Please provide more details to what sharing buttons you would like to add. The theme has 3 sharing social icons options.

Anything beyond these options can be added with plugins or custom modification.

Thank you for sharing this info. We have not encountered this issue before. As you said, it could be browser related if it works on other browsers. If you manage to get it working on chrome as well please post your solution so we know what setting from chrome could interfere with the social counter.

Yes, it is correct. Our theme has been designed to show only in mobile version the Whatapps sharing. If you want to show it on full devices, please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom Css area, like this:

Unfortunately the social counter does not work like that. It is programmed to pull the likes/followers from a given username/id.
For that there is the top and bottom article sharing (http://screencast.com/t/djyGMEZg) which has a share button and a like count for your post.

The social sharing used by our theme can be deactivated from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/E6ozoHyW
There is also the tagdiv social counter plugin which you can deactivate from the plugins area.
Unfortunately the plugin you mentioned is not tested with our theme and we cannot guarantee it’s compatibility.

The file does not come from our theme unfortunately so we cannot offer a solution for it. I have not found anything on google about it either. Sorry!.

Unfortunately you can only add the TagDiv social counter on pages. The theme has no page sharing options. For that you will need to use a plugin. Unfortunately we cannot make a recommendation as we have not tested sharing plugins with our theme. Maybe one of our users can make a suggestion on which one works best. If not, try a few of them out and see which one does the trick.

Unfortunately due to facebook changes we have many reports of issues. You can try to update the theme to the latest version as many improvements were made.
Please set the OG tag from the SEO Yoast plugin as Chris suggested and check sharing again.

It seems that you need to hit the share button a couple of times until facebook can grab the image.
Thank you for reporting this issue, but unfortunately there is little we can do about it. When facebook gets overcrowded, issues like this can happen.
A new update for newspaper was just released and it fixes a few important issues. Please update to the newest version and see if this sharing issue still exists.
