Hi Bettina,
You currently can reproduce the problem when opening these two different pages directly from the Google SERPs, at least I can with incognito mode:
– https://tinyurl.com/4u83xw2r
– https://tinyurl.com/mpmtevue
I have attached two new full page screenshots for you for these two pages:
https://1drv.ms/i/s!AlQHsqtJGzeatY9lkO8LPT26n-sodg?e=wLnhz8
https://1drv.ms/i/s!AlQHsqtJGzeatY9mSXcAdYX9FRN83A?e=zaUWMr
Here is the tagdiv composer view for our posts template:
https://1drv.ms/i/s!AlQHsqtJGzeatY9kLtq2PHDsn4wmrQ?e=KE6lXv
The issue seems to be somewhat related to how “Googlebot smartphone” renders the pages and then stored some data which is now being used when users click on the Google SERPs.
This means the issue appears only for some pages when users come from Google, as some cached version or parts of the code (that had been served on a previous crawl) is being applied
If the user then reloads the affected page the problem disappears. All visits/loads that are not coming from Google appear to render the pages correctly – including from Bing SERPs
My assumption as of now is that some dynamically served image (container/element) code to “Googlebot Smartphone” sometimes produces a flawed cache result – which then affects desktop users when they visit the site from Google SERPs.
In the meanwhile I did some tests with the previously reported page:
– Doing a minor change on the affected article
– Reducing the featured image dimensions and saving the page
– Re-indexing it again manually via Google Search Console.
This removed the problem. But this could be just a random success as in general not all pages are affected.
Further changes I have implemented in an effort to fix things:
I added this custom CSS code to my wordpress theme to force a limit for maximum image size rendering on mobile devices, to target Googlebot smartphone which seems to have some rendering issues with the code it gets:
@media (max-width: 767px) { .tdb_single_featured_image img { width: 100% !important; max-width: 696px !important; height: auto !important; } }
Cannot edit anything on page gives error on the page refering to td-menu.php from error log managed to draw this link. what should I do to fix this. By the way all side bar commercials have moved somewhere down
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_menu.php error line 204
website is zmrxut.com
In WordPress you can edit posts with td-composer, or the default gutenberg editor, and if you have the classic editor pluging installed, you can still use the old classic editor from old wordpress (what we do here).
When you go to edit a post, there are little links below the post in the posts menu, to choose how to edit.
(I don’t work here.)
WHen I try and edit text to columns contnet the WP Editor doesn’t load.
I get a 403 error that ths plugin failed to load.
I have tried resetting permissions on our hosting. Is there anything else I can try
Hi there,
Have a problem with the table of contents on version 12.6.9.
First, I cannot control the show/hide labels through the composer. Second and worse, it writes a glitchy code on background like “” hide_table_content=”td_encvalW2dpemxlXQ==”]”. Please check my website to find out the issue correctly. https://corpusdergi.com/2025/almanya-secimleri/ or any “single” post.
Thanks.
Hi Bettina,
thanks for your respond.
hope these 3 images will illustrate what is not working and help to find a solution or fix.
I expect to see something like in this example from tagDiv:
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/category/podcasts/
Instead I see this and don’t find a way to fix it.
Showing within Edit TD Composer the element subcategories:
https://freeimage.host/i/3H22YhB
here you can see that the category has subcategories and individual subcategory image:
https://freeimage.host/i/3H227IV
this screenshot is prove that a subcategory has its own image and is displayed a sub-category template correct:
https://freeimage.host/i/3H22RmQ
It is identical with what tagDiv example is showing:
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/category/podcasts/sub-category-podcast-1/page/2/
As the first screenshot shows all images are the same, but under each image is a different subcategory-name listed
The image is not representing any subcategory, but instead the main category.
When removing that image from the main category, no image is showing in the element subcategories.
For some reason td composer subcategries images are not working right.It only shows one image for all the sub categories listed. The image that is shown is the image of the main category.
In Admin > Newspaper > Theme panel > categories
Each category and subcategory has its own background image
In TagDiv Composer
For the main category I got the cloud template: Category Template 33 – Parent – Podcasts.
the Subcategories item (element) is part of the template.
It is working as it should, except for the image.
It shows all subcategories names and descriptions correct, but only the image of the main category is showing for all subcategories.
When the image of the main category is remove in Theme panel > categories
no image is showing.
How can this be fixed?
Buen dia, por favor podrían ayudarme, puedo instalar el tema newsmag, también instalar sus plugins, pero cuando los quiero activar, todos se pueden menor el td_composer, mi página da error.
Hi Anamaria,
I already have the related section that you show in the screenshot on the website at the moment. These articles are matched based on tags/categories. However, this is not desirable because we use the tags and categories for multiple news items that have nothing to do with each other.
So I am actually looking for a way where I can link an article myself in a related articles section. Otherwise we have to create a tag for each topic and attach it to the flex block via TD Composer. I hope you understand me, it is difficult to explain.
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks for the reply. How can editors link articles here without going to the TD composer? Our editors only write and don’t know anything about technical stuff. I want them to be able to do everything from Gutenberg in the post editor.

