Hi Jose,
This is because you are using a posts loop element, this can not be filtered because it has it’s one filters set to can be use on categories, search results, homepage …
You’ll need need to use a flex block and you’ll be able to filter the categories.
Thank you!
Hi shogunteam,
You can make a homepage like that very simple, you need to set in a row a background and image -> https://i.imgur.com/Alfgjvo.png and set a title -> https://i.imgur.com/VybRYc0.png and the search element in it -> https://i.imgur.com/61ZelK5.png after that set a posts loop after them -> https://i.imgur.com/1KD8pgw.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that the problem depend on the files that you have set in child theme, if you set a file for posts/articles template, make sure that you set the file from standard pack -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and single.php or from wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single
If there is still a problem, let me know the way you implement the child theme and what files you have in it.
Hope this will help you!

Hi,
I can’t limit post number for latest articles on home page. In post loops settings Limit Post Number is 10, also in wordpress settings (Reading), but on home page always are over 100 posts.
Hello !
Unfortunately not. The post loop element will auto-render the posts from the category that it was inserted in. You can use Flex Blocks instead which have a more customization range.
Thank you !
Dear Support,
is it possible to Filter the “Posts-Loop” Element after exclusive Categories?
Greetings
Hello !
You are using a Category template which si fully editable using tagDiv Composer. You will have to add a post loop on your template in order to have the posts displayed.
Thank you !
Kind TagDiv Staff,
first of all, i’d like to say that your theme is wonderful. I maintain a Cinema and Music Magazine and thanks to your theme, it’s reborn.
My magazine is full of reviews (from 2005) and use Custom Fields to show additional info to our readers (Movie director, movie actors, year of production, movie poster and so on).
My problem is to add the PHP code that displays Custom Fields to your theme, in the loop-single.php file.
I’d like to modify it thorough FTP and i’ve read all the forum topics about “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin.
In my Cloud Template section on wordpress the cloud theme used by all posts is “Default Pro”.
So i’ve tried to insert the PHP code to display the custom fields into the following files, without any success:
1) wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php (i’ve insert the PHP code, no success)
2) wp-content/themes/Newspaper/loop-single.php (i’ve insert the PHP code, no success)
So to test the “advanced custom fields” plugin i’ve tried the following method:
a) modify through FTP one of the loop-single contained in wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/PARTS/SINGLE , in particular i’ve tried to modify loop-single-1.php
b) Edit a new post on WordPress using Style 1 template on “post setting” into the “general” tab
The Custom field appeared!!!
so the plugin works perfectly but it doesen’t work with Default Pro loop single.
And this is an huge problem, because the magazine has more than 10.000 reviews with several additional info and datas that at this moment are invisible for all our reader.
A great damage 🙁
please help
Take care
Thank you Colin!
I cannot use a Cloud Template as I have a lot of custom code in my single template (I am using loop-single-4.php)
Can I replace the following code with a code which would diplay the related articles as a flex block?
<?php echo $td_mod_single->related_posts();?>
Thanks!
Hi,
The pagination is only on latest articles option from page template or if you are using a posts loop, now the post loop can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can change the pagination -> https://i.imgur.com/dE2Csxk.png this can be done on categories too if you are using cloud templates.
Unfortunately this is only way to remove the pagination an use something that will slowing down less the site.
Thank you!
Hi Nagarig,
The answer from our developers was that you should use the same structure for mobile as for desktop, for example if you do not have pagination on desktop, then use the responsive version not the mobile theme plugin that has pagination (posts_loop), in this way in google results you’ll no longer get these results (for pages, but for categories will be display if is the case).
Also he said that at this moment they are working to improve the mobile theme plugin, but do not said what features this plugin will have.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
My website is https://pinlego.xyz/. When I try to load more posts using the “Load More” button. It just keeps spinning and doesn’t load the rest of the post feed.
Also since the new update the top menu/primary menu on page load jumps from center to the right side of the header.
Please let me know how to fix these issues.
Thanks
I have an issue with all upsell items and located at below is one of the URL’s.
http://www.soundqubed.com/product/soundqubed-decal-bundle/
If you hover over the upsell items in the list, the text color almost matches the background color.
I’ve made a custom CSS file and posted it below which does work on our test site, but wanted to know if any
theme option is available to modify the upsell font theme color, so I do not need to use the custom CSS or is
this the preferred method to fix this issue. I had read previous posts that some resolutions were using the Custom
CSS to fix the issue.

Hi arthur123, usually the pagination is only on posts loop element from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/bSWx6IU.png
If the problem persist, please provide some more details and a link were I can check this situation.
Thank you!
Hi, if you want to make change for flex block 1 you need to check this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_flex_block_1.php also the files for post loop can be found this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_loop.php
Maybe you can integrate the pagination from posts loop on flex block.
Hope this will help you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the post loop at this moment can display only posts, as you said will not work for CPT, for these you need to use a flex block, these elements has a filter for CPT -> , but do not has a pagination option.
Thank you!
Hello Calin!
Great! Thank you! This works for posts.
But I’d like to show not only posts, but also the CPT podcast. There seems to be no filter-option for post-types in the post loop like in a flex blog. How can I show CPT podcast also?
How can I edit the post in mobile view.
I use the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugins. In loop-singl-1.php I have the
<?php if( get_field('tel') ): ?>
<p>Tel: <?php the_field('tel'); ?></p>
<?php endif; ?>
So where do I have to add this code in mobile view?
Hi jakubz,
The thing is that you add a new type of tags ‘skladnik’, and this is not recognize by the theme, if you want to use the extra tags you need to add these in the posts templates too, for example for post template 1 -> https://i.imgur.com/2qqFenz.png -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php also the code for get_the_tags() is set on this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php -> https://i.imgur.com/UzM3RYi.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Chris Baird,
If you are referring to add ads inside a loop for posts, then no, unfortunately for the moment there is no option for this, sorry!
If you want you check some solutions provide on our forum for ads in post loop -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/ads-placed-within-the-loop/ maybe you can find something that will help you!
Than you for your understanding!
How can I exclude a category in a flexbox posts block, say a post has a featured category and also a news category but since is already showing up in the featured section of the homepage I don’t wanna see it in the news section.
Hi yudi budiman,
If you are referring to auto Scrolling from homepage, then you can set it on pro demos using tagDiv Composer on posts loop -> https://i.imgur.com/LvY710o.png
If you are referring to infinite loading, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and disable the infinite loading.
-> https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ from post -> https://i.imgur.com/yIf6fA3.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/KeclHLS.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/4jHIHFY.png
Thank you!
Hi.
In the categories template, I have the post imported the Medicine Pro template.
It has a post loop on top and a post loop at the bottom of the page.
I have set for the second post loop to have an offset of 2 and 9 posts limit with pagination.
What I get in the front end is the posts on the second one are the same as the posts on the first loop (offset not working), and I can only see 3 posts and have to press to load more (post limit not working). This is for any category.

Thanks
Thanks a bunch Calin for a well ellaborated answer, i was able to put the code and got it to work, it is in the td-standard-pack!!
That said, i have one extra question for now, i am trying to open up some divs in the posts but i can see the div names in chrome console, but unable to find them in single.php or loop-single.php.
Can you kindly guide me (refer to the link containing screenshot of what i am trying to do) with the php file (a whole path again) and div name i should look for where i can add my banner?
