Hi,
Unfortunately there is still no spam protection from you. I use the free plugin “FastSecure reCAPTCHA” how can I install that there. Can you install it there at all?
greetings
Ingo
I am waiting for the solution as well.
Let me know if you figure it out Bertel. Thank you.
TagDiv: Being the developer of such a big theme, we indeed expect spam banning solution by default from you guys. Adding recaptcha can be a great thing. Please consider this option in the future updates. Thank you.
Hello Bertel,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an implemented option for ReCaptcha in modal login, sorry! If you want to have this feature, please notice that you will have to implement it yourself because we cannot provide custom modifications at the moment, sorry! As a hint, you should edit the td-login-modal.php core file and add there your customizations, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dDu61XdmXu If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Usually we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Maybe I am missing something, but I was hoping to add a recaptcha to the user registration page. I have done it for the WP-admin page, but was wondering how I can add it to the pop-up.
Has anyone implemented reCaptcha for WordPress comments without using a plugin?
Hi. Is’t possible to put ReCaptcha (https://ru.wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/) to SIGN IN / JOIN form?
If you want to implement a certain plugin such as recaptcha you should follow the instructions provided by the plugin author. They must provide the information on where to add the code you mention.
We have not tested it so we cannot provide a solution.
Alternatively you can try a few captcha plugin your self (free) from the WordPress repository
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but we did not test recaptcha so i cannot say for sure what should be done for the plugin implementation. We have no idea of it;s functionality so I cannot provide any solution for untested plugins. Sorry. Maybe one of our users can recommend a captcha plugin that works fine with our theme.
Thank you!
Hi all again. This is my second topic. 🙂
I am sure there are some similar topics in forum. But I couldn’t find solve. And I don’t have time enough
I’m thinking use No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA plugin.
And I want add recaptcha to pop-up login, register and password recovery section.
How I can do it? Which files should I edit? And how I add to codes?
Thanks.
Best regards.
Hi all. i have some questions.
1- i am using reCAPTCHA because of can t use your login form. When i put my username and password than show me wrong user information. Because of I’m going recaptcha. How can i fix this?
2- i am using smart list 6. I do not want to show ads on each pages. for expamle i have 10 list. i want to show ads, 1,3,5,7,9 pages. how can i do?
Hi Team
Great theme and great functions, thank-you so much. I’ve had a character encoding issue that I’ve been tying to work out for the last few weeks and just can’t figure it out. The weird characters are not in the database and they’re only appearing when viewed from mobile devices. We’re not posting from Word into the text editor, and I’ve checked (best I can) that all of the character encoding everywhere is utf-8. I’m guessing this isn’t theme specific as thee’s reports of this all over the place for WordPress, but I cannot find any that are specific for mobile devices. The symbols show up in embedded twitter posts also, which makes me think it is on the page rendering side.
I do not have the mobile theme activated as we want the content of the live site to show.
The link is https://ninetyminutesonline.com.
My best guess is some sort of plug-in conflict, but I’m hoping you guys may be able to help. Here’s the list of plug-ins installed:
-Auto Post Thumbnail
-Block Bad Queries
-Category Posts in Custom Menus
-Disqus Comment System
-Envato Market
-Feed Them Social
-Jetpack
-Share Buttons by AddThis
-Shortcodes Ultimate
-Slider Revolution
-Swift Mailer
-tagDiv Social Counter
-tagDiv Speed Booster
-W3 Total Cache
-WP Crontrol
-WP Missed Schedule
-WP reCaptcha Integration
-WPBakey Visual Composer
-Yoast SEO
Big list I know, but I doubt there are many thee that could cause an issue on the rendering side. We’re also running CloudFlare, however the issues existed before we added the CloudFlare configuration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I installed Google’s recaptcha plugin to reduce the amount of spam and fake registrations, but unfortunately this only shows up in the default Word Press login page not on Newspaper theme. Can you please help me on how to add the plugin to show up in the login page from Newspaper. Both on mobile and desktop.
Thank You
Found it
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php (desktop)
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/parts/register.php (mobile)
But idk if it matters ’cause reCaptcha isn’t synced to loggin/registering. So what I really need is to figure out how to do a redirect for the login/register buttons.
I need to modify the login/register thing so I can add reCaptcha to it (or might redirect to ultimate member plugin’s login page). Anyone know where to find it or edit it? Thanks!
I found the problem. its a plugin called WP reCaptcha Integration. It just go wrong using the mobile version of Newsmag. No problems on the Desktop version. Don’t know what to do. :/

