Regular social icons on TOPBAR before update to 8.5 looked good. After update they act strange. When I click reload page or go to another page, the time when page loads, some japan or china signs can be seen instead of icons. What is the problem? I know most of you might think that it is not a problem but it looks really shitty for me and users.

The problem occurs exactly as the triowebdev explained above and in all his reports in this post. We’re referring to WordPress’s native feature of embedding social networking links directly into the text editor of the post to import photo, text or any content posted on these social networks, in my case the problem affects embedded Instagram links.

When I saw the triowebdev report, which was great at finding the cause of the problem, I decided to test its hint and tried something similar on line 2174 of the file:
…/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php
Default: $ content_width = 696;
To: $ content_width = 690;
After changing the parameter from 696 to at least 690, all old instagram posts will automatically reappear on the site.
I saw then that this theme file was changed in one of the updates earlier this year. Before this parameter was 640, and it must have been from there that the problem that we are suffering presented itself.
While this has worked, I fear that this change might break some of the other function of the theme, so I would like your support to see if this is the best way to work out the solution and ask for an effective fix to this issue in the next updates.

First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Most likely, your PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot say anything. Also, if you like and if you want to use that demo, you simply import it from Theme panel, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ Also, if you have your content you should import it without dummy data because the theme will recognize all of your content which has been loaded into your database. Before each theme install or update, the full backup is fully required to be made to avoid losing your data.

The Newsmag theme does not yet have this feature. I don’t understand exactly what you would like to do. There is an option to set a video background don rows, by video ID. In the row any element can be placed. Add a text element if that is what is needed.
Be sure to check the new multi-purpose elements added in the update as well.

If I set my addresses on WP general settings as ‘http’ instead of ‘https’, the right page is loaded. But, this is the ‘unsecure’ version of my website. How can I have this theme on the https version?
Whan I use Newspaper V8.2 the score was good.. and the blog incridebly fast. But after updated to V8.5 the score was bad in PageSpeed Insight and GTMetrix. here is my blog url https://irfan.id/.

In the meantime please edit the tds_api.php file found in the plugins directory->td-multi-purpose->styles, replace all the existing code with this one

The search button is located at the bottom of the menu on the left side.
and the plug-in tagDIV Multi-Purpose, supposedly giving a conflict with the theme.
or better, when the Multi-Purpose tagDIV plugin is activated it does disappear the “Save” button the settings
and the theme panel becomes gray when the plugin is active.
When the Multi-Purpose tagDIV plugin is disabled, the panel returns to its normal color and the “save” button becomes active.
I uninstalled some plugins to see if it was giving some conflict with some third-party plugins
nothing different happened, continued to give the same problem.
I reinstalled Theme NewsPapers twice and nothing happened either
he still has the same problem.

Did you do search/replace in your post meta to update all http links to images and whatnot to https? Update theme panel settings for logos, etc., to https? That stuff impacts moving to https a lot!

After updating to 8.5 the sidebar is not visible in the pages of my site. However, that option is enabled in the theme panel; also, that option is not displayed in the edition of the same page.
