Hi, I’ve created a youtube playlist per the instructions, but it is appearing vertical and not horizontal? How do I fix this?
I am using Visual Composer. See example here. I tried it in a text widget, in a smartlist and a blank post, but none of it worked.
is there a way that even there is no heading i can use that smartlist3 work.
Title tags is when the smartlist is trigger. but is there other way to customize other than tag title. I use this one <!–nextpage–> but it did not work in smartlist 3.

Above screen shot, I am facing.
I follow the process in the document to make smartlist, but it is not working.
set
1) Title
2) text in the body
3) put the image
4) choice type 5 for post
5) choice type anything for smart list
6) default is heading 3
But nothing happened for my posting and I cannot find some function on toolbar like dropdown list for heading.

I am using smartlists on my site(style 4 mostly).
They appear ok in desktop version but on mobile, they become paginated i.e. you have use next/prev buttons to view next.
I would like to disable that and keep it similar to desktop i.e. show all items in a single page.
How can I do that?

For some reason, my smartlist postings aren’t coming up correctly on mobile. I am using smartlist 2 where is doesn’t require the user to hit the next button to load a new item. Instead, a user can just scroll down the page and see all the numbers. This use to be te same if someone viewed it on their mobile device. For some reason, if someone views it on their mobile device, they have to hit the next button to see the next list number. On a desktop, it still works where someone can just scroll down the page, just not for mobile and it’s annoying. For some of my smart list, I have a long intro. So if someone on mobile views that posting, they have to keep scrolling halfway down the page and load the next item. Is this a bug or did something change? Does anyone know how I can have a single page smartlist 2 for mobile where a user can just scroll down the page?

Sorry but the smart lists do not have this sort of options. They are very complex parts of the theme and the smart list elements cannot be changed. It is not a simple customization to make. The smartlist layout will have to be re-created in order to move an element. Sorry but we cannot provide any solution in this regard. You will have to hire a developer to help out with the customization. The code for the smart list can be found here:

Right now we have the buttons above each image but we would like to change it and set them up below the image.

Unfortunately that is the way the smart list were designed, as it can be seen in the demo also – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/smart-list-style-2/ and at the moment there is no solution in this regard. When using Smartlist 2, it looks like the photo alt attributes are stripped out. I can’t seem to see them when using “inspect element” and SEO tools are telling me I don’t have alt text for those photos.
Please advise.

I was probably not very clear on what I was looking for in my description of the issue.
I don’t mean about pagination between posts, but between pages in a list/smartlist within a post.
What I need to do is move the social buttons below the pagination within a post (e.g. Smartlist) so that the next buttons to the next page within the list appear below the social buttons). At the moment it seems like the pagination for the lists seems to be within the content though and I can’t work out how to move it as it doesn’t appear in the loop file.

This is because smart lists are a different type of posts. They are not a standard post and will ignore any at all post ads. That means the article top, article inline and article bottom ads will not show up when a smartlist is present. There are smartlist ads though in the theme panel ad section but not for all smart lists.

If you want to add a widget on a specific smart list you will have to add it in side the post content. If you want to insert it below the share button, this can only be done by editing the theme code.
You will have to edit the post template that you use. Each post style has it’s own file

However if you add a widget like so, it will show up on every post that shares the same post style no matter if it’s a smartlist or not. In this case you will have to use another function to wrap your code and make it apply to specific posts only:

The smart lists have a different implementation and different smart lists provide different results.
The description is not shown on any smartlist as it only shows up on attachment pages but the markup for the description is there.
Now i’m not sure exactly what the issue is. The description markup is there but the description itself is not shown on any smartlist or post at all because the description is only meant to show up on attachement page.
So my question is: Do you need the td_sml_description class or the description itself to show up on smartlists?
Description – This text can be displayed on the attachment page for your image. You can enter as much information as you want in the description field. Like the story behind a photograph, how you took the picture, or anything else that you want to share can go here. You can even add links in the description field

On the mobile theme there is no smartlist 7 or smartlist 1. It is a single smart list and it is called smartlist_mob. It may look similar to 7 though but it is not the same one.
For the ads, our theme provides ad spots for smartlists for desktop and mobile.
