Hello,

Do you have this issue with the category template?
For each category, on the flex block there is a special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category.
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/

Thank you!

Hi,

how can I increase the number of entries inside a Post Loop that is displayed on the home page, tag, or categories pages?

I can’t remember how I did it in the past. Can you help me please?

Hello,

You can filter the blocks as you wish. You need to edit with tagdiv Composer, select the block and here you can set filter and sort options https://i.imgur.com/36RhphI.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Please check the block with “No posts” and delete it the offset number; leave it empty with no space or value: https://app.screencast.com/Gh9jDf6t0XtLS

Hello,

The Flex Loop builder works like the posts loop. The Flex loop builder automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category). You can find more details here https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/

Thank you!

Hello Bhanu Srivastav!

1. In the mobile viewport, there is a modal popup, and it can be modified from here: https://app.screencast.com/fRsnDrE6AdPVN -> view and edit it with the tagdiv Composer.
Suppose you check the menu in the Appearance -> Menus. Click the courses, and there you can see the page ID used there: https://app.screencast.com/97p31pKgCjCcH

2. Edit the page with the tagDiv Composer, ensure the shortcode plans switcher is present, and choose a plan. On the right side, there is the plans button shortcode, and you need to choose a valid free plan there.

3. Edit the blog page with the tagdiv Composer, and check the block if you have any offset, delete it, or use a flex block instead of the posts loop shortcode. Check if you have the posts assigned to that category and if they are published posts.

4. You should have the Contact Form 7 plugin.

Thank you!

one question – how do i filter the flex loop builder element to only show posts from one category? Similar to the filter option on the legacy post loop.

thank you!

Hi there,

I’d like to move the author name under to be underneath the excerpt in the posts loop. I’m currently using Posts Loop 2 and currently the author name shows in between the title and the post excerpt.

This would be a great future feature if it isn’t already, in the meantime though, where is the PHP for the post loops located? I’m guessing I could move the PHP that gets the author to be underneath the excerpt PHP for this specific post loop.

Thank you!

Hi,

Please edit the search page with the tagdiv Composer, click on the results(Posts Loop element) and delete the value of the offset posts. Let it empty with no space no value: https://app.screencast.com/Gh9jDf6t0XtLS
If you use a flex block there, then please set the special filter there Search – Current search.
Save the changes and view the results.

I hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello,

There are more blocks, not only one. You can use Flex Block 1, to do those designs and filter it. Hello,

You can use a custom field type, true or false, to show or exclude posts with this set.
The flex loop block is a special block that shows current posts from a category, like a posts loop https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/posts+loop/

Thank you!

Hello,

is there a more detailed explanation on these filter options?

Include custom field – Include posts by specific Custom Field ( ACF true_false type ). If the CF meta value is true the post will be displayed on block.
Exclude custom field – Exclude posts by specific Custom Field ( ACF true_false type ). If the CF meta value is true the post will be excluded.

And is there a reason why the Flex Loop Builder is missing the “Multiple terms filter”

Hello,

1. Yes, you can create your own modules like here and set the post type on the Flex builder block -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/ Also, you can
2. You need to enable this option for custom post type -> https://i.imgur.com/evLNxpk.png and after you can set a featured video like for normal posts -> https://i.imgur.com/qUXkePX.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
3. You can create the testimonials using custom field element -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-fields-support/
4. Yes, you can insert a button to set a link where you want to go.

Thank you!

Hi,

That is possible. You could test it on posts first. The Yoast breadcrumbs can be added in the post template file.

The post template files are in the composer here https://prnt.sc/RMECazpUiK1I Each of them corresponds to a post template, loop/single template 1 means post template 1 for example.

In the post template the theme breadcrumbs are displayed via this line of code https://prnt.sc/N65vACkzn0Bx which can be removed or commented.

Then the Yoast breadcrumbs can be displayed via the code they provide here https://yoast.com/help/how-to-implement-yoast-seo-breadcrumbs/
Like this https://prnt.sc/ZQ-uTUitRlJD

The Yoast breadcrumbs are then displayed https://prnt.sc/qb7ZfX6zQyjq and they can be customized in the Yoast plugin https://prnt.sc/vUk7Ph5Qp5ix Visually they may need some CSS to fit with the rest of the website, they look kind of rough by default.

Please try and let me know if I can help more.

Thank you!

Hello!

Do you mean to filter by the tag chosen from a dropdown? So this you can achieve from here: https://app.screencast.com/cncUHRHGdNGii
Add a Flex Loop shortcode to display the posts regarding the filter.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, Block 11 doesn’t have this setting. Use the posts loop shortcode instead.
–> May I ask which file I need to modify shortcode?

Excuse me , how do I use the posts loop shortcode instead.
I set CATEGORIES -> Per category settings -> Category Cloud Library Template ( use Block11)
Could you give me a sample to do it ?
thanks

Hello,

We do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template because most of the settings from the first loop element will be inherited for the second one.
A workaround is to use flex blocks, and set the ads after each flex block and using the offset option -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
For flex block, you should choose the current category“: Category – Current category ”special filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hallo,

We’re trying to break our category page into smaller post loop sections to insert additional content after every 6 articles. While the preview works correctly, cloning a column and setting an offset for the next 8 articles, the live site displays the same posts as the first section.

We’ve also recorded a screen capture demonstrating the issue.

Could you please help us resolve this?

Hello,

I am using the Flex Loop Filters on a page that shows all posts belonging to one of my custom taxonomies.
I have ticked the “hide empty terms”, but it still shows all available terms.
Doesn´t it work with custom taxonomy?

Hello,

I have managed to work with Flex Loop Filters with custom taxonomies.
How do I add a filter by date?
A very simple question, but I could not find anything in the forum related to this.

Thank you
