Calin I need your help for unused css and javascript. I have tried a lot but I am not able to get the actual unused css and js out. I also tried to get it out by going to Google Chrome DevTools Coverage and implemented it. My website is completely breaking. I have also used some website like PurgeCSS, UnCSS Online, CSS-Remove, PageSpeed ​​Insights. Some plugins like Asset CleanUp and many more. So can you please provide me the unused CSS or JS for my website which is not being used so that my problem will be solved or you have any other option which can help me to solve this problem?

Hi and thanks for your answer and that is terrible news because that limits what I want to do with my site. So, I switcehd to PODS and this works fantastic but tagdiv’s Newspaper theme is preventing me to apply basic things such as sorting on date.

My goal is to display custom song entries on a page and have them sorted by release date, from newest to oldest. However, I’ve encountered several issues trying to get this to work properly within the theme’s constraints.

I have a custom post type for songs, and I’m using a PODS template to output the data. I want to order the songs by release date in the template itself. However, any shortcode-based sorting or manipulation with the orderby parameter doesn’t seem to work with this theme. It appears that the theme’s Td Composer framework conflicts with typical shortcode functionality, especially for things like orderby. To avoid further issues, I’ve switched to using the “Single External Shortcode” method, but I’m still unable to apply ordering directly in the PODS template itself.

Is there a way to enforce the sorting (new to old) directly within the PODS template without relying on shortcodes? I have tried both {@post_date} and {@release_date}, but without success. Any suggestions or workarounds that you can provide would be extremely helpful, especially considering the limitations posed by the TagDiv Newspaper theme.

I’ve already enabled magic tags in shortcodes by adding define(‘PODS_SHORTCODE_ALLOW_EVALUATE_TAGS’, true); to my wp-config.php, which helped with other functionality, but this sorting issue persists.

I have figured out one of these problems — the not being able to save anything. I had to go back to PHP 7.4 (down from 8.1). I can now save things.

– I have applied the changes, changed the footer to a simpler one as well. After applying the suggestions the pagespeed metrics have gotten considerably worse. I have gone from 93 in the metrics to 74 on desktop and it has dropped to 54 on mobile. I’ve updated on the live site now, and commenting out that function also removes the first error, the wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_res_context is not set.

This doesn’t work because, as I was saying, the access token is hardcoded in the td_video_support.php file.

Please check lines 157-195 of wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_video_support.php (version Newsmag 5.4.3.1) to understand how the video embed code is being generated. Access token is hardcoded in line 14.

When a post is loaded, the theme performs an HTTP request that looks like this:

The access_token parameter is taken from td_video_support.php line 14. The result is “API access deactivated. To reactivate, go to the My Apps page to unarchive it.” so the video is not displayed.

That access token was presumably created by a Newsmag developer and was later deactivated or removed. The access token must be reenabled by the developer, or a new access token should be created and pushed as an update, or an option for the theme user to provide his own access token should be added (like with YouTube, where you can provide your own API access token).

If I disable the custom plugin, and therefore the widget, and call get_footer() I get these php errors, not sure if this helps you?

Thanks for your response. That does remove that error message, but I’m still getting wp_booster error:

when i make the change I get this message “td_block.php js_tdc_get_composer_block – callbackDelete(tdi_1_ddd) – td_block base callback runned”, but no error untill i try to save the content and I get the error “save_post – ERROR and on network” and on the preview i see “Enable JavaScript and cookies to continue”.
I have tryied to follow your suggestion but the problem is still on.
