Hi Team,

My website is a high traffic site that gets around 200k to 250k pageviews per day. Recently we experienced serious loads and website crashing even though we have top-end dedicated server allotted for it. We investigated and found many reasons why this might be happening, we are fixing them one by one, and we found this -> While reviewing the top requests on our website, I noticed that our theme generates an extremely high number of admin-ajax requests which, on a website with the amount of traffic you receive, could be bogging down the server. In approximately 24 hours the following request was made over 41k times.

POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=7.5

Is there a resolution to this?

Hello – I have created a mega menu from my main menu bar, and it drops down to show posts correctly. https://www.screencast.com/t/xqY7e6U0PJ. However when I try to click on an individual category, I would like to point that to the page link for the category but instead it seems to default to another category? My site is in preview mode so I will send you my wordpress login and password to contact@tagdiv.com

Hi,

We are using the td-reviews metadata on our website.
By default, it seems to only display ratings, summary and a score.

However, we would like to expand this and add a price to it as well.
Eventually, we also would like to get some extra buttons under the review summary.
This additional data would be inputted by Advanced Custom Fields.

Where can I update the code of this table so I can get display the content of the custom fields?

On 16th Sep 2019, Google tweaked their rich snippets requirements, wherein the itemReviewed property is now supported only for a very small list of Schema.org types.

I have a row that I have created in tagdiv visual composer and I applied a YouTube video as a background video to show in the row, however it is not playing when I view it on the front-end, it only shows a thumbnail image for the video with the play icon over the thumbnail and it isn’t clickable. The video plays fine however when I preview the page in the tagdiv visual composer editor, but not when I view the page not from within the tagdiv visual composer editor.

Please help as I want to have a video background for this but it does not seem to want to play on the front-end.

Hello – on the bottom of each of my posts, I have a small icon appearing (circled in red on this screenshot) https://www.screencast.com/t/oMnGRfLVNPd. When I click on it, it’s a link to the same post that it appears on. I checked my post settings as well as TD composer, and I don’t see anything that would be creating this. I also disabled any plug-ins and it’s still there. Could you let me know how to get rid of it? Since I’m in preview mode, I will send a separate email to tagdiv support with my login information if needed.

There is one thing that is annoying is when using composer, when I click save, if for any reason the request got lost in the cyberspace or that the ISP is messing with you, then we stay with this “loading” animation that doesn’t allow a retry.

Guy, this theme is gr8, but one thing is lacking is error management.

And being there would be nice that the “preview” button did actually wait for save to happen before opening the new tab… callback?… someone tried to translate php to js?… usually someone will have to rewrite it in js
It’s a bit like my english… when in France, with french people, my english doesn’t sound so bad 😉

I didn’t go look into the composer to see what techno was used, but there is a very simple way to deal with promise/error management

I’ve read some others have said it may be robots.txt file blocking access for Google BUT all three times I’ve applied the code, it says ‘code found’ but after their review I’m hit with “Site down or unavailable”.

Hello!
I am trying to make a new Header and have trouble adjusting the distances above and below elements. I am using a picture as a banner and a menu underneath. Only the distance of banner and menu/search bar is to far. Do I adjust that in the CSS section of the Element editing section? Using it results in inconsistent results in the live preview and I fear to mess things up elsewhere.
Pls advide me if this is the correct place or if I need to do something else? Maybe a “higher” place where to change those distances, because also the default distance of a “title” Element and a “list” element below is too far (about same amount). So is there someplace where I can set something like “distance of elements stacked on top of each other”?

Newspaper had a beautiful register/login form, but have no admin cms to custom them. I also want to custom the content of auto email will be send to new register user or something like that.
How or where i can do this? Help!
Or let me know /suggest another plugin work well with the Newspaper
