This is something that you addressed in a previous query on the forum, but I’m struggling to determine where to place the code you recommended at this link.

Hi,
I would ask how to make an “infinity load” on the single.php – or article post page?
I would achieve when a user just about the end of their readings + sharing tools, ads, like button, author box, comments sections — then just “auto-load” the next article which could be chosen ( by admin) from categories, tags, or just the very previous article from the list.
How can I do that? Is it available in Newspaper from Tagdiv?

Hi,
When I try to share posts to Facebook I sometimes end up with no image and a heap of text that I don’t want included in the preview such as the categories, social media buttons etc. Then the next time I share the same post I get an image but still some text I don’t want to show such as the categories.

The first time I got the preview on the left and the second time I got the preview on the right as shown here:

It might just be that the image didn’t have time to load the first time I tried to share it. Either way, I don’t want the categories included in the Facebook preview. How can I get full control over what is shown in the social media previews?
I’ve seen Yoast SEO mentioned in the forums. Is this a plugin that is guaranteed to be fully compatible with Newspaper theme? Is it something you would recommend we use or is there another way we can do this without having to install a plugin?

All the thumbnails that the theme creates are cropped, please check here

Depending on your original image aspect ratio and the grids/blocks/modules used there will be different results

You can use any featured image size you want, bigger and higher quality images will create better thumbnails.
If you are not satisfied with the featured image when sharing on Facebook, you can set an image of your choosing in Yoast settings for each post

I’m using “Gadget” theme for my site.
Last time I ask for thumbnail size & I got the reply that 1068*712 is good.
But when I start using same size thumbnail then why it’s not showing full image on my Front-page?
The image gets crop why?
Downside it’s working great but in the top area, it’s not working. Please help me!
And I would like to ask one more question that, why it’s not showing full Image on Facebook & Twitter when I’m sharing post there?
I saw “Neil Patel” Facebook page, his all images are showing perfect without cropping any small size. I try on my site with same thumbnail size but it’s still cropping on my Facebook page, why?

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using another plugin for Social Sharing and not our plugin, why? -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KRzGqgMCza Our Social Counter plugin has been fully tested with the theme and should work as expected, without any problems.

Thanks for the answer. Even tough the sites you shared are useful, my wish was to see a preview of my website with that fonts quickly. Those sites doesn’t solve that problem but, still useful websites. Thank you for sharing!
When trying to share an article or post to Facebook, it includes information that I do not want displayed. I’ve attached a screenshot to show what I’m talking about. The second line repeats the show title, and also shows the date, and for some odd reason shows the names of the other social sharing icons I have active on the site in the order as they appear…Facebook, Twitter, Google+,etc.
All I want is either an excerpt from the article under the title and image, or even better nothing all expect the image, the show title and maybe the date it was published. But honestly, if I can’t have anything except the title and image I would be good with that. Showing Facebook, Twitter, Google+ before any article text makes the site look amateurish, which is not what I want from the Newspaper theme. Please, could you help with this issue? I really don’t want to have to deal with using 3rd party plugins to solve this. Isn’t there some setting or custom css I can slap in and remove all that stuff in one fell swoop? From what I can see there are no featured images set for your posts. The posts seems to be built with the elementor builder, maybe that is not a problem in this matter. But there is no featured image set so there will be none when sharing as well

So an author page which does not contain any image will display that image instead. I am not aware of any modification to be made to affect only whatsapp, maybe there are some suggestions online if that is even possible. It may not be.

If this doesn’t work, I’ll send you a screen capture. I’ve deactivated the AMP plugin, but now that I’ve deleted the demo posts, everything may be okay. It may be the Google ads need adjusting. If you click on one of the post links, it highlights the Google ad that is self-adjusting. Maybe this needs changing.

It seems that besides the sharing the post content is also doubled for some reason, from the source website

I would have no idea how that works unfortunately, we always recommend that the themes be used with self created and published posts and pages. Try a different plugin or implementation instead of the one currently used and make tests.
Maybe some users who use RSS for pulling content can provide some advice you can try.

Those would be in no relation, the theme was removed from sale by a simple misunderstanding. We tried hard to make it available as soon as possible.
But this would have no connection with your website, if that is what you are suggesting.

The share buttons are only for posts, only posts can be shared and only in the post page. So there would be no way to display the same sharing in other locations than posts.
I believe you want to display sharing options in the modules that display the posts, that is not possible with the current theme settings unfortunately. If such a request becomes more popular, maybe in a future theme update something like this will be available.

When your theme vanished from the market, I have started to receive multiple bugs on the theme. After it got back I did update it on 8.8.1 and still there are issues.
Issues:
1. Article top and bottom sharing missing
2. WP admin post links crippled
I have already escalate issue to my hosting and there’s nothing wrong with the any of WP files. So, the theme is the problem. Thanks

Adding more code there could create problems, also with the automatic sharing section functionality. But you can make some tests and see if that happens.

That should not be a problem, the Yoast SEO plugin should add all the necessary meta to the source of the page. This should be then picked up when sharing.
If you use additional sharing plugins or plugins with sharing capabilities, please deactivate them temporarily as a quick test and check again. Or just deactivate them all quickly (except theme plugins) and try the share with WhatsApp. Let us know the results.

updated to 8.8.1. problem still there. it does not pick article detail when they are sharing. just display the domain.
The time ago has been introduced for the post date, maybe a last updated will be introduced as well in a future update. This is a possibility.
We are also aware of the sharing issue, sorry for that inconvenience as well. All of these will be solved in a theme update.
The composer will indeed allow you to stretch elements in the post templates, just like on pages. Our documentation for the plugin will be improved and more instructions and examples will be added in the future.
