Thanks for the quick reply chris and andrei, first of all, I have updatet from 2.2 Newsmag to 2.3.5 newsmag. I have just reverted, to make sure I am not nuts ^^ If so, please excuse me, as it was a long week for me 🙂

Well, what I am trying to say is, that on version 2.2 when I go -> Posts -> All Posts with the list of all my posts 🙂 I see “title”, “Author”, “Catagory”, “Tag” and so on. There are NO views of the specific post in a column. So far so good. When I switch to newsmag version 2.3.5 there is appearing a column with the total views of the post.

So maybe it is my fault, I am not saying, I am a 100% sure, but when I try to investigate that column in my google chrome it is saying: td_post_views in class: manage-column column-td_post_views, since “td” is the kind of shortage u are using in the theme I figured, it is a feature that was implemented between version 2.2 and 2.3.5.

So I came straight here to ask, where and how I am deactivating this, since I dont want to show the views on my “all posts” page. If I am totally wrong that it has something to do with the theme, I am sorry for bothering, but maybe you can point my to the right direction.

To make sure I am a 100% clear now (sry for my english) I have uploaded a screenshot

I love this theme, but this is my #1 annoyance, the changelogs, blog, etc. are way out of date and there is zero way to know what’s included in any of these updates.

Unfortunately the theme does not look at the author name when a search it’s made. The theme consider only the post title and post content when returns the results of a search.
We consider changing this implementation in future updates but I can’t say at the moment how much how much will take until we can find a solution because we have a long implementation list and we take them one by one.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using an older version of the theme. Try to update the theme at the current version available on themeforest, V 2.3.5: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ clear all caches and test again.

The theme doesn’t have an option to set a different page for mobiles, sorry. We plan to improve the mobile theme in a future update but for now I cannot say when this will be implemented. At the moment the theme does not display ads in smart-list post content. We will include this option in next theme update. Meanwhile to have the article bottom ad displayed in smart-list 2 you can edit the td_smart_list_2.php and add this line of code here: http://screencast.com/t/1baqQWuAvyD

Or, would we want to just make a new function like AMP_counter and put in functions file, which calls all the update_post_views stuff,

then do something like

do_action( 'amp_post_template_head', 'process_AMP_counter' );

Hello there! I did not have the Ajax View Count on!!! Have done so now and am hoping all will be well; I have done the whole visual composer, clearing cache etc, but that didn’t work, so I don’t think it’s a plugin, although I may be wrong. Will keep you updated! Thanks so much.
