Indeed! I think that’s a big downside of this otherwise good theme. I just switched to TD Composer and still evaluating whether it is a good move.
With this major 8.5 update you can enlarge the content but as I am asking above, it is not clear how to enlarge the rest accordingly. Let us wait for a reply.

Our recommended way for updating your theme is via FTP way because this is the surest method.
Also keep in mind:
FTP always best way to update; and you must always DELETE the original theme folder, then upload new one; *NOT* over-write as you end up with old/new files mixed together â this is not how WordPress is designed to work. Same with plugins. All plugins when updated via the WP admin panel *delete* old folder then upload *new* one; not merge or over-write/mix them.
Notice that you can automatically update your theme using the Envato Market plugin, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ but we do not recommend to do this. Our recommended way for theme installing is via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard and in that way you will avoid eventual problems which might appear.

Hello thank you guys for keeping this theme up to date and for all the new features. However, we are not ready to go through a huge update process. After reviewing the change log I noticed that there was an update in August for XSS security is there a way to access an older version of the theme specifically that particular release? Or could I be provided with the files to update the security of the theme as we are still on 8.1

I have updated Newsmag theme and it stopped to display new posts on the homepage. When I re-save the page then it shows the new posts but on after sometime it hides the new ones and displays again the older posts on the homepage.

Could it be that you have not updated the Visual Composer plugin? I have not updated it since I updated the theme editor.

Along with greeting your team, we bought this newspaper 8 theme and we use the demo: Default Demo
-We wish to modify the names of categories entries, but they are only changed in the topic panel but it is not updated in the web page.
-As we can start the store on the web page, since it is created in a page creation system and added to the menu, but there is no such virtual store on the website.
. We add new entries but they are not reflected in the website.
.Also, when you change the Theme in install demo to see another option, all the information that had been previously entered was deleted, since the content include option was checked.

Updated to version 8.5, and now comments don’t show on pages anymore. Theme panel option for not showing comments on pages is not activated so they should show.

I just got a note from ThemeForest about available update for âNewspaperâ version 8.5.
I have bought âNewspaperâ version 8.2 two days ago and I have upgraded from ver 7.7 and had to face a lost of all Widget setups (as they disappeared from Newspaper Default Section and Footer) and I would like to avoid this situation when I upgrade from ver 8.2 to 8.5.
Is that possible?
