Hi,
Thanks Christopher!
@thebharatnews
To show the meta date you need to enable it from theme panel > post settings like this: http://screencast.com/t/zweLxnoJf
For the spaces between posts please sue this custom css and add it in theme panel > custom css filed: http://screencast.com/t/ymdyzAMK1n6
As Christopher wrote, the first slider is added when you use the “homepage bg” template: http://screencast.com/t/msHYEZk2XxyL
And the second it’s the one you added using page builder.
To fix this you have to change the template or remove the one you added.
Thanks
When you choose the page template with slider, you don’t need to also add another slider. So, you might change the page template for blank, and then you’d only have the one slider as you’d defined it 🙂
What META info are you missing?
To create meta data for the home page, you need to enter that on the “page” used for the home page. Highly recommended is the YOAST SEO plugin which lets you set the description, and all other meta data for your home page and also show preview of the SERPS snippet 🙂
Hope that helped. Been there 🙂
Hi,
You can move the category tags above title or anywhere you want in the template, my ex is for the default post template and looks like this: http://screencast.com/t/gwthSzJD7MBo
For this you have to move this inside loop-single.php file: http://screencast.com/t/26Gx2qF5na8
Then use this css to arrange it:
.td-post-content .td-category {
top: 11px;
}
.td-post-content .post header h1 {
clear: left;
padding-top: 10px;
}
You can do the same for the other post templates.
Having duplicated content isn’t good for seo but I’m not sure that in this case search engines get a duplicated content, you could try to search for a seo tool to scan this page for duplicated content and if dose pick up duplicates you can use SEO by Yoast plugin to add the yoast breadcrumbs and customize them as you like: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-breadcrumb-to-my-custom-post-type/#post-19846
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Hi,
I have checked your site and found that you have fixed the issue you have when using post template 1, looks good now: http://screencast.com/t/msTqOAUh9hHG
For the IE issues please use this custom css:
.ie11 .sf-menu > .td-menu-item > a, .ie11 .sf-menu > .td-menu-item > a:hover, .ie11 .sf-menu > .td-menu-item > a:focus {
color: #ffffff;
}
.ie11 .td-header-menu-wrap .span9 .top-header-menu li a, .ie11 .td-header-menu-wrap .span9 .menu-post-and-page-settings-container .menu li a {
color: #353535 !important;
}
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks
Thanks Lucian. But whenever, I add the code of single-template-2.php to single-products.php it gives me a blank page. How are you adding the code. Can you paste the whole code of single-template-6 that you added to single-bk.php.
Thanks
Hello,
I’m trying to add the following code to my homepage but with no luck:
<?php echo do_shortcode(' | vrijeme čitanja: < [est_time]');?>
So, the idea is to add the estimated reading time to the homepage posts loop right after the post title and date published. I’m using Page Builder – with title template & Block 6 in Visual Composer. Any idea how to get this done?
Regards,
Hi Radu,
Please forgive me if the tone of my message seemed overly critical. Believe me when I say you do a PHENOMENAL job supporting this template. Honestly, one of the best efforts I’ve seen from any developer.
As far as caching is concerned, if there is caching then something must be malfunctioning on my deployment because it was definitely making requests to twitter each time an uncached page was loaded. Twitter has been having some API challenges since sometime this weekend for the social counter so it was causing page loads for admins, and writers on my staff to take over 1 minute. I traced the problem to the counter, disabled it and the problem went away.
We run a LAMP stack with Varnish, W3 Total Cache, Memcached and PHP-FPM on the latest Apache and Cent OS distributions. Two core i7 web servers with 32GB of Ram each and a separate database server with a load balancer.
The hardware and OS / PHP / Apache settings have been finely tuned for performance so I know from many, many hours of testing the issue does not lie there.
I am happy to help you test any issues out but I cannot do it on our production environment, I’ll have to setup a separate domain for testing with a separate instance of WordPress.
Thanks and I greatly look forward to the Async version of the Social Counter! 🙂
– Best
Luca
Hello,
As you can see in our Home page, we have a sidebar element, an image, which title name is ULTIMO NUMERO. In the Home page it’s showed properly centered.
But in the post page template or in a category page (the sidebar is the same), it’s showed aligned to the letf. Why? How can we solve this?

Hi,
Here is how you can set and use a full width page (without sidebar): http://screencast.com/t/AfZh5mOr053
for your custom post/page you can make changes to an existing template and build it as you like, you can find the post/page templates in the root of the theme: http://screencast.com/t/G2xh4bbwNO
If you want to add another post template please follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/help-post-site-template-for-custom-post-type/#post-22609
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi Tagdiv,
I am using the newspaper theme
we have integrated a powerful database engine into our code, but sadly we are unable to use it. no matter what we try and do the theme overrides our design. we have tried all the “regular” tricks like creating a new page template and all fails.
We would like to tweak the Newspaper theme in two ways:
We would like to use a WP Views template for a custom post type and totally overcome the theme’s design for all photographers’ pages. Can you provide the code for such a page template?
