There are some issues with the latest theme version. These issues are not general, they only happen in some specific cases. We are trying to identify these circumstances and make changes in the theme. A theme update will soon follow, hopefully at the beginning or as late as the middle of the next week.
If you updated the theme and theme plugins and there are issues, please consider reverting to theme version 8.6.
If you are using 8.6 please use that until we release the new update. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused for you.

Please notice that our theme does not have any such a problem after theme update, sorry! Most likely, this issue happens only on your part because before to launch the new update, the theme was fully tested and was not encounter this type of issue, sorry! Update again the theme via FTP way, clear all the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. I just downloaded the zip file from themeforest. There’s no patch_8.6_8.7 inside. Only 8.7_8.7.1. Here’s a screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/yaar1muhp/.
Please provide me the right zip file somehow so I can update the theme using patch folders only.
Is there a way to release in a future theme update for the live search to work in the sidebar widget?
I’m about to add some things to the menu and even with reduced font it won’t fit due to the search icon in the main menu.
Also looks nicer having the search bar in the widget. However live search is such a great feature.

There are some issues with the AMP plugin, mainly the validator or testing tools detect a few instances of !important tag used and inline attributes in some cases. These are not allowed in AMP pages. We will fix these issues among others, and a new theme update will be released as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Reset to TwentySeventeen – everything OK.
Restored Newspaper 8.6 – everything OK.
As soon as I update to Newspaper 8.7.1 – WordPress Dashboard breaks.

The weather widget is not loading either on the homepage. Can that be tipping its hat as to what may be causing the problem? Bc the site used to work perfectly – until the update.

Hi, every time I make modifications to my site, such as editing the sidebar content, installing a plugin, etc, it takes minutes, if not hours for the website to update publicly–especially in desktop viewing. This is after I included the newsletter block on my website, after the latest theme update.

I’ve read a few posts here about blank admin issue when activating TD Composer in v.8.7.1. Is this a known issue and is a fix expected? I need to create about 25 pages that I had started before this update, and now I’m stuck. I can revert back to v 8.6, but will eventually want to update and already suspect that I’ll need to reformat several elements on these pages (for example, titles no longer centered in new version). Trying to figure out a new timeline. Please advise.

When I create a page with tagDiv Composer all goes well until I save the changes in the composer and add a feature image or some info for SEO Yoast and save the draft. If I go back all disappeared (no HTML code in it).
I installed the latest version of the theme 8.7.1 and updated the TD composer to 2.1 but I still have the same issue.
