I have found the bug!!! if a video title have strange character or html inside i have this error.
The script have a break in:

The theme is not 100% compatible with php7. However I have site running Newspaper with php7 and seems ok. I did check the code and ideally Tagdiv need to re-write 5 items which fail php7 compatibility.
They seem strangely reluctant. Even they they where among the first pushing how good their code was such it would run a faster site! Also it is only 5 items!!
Maybe more of us need to encourage them!

I have a static startpage, which normally includes a BigGrid, Textfield, Block 6 and Block 14.
If I open it now on a mobile device, there is a strange behaivor.
On the top featured posts are shown and at the bottom also the latest articles
Instead of the Big Grid (which is not possible to show on mobile theme as I read), the code of the Big Grid is shown
[td_block_big_grid_1 sort="featured"]
Same is for Block 6 and Block 14 which appears like
[td_block_6 custom_title="lorem ipsum" header_color="#5b5eba" category_id="30" sort="random_posts" limit="6"]
I already tried to disable all other plugins expect the approved ones.
Any idea how to avoid showing this lines?
Is it related to Visual Composer?

The problem seems to be generated by CDN. You can find a solution here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/ Also, if the problem will not be solved with this advice, please try to find other online solutions in this regard because the origin of this issue can be more complex and depends on a lot of things and it is not theme related.

1) The first issue is a fonts issue that happens when fonts are not loaded from the same source. Usually a cdn server creates this issue. Here is the fix that worked for most users: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
2) The hover color is determined by the theme accent color oir the block title color you set in visual composer.

Now, this is strange. I have tested with VC and Contact Form 7 active. No problems. So I thought that Contact Form 7 might have a conflict with one of my other plugins, not the theme as my first guess was (sorry for that!). Then I activated one plugin after the other but the issue with the menu and the header on desktop did not reappear. However, then I saw that the mobile menu didn’t work (wouldn’t open any pages, had additional arrow down buttons).
To me it seems that Contact Form 7 conflicts with WP Lightbox 2 (or the other way round). If I have both enabled, I have issues.
I will update another site with exactly the same configuration next week and see how that goes.

It looks like it updated itself. Sometimes it shows 0 then it shows the number. It’s strange.

The icons being replaced with Chinese characters has to do with fonts. The icons are added through a custom theme font. If the font is not loaded from the same source as the rest of the content, then this can happen. This usually happens when you serve 2 versions of your site through WordPress (a www. version and a non www version) or the most common cause of this issue a CDN server. please follow this topic for a possible fix: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/

Well you should not use the word bug looseley as most people tend to. A bug is something that happens to ALL of the users. We do not claim to be bug-free…far from it, but a major bug usually end up as the hottest topic on this forum. Whenever there is a major bug, you only need to access the forum and you will see lots of topics with the same issue. That is clearly a bug :). On your end this does not happen so I think it is safe to say that it is a local issue on your end. Probably a plugin conflict. If you have any further strange issues, the debugging starts with the plugins. Disable all plugins except visual composer, and very importantly: clear all caching, and purge cdn files if you use it. Then if the problem is still there, check for custom code in the theme panel, child theme or the theme files. If you use a chuild theme and want to debug an issue, it;s best to simply switch to the main theme for testing.
I hope this helps if not for this particular issue, but maybe for future ones.

After you cahnge this setting you will have to regenerate your thumbs. Also make sure you do not use any image optimization tools such as photon (jetpack feature)

Our theme does not change any setting automatically especially setting custom fonts. This is a strange issue indeed. The ads should also be working still as the ad implementation was not changed. My suspicion is you have an untested plugin that is no longer compatible in the latest version of our theme. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the site again.

That is strange because I did not manually change the fonts in the theme panel. It changed when the theme was updated.
Any ideas why the top sidebar ad is not visible after the update?

As for duplication, then of course it’s not cloning content (if you criticize), but in order to preserve the similarity of posts and not to re-enter headings, keywords, location h1-h6 I love & sharing social attributes.

Please first make sure your images are bigger than the thumb used in the big grid as the featured image is not enlarged by our theme, only cropped.

Google is very restrictive when it comes about mobile page speed and some things may be interpreted different then for desktop. The Speed Booster plugin does its job and moves those scripts at page’s bottom but it can’t change how google generate the reports. We know about this situation and indeed it’s very strange but we can’t do much about it. The theme and plugins control only page’s html, not google’s algorithm in page speed regard.

I noticed when I go to edit the home page, the visual composer section where all my layout should be is blank. If I switch to the classic editor I see my code:

I have newspaper theme v6.5 installed on my website. I am facing a strange issue on my website :
The sidebar has suddenly stopped showing up on the article detail page and also the app background is coming which i have not set in the admin panel. I have re-checked the settings and everything looks fine, but still this error is coming.