Hi,
I can’t figure why, when someone loads my site for the 1st time, images won’t load.
Screens from different browsers:
mozilla: http://screencloud.net/v/8uDB
chrome: http://screencloud.net/v/xWSD
opera: http://screencloud.net/v/nR7d
ie (f#ck3d header) http://screencloud.net/v/n5FT
ie (f#ck3d sidebar) http://screencloud.net/v/L1U
Screens from page speed test websites (notice the tested url screenshot)
pingdom: http://screencloud.net/v/642V
gtmetrix:http://screencloud.net/v/4H4E
webpagetest: http://screencloud.net/v/i1ER (notice how repeated view is different from 1st view)
My website is currently running on a vps:

php info: http://technicamart.com/phpinfo.php
(for other system details just ask)
Installed and active plugins:
Amazon Simple Affiliate (ASA 2) – 99% sure it doesn’t conflict, tested without it being activated and same thing happens – no images on 1st view
Better WordPress reCAPTCHA
Contact Form 7
Google Analyticator
Regenerate Thumbnails
WP Smush
WPBakery Visual Composer

Jetpack by WordPress.com (running only protect and photon) – I’ve tried disabling and enabling photon countless times to see if it’s because of it, it is not.
My head hurts. What I expected to be an easy extract and install press of a button turned out to be hours of testing to see what the hell is wrong.
Already did some search on your forums before making this post. If you’ll recommend me to turn off image loading animation effect(lazy loading) won’t cut it for me as it was the major point that sold me your theme. Running your theme only with your recommended wp plugins also won’t cut it.
For the moment I’ve stopped using your theme. Will try it on a clean wp install in the next few day (even if does work won’t solve my current problem).
Till then, I need your help.
Thank you for detailed instruction. I succeeded to set up sidebar at page using VC but unfortunately there is no result at categories. I set up everything properly (sidebar mode, custom sidbars etc.) at Newspaper theme panel. Please take a look at enclosed screens:

I also noticed problem with building widgets. Sometimes it can’t be saved and after adding elements and save they are “clear” without content.
I turn off plugins one by one (most important apart from some small extensions like icons pack) and deleted caches. Also with no result for displaying sidebar.
List o my plugins (additional): Cookie Notice, CodeStyling Localization, Collapse-O-Matic, Disqus Comment System, Mango Buttons, Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA, Pretty Link Lite, Reviewer, Scroll to Anchor, TablePress with extensions, Use Any Font, WP SVG Icons, Yoast SEO
I would be gratefull for other suggestions 🙂
Marek

Website ….. !!!!!
NO RECAPTHA.

Theme does not control comments emails, or account setup emails or forms. WP handles all email, unless you have a form or other plugin allowing access to the site in some way.
If using a form handler, disable sending confirm emails. Most common spam method. Disable WP sending you emails about spam comments on your blog/publication. This will look like spam, but it’s actually your setup having WP email you about spammy comments.
If allowing people to ‘sign up’ on your site, make sure you have akismet, a good recaptcha, and possibly other solutions out there.
Make sure you use a plugin like Limit Login Attempts to stop people trying to guess passwords.
Try normal security practices and figure out WHAT is actually sending the emails. New account? Form reply? Lost password hacks? Disable XML-RPC unless you 100% know you need it.
Lots of articles online about this issue.
Not a theme problem 🙂
Well i ended up leaving the login without any captcha and replacing the register form with a link to the wordpress registration page, that one protected by google recaptcha. Also installed Ban Hammer and banned several domains like all the ones from http://discard.email/en/
I’m monitoring registrations, the ones that come through seem pretty legit, clean emails and credible usernames.
Hey thanks for looking into it i am sure the code is being inserted the problem is it doesn’t render, if you want to see what i mean you will need to generate the keys for your domain here:
https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin
And then insert “Site key” and “Secret Key” here:
http://your-site-url.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=google-captcha.php
Once you do this you will see that while the code gets inserted fine the captcha doesn’t show up, i only was able to see it on firefox and IE if i click the login button while the page is still loading:
So ok. I’ve been reading old posts recommendations but nobody posted a concrete solution.
I did not achieve it yet but i think i’m close.
The file that needs to be modified is this:
/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/parts/header/top-menu.php
I want to use this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/
Because it provides a method to work with custom login forms, like newsmag’s:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/recaptcha-not-showing-in-custom-form?replies=2
So basically you add this on the right spot of top-menu.php:
<?php if( function_exists( 'gglcptch_display' ) ) { echo gglcptch_display(); } ; ?>
I’ve done it with mixed results:
On Firefox:
it shows up ONLY if you click login/join while the page is still loading, if you wait for the page to load completely and then click login/join then recapctha then it doesn’t show up.
On Internet explorer:
Same as firefox.
On CHROME:
The recaptcha doesn’t show up ever.
I’ve read around and i think the problem is AJAX and that captcha is loading inside a modal popup div.
So, is there a way to make this work? thank you!
Hello,
Does someone know why contact form 7 shows some buttons in Dutch? It’s the file uploading button and the text next to it (and the recaptcha but maybe google does this automacally). It’s supposed to be in English.
http://www.screencast.com/t/7ZmCtPBt
The translations set in theme panel are in English.
Thanks,
Demian
I think we were using the no-captcha recaptcha plugin for one of our sites for a grant submission form. That seemed to work well to get the not a robot captcha.
Worth a try for your needs:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/no-captcha-recaptcha/