We noticed that even if we define a full width design for a specific page, there is still the space for the sidebar on the right, How can we avoid that and have the full width of the page usable?
we are at the point where we really dont know what to do. support has given us some clues but they dont work and we are at a stage that we need coding samples.
Please provide some code samples for us to implement. I think that a good sample would be one that can create a design free page for a page type. we can take it from there.
This is currently the only thing holding us from deployment. so we really need your help on this.
looking forward for you prompt reply
I had the same problem. Here are my steps (I think these are the only two I used, so let me know if it doesn’t work).
1. I edited my single_template_3.php file and moved the <header> content, which originally looked like this:
<header>
...
</header>
</div>
</div>
</div> <!-- close the row from td_page_generator -->
To look like this:
</div>
<header>
...
</header>
</div>
</div> <!-- close the row from td_page_generator -->
Note that I also redid my subtitles using Advanced Custom Fields. The way I did it, I was able to put it under the title in the <header> section. I’m not sure whether yours will end up where you want them.
2. I styled the header using CSS:
.single_template_3 header {
position: static;
}
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.single_template_3 header h1 {
margin-top: 30px;
}
}
This was a few weeks ago now and I don’t quite remember how I determined those style rules, but anyhow, hope it works for you…
Thank u …
Hi,
Use this line: <?php echo do_shortcode('[td_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]'); ?> and add it where you want the add to display in the template.
Also follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
what is the short code to be used to display custom ad in the attachment page…..
Thank u …its rocking ….
Hi,
For your first issue, you can get rid of the breadcrumbs on search module like this: http://screencast.com/t/wd80UQ6nBuWy
You can remove them the same way for other module also.
Regarding issue #2 please note that those setting will work for the pages templates build and added with the page builder and when used the default template.
We know about #3 and we have this on our to-do list to fix in the next update.
For the 4-th issue you could use this css to add a border to the top of page wrapper, like this: http://screencast.com/t/kcV8d2ZLj4R
.td-page-wrap {
border-top: 2px solid #a7a7cb !important;
}
#5 I’m not sure how this happens but you can use custom css to hide the banner only on homepage, like this: http://screencast.com/t/rDggCB6SIlUl
.home .header-content-rec .td-g-rec-id-header {
display: none;
}
and for post template 4 you can use this: http://screencast.com/t/K4PjrKpr3nI
.single_template_4 .header-content-rec .td-g-rec-id-header {
display: none;
}
Regarding the option for the banner to show before logo, you can simply do it like this: http://screencast.com/t/9cq1f3v9p5Bi
For the background of sidebar ad you can try this: http://screencast.com/t/BJhaoVkxCs1C
.td-g-rec-id-sidebar .adsbygoogle {
position: relative;
top: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px !important;
}
.td-g-rec-id-sidebar {
background-color: #a7a7cb;
padding-top: 20px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
}
Also use this sizes fro the sidebar Adsense ads: http://screencast.com/t/wlsdqlsI3p
Hope this helps! Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
Add this comments_template('', true); like this: http://screencast.com/t/LJ1cRIE8nGz
Please also make sure you do this for all cases, the example I gave you only adds it when the sidebar it’s located on the right/default.
Result: http://screencast.com/t/p80Rnjss8
Thanks

Can you help us in enabling comments template in comments for the attachment page …
3. If you are going to do that, use a tool like this: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/ Simply replacing it via a simple query can break serialized arrays.
If you have any links that aren’t local, this will also break them, as I’m sure you’re aware. A link to a Microsoft press release, for example. You can avoid that result by excluding the wp_posts table or even the content column (I forget its exact name) in that tool. I think that’s where you’d probably have most such links.
Template files would not be affected by a db query.
In future, I would try to make as many internal links as you can relative, i.e. instead of “http://styzic.com/my/page”, just “/my/page”. Makes things like this much easier. But some of the settings Chris mentioned obviously can’t be relative.
I’m customizing a template to launch PortugalStartup.com next monday. Suddenly when I was trying to update some settings within the theme pannel, when I click on SAVE SETTINGS, the icon showing that is saving show up but is there forever without saving the page.
I already saw some people with the same issue, and the solution was to ask the hosting provider to create an exception for a specific file (related with ajax). I contacted them today and they said that the file is missing some information to be able to work. Now i’m stuck and don’t know what to do.
I’ve updated the template for version 4.4 hoping that it would fixit, but no.
BTW, I’m using GoDaddy as hosting provider.
Can someone help me? I need to launch this website on Monday morning :s THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Hi,
I’m not sure what are trying to say. You should get duplicated posts in your big slider and latest articles list if you are using latest articles in your big slider. You can turn this option on and enable the unique articles on template, this should leave the latest posts in the slider only.
Thanks
Hi I have my homepage set with “Show only unique articles on this template”
At the end of this page I have a Block 7 inserted with Infinite load pagination, I have noticed however when i click “LOAD MORE” it is showing some duplicates of earlier content on the page.
Please let me know if this is expected or a bug.
Thanks
Hi Lucian, it’s all right now. I just reset the page template again and its OK.
