Gracias.

Hi,

1. I checked the homepage and the next prev seems to be working on all blocks except the first one were all the time is bringing the same article. What I can suggest is to try with a filter applied this should resolved the situation.

2. Please check in the theme panel if you have any social share enabled to be display. If there are only a few socials, you can use this quite to add the rest of them – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/missing-social-share-options/

3. Where are “td-gadgets-loop” and “td-gadgets-flex” defined? – those classes are coming with the demo install, the css is implemented directly in the demo so you’ll need to overwrite it by adding an extra css that will apply on those classes.

4. This needs to be done per each block where you want to adjust the text, use tagDiv Composer, edit the page/template, select the block and in Layout tab look for button text – https://i.imgur.com/1bvkgVK.png

5. This can be done by editing the single post template with tagDiv Composer and enabling the infinite loading option. You can use this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-single-posts/

Thank you!

Hi,

I switched to the Gadget Pro theme today and encountered several issues that I’d appreciate your help with:

1. Prev/Next not working on homepage First (Main) Flexslider

On the homepage – https://www.haustier.net/ – the prev/next arrows on the first FlexSlider 2 block aren’t working. The block has no category filter. The second slider with the exact same settings works fine. (I now have set a filter there but it would also work fine. (Unique ads is not enabled on the page)

2. Social sharing buttons not visible on single posts

Example: https://www.haustier.net/die-richtige-ernaehrung-fuer-verschiedene-tierarten/
Nothing shows on the post pages when I add it in the page builder. It feels like sharing is somehow disabled or being blocked by the theme.

3. Where are “td-gadgets-loop” and “td-gadgets-flex” defined?

These classes appear to be specific to the demo content. I’d like to know where these are defined (CSS or template) so I can review or override them as needed.

4. Translating the “READ” button

How can I translate the “READ” button that shows up in blocks like “More from author” and certain homepage grids? I couldn’t find this string in the theme’s translation panel.

5. How to enable infinite scroll like in the demo?

I’d like to activate infinite scroll on post single, just like in the Gadget Pro demo. Is there a specific setting or block type that enables this?

Thanks in advance for your support — let me know if you need more details.

Hi,

That’s the space for the sidebar. Maybe the sidebar you are using has no widgets inside it. You can check in the theme panel what sidebar is used https://prnt.sc/leSgeaSVPycH or remove the sidebar https://prnt.sc/M_cPlozX-61S

From what I se you removed the sidebar https://prnt.sc/P9sT-qnNKdbn To avoid issues like these https://prnt.sc/H_psJQ-2CnR7 you can change the number of posts displayed in the category page post loop here https://prnt.sc/JmoBSxSrjXRI Set it to 12 for example.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’m trying to use the publishpress authors plugin to add editors to the posts and create custom author categories. Unfortunately the plugin breaks the authors page. When I turn on the plugin’s option to replace the default WordPress author pages the site breaks. But when I leave the cloud template the loop doesn’t show.

Any why I solve this compatibility issue? I

Greetings.
There are separate categories “News”, “Articles”, “Dossiers”, which are independent of each other, but for some reason, entries from the categories “News”, “Articles” began to be displayed in the category “Dossiers”. I tried various blocks, including “Posts Loop”, “Flex Block”, “Big Grid Flex”, I set filters specifically for the category “Dossiers”, but to no avail. In WordPress, everything is displayed correctly, the entries are not assigned 2 categories at once, but still the entries from the categories “News”, “Articles” are displayed in the category “Dossiers”, as if they were subcategories of “Dossiers”.

Hello! Is there a way to use the Post Loop to display posts from a specific category? For example, I have two categories: “News” and “Reports.” In the first block, I need to show only posts from the “News” category, and in the second block, only posts from the “Reports” category.

Hello!

Ah, ok. They are different elements with different styles. The posts loop has 100% width by default. So, you should add the width auto for the posts loop: https://app.screencast.com/FumD9C7wZSYv2
In the CSS there, you can simply add -10, not -10px.

Thank you!

Hey there!

I think there is something wrong – I wrote that I am using a Flex Block but I was wrong – I use a Flex Block for Desktop and a Posts Loop for mobile.

