Hi tagdiv team,
I see that the theme has so many diverse features..you tried to add lot of accessory features too ..but i dont understand why you left the most basic thing to implement for the theme i.e. Ajax navigation for posts , tags ,categories pages…[i know abt the one thats in visual composer but visual composer is not used on each & every page like categories,tags pages ] Every time a visitor clicks on next page numbers, the whole content [css,js,etc..] gets loaded ..In Ajax just that part of the page is loaded rest of the stuff like sidebars,header,footer stays . I am sure i dont need to explain abt the benefits of using ajax.
I request you to implement this feature in next update.
Also Is there a way currently i can implement the ajax for the above type posts in the theme ?
Anyone know where can I find a documentation to update the revslider plugin?
Thank you, Bogdan, for carefully checking the patch and releasing the correct version of the patch. I am sure you must have updated the “download” section of Envato store too for new users who are downloading the patch now.
Though I finally had to delete the old theme and then re-install the new one and then have to do all customizations manually again. 🙂

1. I removed all the css related to the icon, but it’s not centered.
Please note I’m on an old Newspaper version. I say because when I first installed your theme I had to ask the support to center my logo. The staff gave me a custom css which I don’t understood but it worked.
2. Could you tell me how to do it simply with custom css. Since I’m still on Newspaper 4.6.1

Hi, I am having various problems with the page lately, also I can’t find a solution in the support page.

1. The logo on the sticky menu disappeared and I can’t do it to function again.
2. I am having problems with the header style : “Hybrid menu on right with logo” the image always appears very tiny or to big or doesn’p appear.
and
3. The Slider doesn’t appear (slider revolution) in firefox or occasionally on chrome.
All this things were functionally but in the last week stopped working

Please make sure you updated the theme properly via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. Recently learned of a great website that compresses images perfectly: https://tinyjpg.com/
Having backed up all of my websites using FTP access, I took EVERY image and uploaded them to this compressing image site, one folder’s worth at a time.
Then saved the compressed images in new appropriately named folders and CAREFULLY uploaded to overwrite the images on the server. This took me days to complete but it saved my hosting server sooooo much room it wasn’t funny.
Also … installed WP Optimize plugin and cleaned out EVERY revision ever made to EACH website saving even MORE server space. One site alone saved 46.2MB another 10.3MB … yes, MegaBites.
Once you’ve completed your clean up be sure to deactivate and remove this plugin until next cleaning. Extra plugins will cause your server to slow down too so there is no need to leave this one installed.
Am guessing others are now experiencing the same Resources Limit Reached prompts that made me go looking for a new theme … as old themes that have not been updated and fully optimized will also bog down a server.

We are not reluctant to implement these fixes. I already stated in multiple threads that we are working on this as we speak. I’m not sure where people are getting this idea. We are working on a fix and we will add PHP 7 support. It just needs to be tested thoroughly though and this take time. Please be patient and wait for future updates where we will announce the compatibility for PHP 7. I would like to say it will be out in the next update but unfortunately if something happens and we will not be able to release it by then, it will not be ok so I cannot say for certain it will be in the next update or not but we will do our best to implement it as soon as we can.

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. Then test again. If the problem is still there, please delete your theme and install it again by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Choose the ftp method and also delete the theme manually via ftp as there is a bug in the current version of WP that might prevent you from deleting any theme from the wp dashboard.

Have tried different custom css codes to no avail and Newsmag has exaggerated EVERY blockquote used on EVERY page and post within my website.
My website blockquotes need to be indented slightly (if possible), and of a somewhat different font type and size but NOT centered and certainly NOT the exaggerated font size now locked into this theme.
Have had to re-activate using an older theme that displays everything perfectly, but isn’t touch-device-friendly. This theme was purchased here too … and sadly, never updated.
Usable css coding would make using your theme a whole lot more feasible … heeeeeelp … please?

I re-updated all of newspaper files (not only update) still got that error

UPDATE: Glad to say that Pinterest solved my problem. Everything is looking normal again. So no more ‘name’ instead of the title in my Rich Pins. I don’t know what they did, but when I contacted support they replied that everything was ok on my end and that the problem was on Pinterests end.

Hi,
I want to download the latest update for the theme on my iPad, but when I go to the Downloads page on my account and I select ‘Installable WordPress file’ from the download drop down menu it doesn’t seem to work/install anything.
Am I able to do this on an iPad or is it only possible on a laptop/MacBook?

The patch was tested and it works properly. We have not found the cause of this error for now. but the td_options is not part of the theme update.
We have tested the patch on multiple machines and it worked as expected on all of them.
ALso there is another issue that seems to show up now and then. It’s a new anti-virus that hosts seem to start using:
Please check your server if you have ClamAV antivirus.
