

Hi, footer are the only templates that cannot be edited using tagDiv for some reason, when I see any imported footer template or even a blank one, the option “edit with tagDiv composer” doesn’t show up.
The only way that works for me is importing a new footer template via Cloud Templates and edit before posting, after that there is no option to edit the footer again using tagDiv composer.
If I edit the footer using the “Home” page with tagDiv, some changes do not apply like changing the logo for another one.
And, there is no other options for footer on “Theme Panel”, just choosing template and nothing more.

I think that you are referring to infinite loading, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and disable the infinite loading.

I came upon a error in rendering, it breaks my footer columns on single post view.
I use a standard post template that came with the theme.
Rendering the footer on Pages is ok.
ALso I have one error when I switch between WP Bakery edit and the tagdiv editor. sometimes it wont save, thats only one particular page, or sometimes tagdiv removes my content I added i the bakery. Caching is off.

When you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 13(models) : 9(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.

Hi,
I created a top menu bar, generated through a shortcode which works perfectly fine in mobile.
When I create a new mobile page for the homepage it happens that:
You can see it in the tag divi composer like here, and also in the browser like here
BUT if I connect to the website through my android device it is not visible anymore in the homepage like you can see here
I tried to clean cache in the cellphone but still same problem, and If I switch to “No mobile page” it’s visible again.
Any clue about what’s going on?

I am using the NewsPaper X since few months. I have lots of questions. Here are two of them.
1. The Social Counter widget is not working properly. Links are working, but it does not show the count of Instagram & Youtube. How to fix that?
2. I designed a HomePage. ( I think this is the hardest Theme to customize. Everything is too much advanced. 🙂 ) Then in the footer section, it shows ” © Newspaper WordPress Theme by TagDiv ” instead of showing my own details. I can’t find how to edit that. In the Theme Panel, there is no any option to edit that. It can edit if I select ‘No Template’ under Footer tab in theme panel. Then the footer changes. It is so complicated. I tried in Theme Editor to replace that phrase. But it didn’t work. Please help me to solve this.

I think what may be happening is that the responsive page has a mobile menu as well as the mobile page has a mobile menu. If you don’t have a mobile version of every template on the site then the mobile menu from the responsive page shows up.
I think you need to set the mobile menu in both places just incase.
I’ve just updated to Newspaper 10.3.8 and some of my content has disappeared. There are some static pages that just don’t appear at all in mobile view and some of the posts in categories (esp. stories) aren’t appearing in the relevant category page no matter what I do to the category template or category landing page. My landing page (HOME) doesn’t look the some on a mobile either and I can’t figure out how to change the colour of the menu slide-slide out… Weirdly, everything looks perfect on a tablet (iPad)?
I also can’t get the instagram feed to load. Help!

Some time ago I bought the “newspaper” template on themeforest. Yesterday I realized that the theme is no longer activated for some strange reason, and in fact the demos template is no longer loaded .. When I try to activate it worpress goes into error saying “You are not allowed to access this page.” (https://www.enjoyitalygo.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_cake_panel&_wpnonce=a635e7ac73) can you please help me.

I have the exact same problem and the answer above does not resolve the issue. I had the same idea and tried to add the classes but the CSS specific to each style is not added to the page, probably due to some tree shaking that’s happening behind the scene. Playing around with the code I found out that the counter style drop down is part of the Style tab and this tab/group is not rendered in the widget area. Moving the style option into the General tab by removing the following line do the trick:

I don’t want to have to patch the original plugin code so I strongly suggest to the tagdiv team to move this option into the General tab where it can be controlled form within the widgets section.
The reason I want to use the widgets section is because the theme has different templates for things like post/404/search/category/etc and I want all of them to have the same sidebar. Having to edit each one of these to make sure the sidebar is the same in all of them is not ideal, specially if you decide to later make one small change to it and end up having to edit 5-6 different templates. I want to build a sidebar using the widgets and just add to all my templates.