What you suggest works for Flex Block but when I try to do the same thing for Posts Loop it doesn’t work. I recorded this video for you – https://www.loom.com/share/dadc8b127e5548c596817458224c3594?sid=ccebb966-fd58-42da-8c76-4dd0ef171572

You can see that I use the exact same settings for both elements but one of them doesn’t look right.

Is this a bug or?

Hello.

Are you sure that the settings are saved? Also, do you have two posts loop in the page? Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper -> Plugins and check if the issue persists.
Also, clear the cache from your plugins.

Thank you!

Hello,
we have noticed a bug in the “Posts Loop” component of the TagDiv Composer editor. We use this block in the category page template.

The issue is as follows: when setting the “Offset” field to 3 (in order to display posts starting from the 4th article onward), the setting seems to work correctly in the backend editor. Anyway, on the front end, the value is not applied, so all posts are displayed instead. Screens of the issue are attached to the following message.

Hello!

Unfortunately, the posts loop shortcode doesn’t have this option to show the post views.
A workaround could be to use the Module Views shortcode in a Module template and display the custom module using the flex block builder shortcode in your homepage for example.
Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/

Hey there,

Is it possible to add the post view count to an element like the posts loop?

If yes – how?

Best regards!

Hello!

The NFT PRO demo works as it should work. The default demo has an option on the other rows than the one with posts loop shortcode from the homepage enabled: https://app.screencast.com/42cV7N2wOWAQh
The rows will be hidden when you use the pagination.

Thank you!

Bettina

Hello!

The Posts Loop shortcode has this setting to hide the category from the modules: https://app.screencast.com/G174aFTn9yhLG

Thank you!

Bettina

Hello!

The posts loop will display the current category’s posts. You can use a flex block instead: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Please note that if your posts have multiple categories assigned, they will display if you choose to filter at least one category from multiple ones.

Thank you!

I want to select my AI category ( blog posts) in my post loop. I dont see an option to select different categories from the tag div composer.

I have 3 pages on my site. Crypto – AI – Web3. I want the proper category to display, currently the page that is working is (Crypto)

Hello!

A workaround there could be to use a flex block 1 there with limit 1 for the big block and use a filter. And in the second part you can add another flex blocks. The offset value can help you with multiple blocks with the same feature. For example, the first block can not have an offset, but the second block can have an offset of 1, or how many posts display the first block, and they are showing the next latest, for example, and not the same post. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/ ; You can use this option: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/, so you won’t see double posts anymore.
Check the settings of a flex block here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
You can also create custom modules. More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/

Hi again, I’ve now tried with the Flex Block and the pages do appear again, so I’m going to stick to the Post Loop with “posts” in the Post Type field. That appears to do the trick.

Bettina

Hello!

Please edit the page with the tagdiv Composer and add a Flex Block with the filter Search: Current Search and check if it works. I’ve tested the latest update, and it seems to work well, especially the posts loop and flex block shortcodes.
You can also set in the post type: post.

Thank you!

Congratulations,
1. There is a problem with the selection of the category template, for some reason another template is not selected (https://imgur.com/a/89n3Uxn).
2. When some records are excluded and when several records are skipped in the “Posts Loop” block, when the next news is automatically downloaded, they begin to repeat (https://imgur.com/a/SS9maCN).

Hello,

Yes, use one posts loop and how many flex blocks you want.
You can hide it with a custom code CSS, or change the block header type.

Thank you!

Hello,

We do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template because most of the settings from the first loop element will be inherited for the second one.
For flex block, you should choose the current category“: Category – Current category ”special filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hi there,

I’ve created a custom post type via ACF and displayed it inside a Flex Loop Builder element (so that Flex Loop Filters can be used). I’ve set the sort order to “Alphabetical A -> Z”.

I’m wondering if there’s a possibility to display certain (featured) posts before others (which are in alphabetical order). Is there a way to set that, for instance, based on a specific custom field / (featured) taxonomy?

I know this can be done somehow via Flex Block Builder, but it doesn’t help, because I want to use Flex Loop Filters, so Flex Loop Builder needs to be set.

Not sure if I’m clear enough, but I’m referring to some kind of “Stick to Top” (specific to the default WP posts), which makes some articles pinned to top.
I’m not looking to make the CPT stick to the top in Flex Loop Builder, but more to display some promoted posts before others. Maybe a custom function will help…

I’d really appreciate your support in achieving this.

Kind regards,