Hi,
How can I make the TD composer elements “Single Post Author” and “Single Post Date” available for pages as well?
We need author attribution on some pages as well and the elements are not available.
Thanks
Hi Bettina,
No, the images have never changed this. Again, the only difference here is the extra piece of code “,“TDMAXWIDTH”:786}”.
It’s the same template, so the row size in TagDiv Composer is the same for both articles. Can you tell me where that “,“TDMAXWIDTH”:786}” is being set from and why it is suddenly appearing?
Thanks!
Hi,
After the last update, the search stopped showing the quick results, I think this has already been reported here and you are aware of the problem, but there is another problem that has been occurring for some time after some wordpress updates.
This problem is the mismatch of quick results in excluding results from categories that we don’t intend to appear in search, using plugins like https://pt.wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/
It used to work, but it stopped working, it only works in the final results of the page in “domain/?s=”.
I also take this opportunity to inform you that the file footer.php in the plugins/td-composer/mobile/ folder, has an extra blank line after the code “</html>”
Thank you
Hello There,
While I am editing any page in td composer, it is showing 404, although the page is there
Hi,
Ok. Please let me know the results.
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
Thank you!
Page speed on my website is 70 performance on page speed (https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-brain3r-com/yrpdvf2sej?form_factor=mobile)
My server support says tagdiv composer plugin is causing website to be very slow and provided with a slowlog
See the slowlogs on this link: https://jmp.sh/s/HAlWSkUTD77lgL4lBf3w
Do you see any errors in the slowlog?
Hello,
Please delete this https://prnt.sc/GLKTT79nJDeh from this path
wp-content\plugins\td-composer\legacy\Newspaper
Thank you!
Hi,
I am trying to create an mega menu using a private page. On that private page i created an tabbed content module using 4 other pages with Style 2 – Tabs on the left. The problem is that this brakes the tagdiv composer and i am not able to edit other pages. If i disable the mega menu, everythings works just fine. I am thinking that the problem is private page in private page or something like that.
One solution i’ve figured out is disabling the header and footer section on all pages when i am editing the page with TagDiv Composer. I am saying this beacuse the Header Template is perfectly editable even if i have tabbed content.
Is there a way i can disable editing the header when i am editing the homepage for example?
Long story short, i need a solution for tabbed content with tabs on the left, but i need this to be in an mega menu.
Also, the error i am geting in the TD Composer is this one:
Errors at columns: 3(models) : 14(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Thanks,
What we actually do here is edit the views module file inside td-composer to match our existing custom field (in our case existing field for 10+ years is “views”). Have to remember to edit on each update, but it’s what we do.
Apologies, I don’t recall the exact file path.
Oh, sorry; this fix we do with newsmag, not newspaper; might be entirely different file location.
Hello,
1. Please disable the tagdiv mobile theme and clear the cache or do you want to use mobile theme?
You can set this code for icon
.td-search-icon
{
right:300px!important;
}
2. When the mobile theme plugin is used, you need to set for pages the page content in the mobile editor using only the options from that editor – https://i.imgur.com/p8EqE1b.png. also, there is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png. This option appears in the Gutenberg editor. After you disable the mobile theme on the page, you can assign the mobile page.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/
3. You need to set on each social icons the links, or you can copy the element with right-click and paste where you want to have social icons on the frontend https://i.imgur.com/bU8mAX3.jpeg
Thank you!

Hello,
Yesterday I updated the Newspaper theme to version 12 from version 9 on my company’s website http://www.tecnaplastics.com.
It took some time to update the pages layout because some of the older blocks did not work in the recent version. Everything seems fine from the pages (homepage and other pages of the website) but when I click on a single post I get a screen that reports several errors:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: single_template_1 is not set.
/web/htdocs/www.tecnaplastics.com/home/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php

/web/htdocs/www.tecnaplastics.com/home/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
wp_booster error:
The path of the single_template_1 template not found. Did you disable a tagDiv plugin?
/web/htdocs/www.tecnaplastics.com/home/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
wp_booster error:

/web/htdocs/www.tecnaplastics.com/home/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
I also tried to add a completely new post (created with the new version of the theme already installed, while the rest of the) but I get the errors also in this case.
The site is now in “under construction mode”.
Thank you in advance,
Claudia Bosco
Heh. Well, we’re old, and using WordPress since 2004.
In our case we have couple of high traffic sites, one online since 2000 as a newwire service.
For the Tagdiv sites, we actually have WP-PostViews installed, but not active, as this generated a custom field “views” and then we hack the views file in td-composer to change the TD views field to “views”. We then use the TD counter, but turn off extraneous things like most popular, popular 7 days, random views, and views are OFF everywhere except the actual posts — not on any modules. (We want to use a custom field “views” so that the counter is evergreen and agnostic and not tied to theme.)
On the other site, we turn off TD views entirely, and use the WP-PostViews plugin and insert the template code at bottom of the main post template file we’re using for posts.
Each of those sites have 768M allocated.
Your mileage may vary. But turning off a lot of “tricky” things visitors don’t really care about will lower your “query load” and that also speeds up the whole site.

Hello,
Please let me know what prebuilt website you installed, default pro or default RTL pro: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_default_rtl_pro/
The title of the posts you need to edit in the Gutenberg, and the names of the blocks you can edit with composer to change them https://i.imgur.com/uFWr8tG.png
For social icons you can use this code
.tdm_block_socials
{
text-align: left!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
If you need to make an update, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
