Yeah, actually I edited the composer parts like that. But I cannot reach “smart sidebar” whics is scrolling with the page simultaneously via TD Composer. I couldn’t find a way to change the layout of this. I want to change it if I can.
As you can see, there is actually no option. I would love to change all thumbnails to 16:9 format.
Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are not using our theme, sorry! If you have created your homepage with WPBackery might be possible to appear some errors, sorry! Note that we recommend using our TD Composer functionality and also, the page should have to be created with that plugin. In the past, if you were used another theme and now, if you want to migrate it to our theme, could appear some issues and that’s why you will have to recreate your pages.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
The path for the play icon is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/images/icons/ico-video-large.png you can change the icon if you want, just set the same name for the new icon.
Thank you!
so i can’t get back into TD Composer. if i look at the code in the basic WordPress edit, the code has turned into a pile of letters. i can remove those, and get back into TD Composer, but when i try again with the Raw HTML, I get the same issue. can’t get back in again. why is this happening and what can i do?
well dang. it seemed to be working, but now when i try to go to TD Composer for my home page, it doesn’t load. I get this error, “Errors at columns elements: 1(models) : 2(dom). The model does not match the content”. seems i’m stuck.
if i can’t do 3 blocks at the top with the TD Composer, each block linking to different category pages, do you suggest I just code them with HTML to give the look of the lifestyle magazine theme, yet linking to category pages instead of post pages?
Hello – I’ve created a page where I have one large single image at the top and I’d like to add several images in a row beneath that. I’d also like to have a sidebar on this page.
When I originally create the single image and the sidebar, it looks fine (though there is some white space underneath). https://www.screencast.com/t/luS2gURONen
However, when I add a row below this single image via TD composer and attempt to add images, I get a large blank space between the rows. https://www.screencast.com/t/ccKmlekYIocO and https://www.screencast.com/t/bHhjQeAqo6U.
I tried to assign sidebars on the Page Template settings but I received the error “While using a pagebuilder sidebar settings are not available”
Could you let me know what I am doing wrong? Thank you.
When using 9.7.3, and attempting to recreate the Flex Slider setup in Classy Magazine demo, putting the margin of the meta info at -50px to get it to overlap the post picture just will not work. Have traced it down to line 4091…
.td_module_wrap.td-meta-info-hide .td-module-meta-info {
min-height: 1px;
margin-top: -4px;
}
The margin-top: -4px; is not being superseded by the -50px auto 0px I’ve inserted into “meta info margin” in TD composer. Should this line be removed in style.css? I really don’t like removing lines because things get broken when an update comes out, but there’s really no way to overwrite it in a child theme, is there? What’s the issue here?
2 questions, first how to delete the latest articles two columns with black background header line. It’s located above the footer section, I could not delete it with TD composer, it is not part of tdc_zone i guess. second How to delete empty column it is taking space in layout, thanks
Getting this error while I am previewing my blog post.

Thank you.
Hello,
It’s impossible for me to use TD Composer to change infos on my Homepage https://www.digitalbusiness.africa/.
But online, the homepage appears very well. In back office, nothing. Precision: We’ve created this homepage yesterday with TD Composer. Here are the messages we received when trying to use TD Composer on that homepage : “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”
“Error at rows: 6(models) : 7(dom). The model does not match the content”
Please how can I fix the problem without creating a new homepage ? Thanks in advance!
Fixed by bringing on an old revision.
However, if I try to edit the page via tdComposer, I get the following error:
Errors at columns: 2(models) : 8(dom). The model does not match the content

I have accessed the site via FTP and still am not able to see a Legacy folder within plugins/td-composer. I’ve looked in other td-composer sub-folders (includes, assets, etc.) pretty deep to see if somewhere else, but no luck. Suggestions?
how to use WPBakery Page Builder or TD Composer to edit store products?

I got the following email from WordPress regarding TD Composer. What’s the issue?
Hi @JKLFab,
I think that you have an older version of theme, you need to click on the row, hold and drag to the right bottom corner -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0WaIu9kf for the elements should be a delete icon on the row – http://prntscr.com/mn20di
Also please check this topic -. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-delete-a-td-composer-empty-column/
Thank you!
Hello !
The .php is located inside the td-composer plugin like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/IWc5sVeW
Thank you !
Fresh install on fresh wordpress, theme installs with no issues, however, upon activation of the TagDiv Composer, the entire site goes down and I get an error: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
Upon further investigation I am getting this dump from the server:

Hi Simon, my theme is the latest 9.7.3. The real problem is that in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/style.css, I see this:
/*
Theme Name: Newspaper
Theme URI: http://tagdiv.com
Description: Premium WordPress template, clean and easy to use.
Version: __td_deploy_version__
Author: tagDiv
Author URI: http://themeforest.net/user/tagDiv/portfolio
Looks like __td_deploy_version__ didn’t get replaced by the actual version information?
Thanks,
Alex
Vlad,
This is another example of you not even reading the support question. He is asking how to speed up the Admin Area TagDiv Composer, NOT the actual frontend of the site. Suggesting him to measure his page speed and follow some generic tips is a waste of his time.
Byzmo,
First thing I would do is try to disable all plugins to make sure there isn’t another plugin causing the slowdown. If there is not, another item I would look at is your current hosting plan. I would try to increase the memory allocated to wordpress admin take a look at https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP you can add a define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' ); to your wp-config.php and see if that helps. And finally, since TD Composer is all javascript, another thing would be to check your browser extensions or to try a different browser to see if that increases your speed at all.
Hey there, let me know your URL of your site and I can send you the snippet of CSS to add to your theme to reduce the spacing. TagDiv support has gone down hill drastically. I too have spent hundreds with TagDiv and have over 30 clients using the Newspaper theme. With their latest version of the TD Composer plugin were nothing can be overwritten, due to poor decisions made by their developers, and their sheer lack of support, I am looking at alternatives as well.
Hi,
You can insert the code here in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Pi0UIHhu but for what is that code? maybe this can be set in other ways.
Thank you!
Hi,
4. When the mobile theme is enabled, you will have to create 2 versions for each page. One for desktop with the composer or in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor (can’t be built with the composer)
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Mobile pages will be empty if no content is added in the mobile editor found in the page edit screen (should be at the bottom)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sE6as7bJLAq
An exception is the mobile homepage which will show a top grid displaying featured posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Below it there will be a latest articles section.
If the mobile theme is not active, then the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobiles as well.
5. The issue with the logo seems to be caused by the speed booster plugin, after deactivating the check. The desktop logo shouldn’t appear on mobile. I could give you a quick fix for it – http://prntscr.com/ny8l6j
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo {
display: none!important;
}}
The code can be entered in the theme panel, custom CSS section.
The scroll to top arrow displays when the mobile theme is active. In the default responsive version it doesn’t appear – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/scroll-to-top-mobile/
I believe this will be changed in a future update, so that it will appear by default in the responsive version as well.
