You can sort the articles displayed in big grid using his filter: http://screencast.com/t/CdH5pqM3O but it doesn’t have an option to apply different filter on the article displayed in it, to put for example in module mx5 (the one from the left) one filter and on the other for mx6 modules a different filter, the theme doesn’t provide that option. You will need custom modification to achieve that functionality and unfortunately we cannot offer any custom work at the moment, as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

Update: The same issue is with Internet Explorer too.

You need to use the code from this thread to add the elements to your htaccess file as that is how you specify the “time to live” (expiration headers) — so that browsers know to cache info not updated regularly (like CSS or fonts), and not ask for it every time page loads. See first page of this topic 🙂

ACF5 is pretty good and fully updated for all the latest WP stuff properly.

The theme uses the old api from vimeo to get the thumbs sizes and the titles for the video from playlist. That api won’t allow getting any information from private videos. Getting information about private videos requires the use of new api from vimeo, and also implementing the OAuth authentication system. Those changes involve custom work and unfortunately we cannot offer it as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. My advice it’s to look for a professional developer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/ to do it for you as involve good coding skills.

You can chose the grid’s style from big grid settings in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/pZgc5OGXXaB Notice that we added the new grids in version 2.1 of the theme, so make sure you use unless that version, otherwise try to update the theme at the current version available on themeforest which it’s v 2.2. Also check in Visual Composer settings if all blocks are selected: http://screencast.com/t/GkdCIwWZ

Multumesc pentru sugestie, am adaugat-o pe lista noastra de si vom tine cont te ea in cazul in care vom decide sa adagam functionalitati noi pentru sistemul de share in viitoarele update-uri ale temei.
Tema nu are o optiune sa afisese pe pagini butoanele de share disponobile pe posturi, pentru a le afisa ai nevoie de modificai in codul temei.
Folosind div-urile temei poti ascunde si alte tipuri de ad-uri, doar ca vor fi ascunse nu dezactivate, in functie de device, ai nevoie sa folosesti si custom css similar cu solutia oferita aici: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/show-non-google-ads-without-modifying-code/#post-58324 Pentru Newsmag trebuie folosit acest css:

This is the process I went to update theme…

Deactivated Revslider, Js Composer, Social Counter

Reuploaded those plugins via FTP overwrite.

Uploaded all patch files (some files were missing like td_api were not in the patch directory, noticed after upload and simply just reuploaded the whole theme folder skipping exisiting files.

I had my managed team revert the server back to last night. Lost a few posts this morning but good thing it’s a holiday and traffic is slow 😉

I would really like to have one of your specialists work with us to get this updated.

Is there any direct contact email I can give you a shout from? I dislike sharing my site name on theme support forums as they tend to be a trolling ground for malicious folks to gather info of certain sites running certain themes and create a database of them for future attacks.

Perhaps an option on the forums is to allow post author to select private post only for admins to see.

Hmmm, scratch that, update to latest newspaper update seems to have sorted it.

So I’ve read for hours and see others with the same problem:

Yes I can see the console shows an error as missing font file. But the files are in the correct directory and uploaded as binary. They are not missing.

Wow, thank you so much for pointing out where to find the code! I will first try to accomplish this myself since I’ve been learning Javascript / JQUERY slowly while recovering from a spinal surgery.

I love your theme and I am really impressed with your thorough reply. I’ve never gotten a reply like this before. Your update makes your theme, in my opinion, the best magazine theme on the web. The options allow for such a wide variety of ways to create channels, unique posts, and I LOVE the listing feature.

I have interns who do the writing, but I handle all the video posts.

This is not working in 6.4 Update …Can you please look at this …

Like the guy on Newspaper them who was “furious” over problem, and got all sorts of support, turned out it was issue with Cloudflare. Wow, huge time waster for TagDiv.

Okay no problem but I hope that wasn’t meant towards me because I did that in this forum and this is Newsmag not Newspaper. I was not that furious either.

I know that Tagdiv said they would continue to offer us support but I also did not know this forum was separate from Envato, since we really have to go to Envato to get to it or put it as a bookmark on browser or straight from themepanel.

There is this thing called purchase code too. Still is being tracked by Envato even if this forum is 3rd party. Not trying to be a d*ck. I am just not made out of money. I pay for one theme then all of a sudden Envato wants more. I should be upset.

One theme and that does not mean, well he did not pay enough, now lets ask for more. I understand authors paying for support but there is a difference from authors saying they are charging and then Envato saying they are making the authors charge. Authors saying is better than a marketplace doing it for them.

Does not bother me if Tagdiv actually says they would do it on this 3rd party forum because it is coming from them but Envato is making it look as they are trying to suck as much as possible and this sure sounds like vampires without the blood sucking.

Their taking the authors share. I am just informing about what Envato is doing so Tagdiv knows but since everyone here is acting like there is nothing to worry about. I will just forget this ever happened or even just not come in the forums at all.

I hardly ask serious stupid questions, like some I have read in here. So making me feel bad for something I hardly do, does not help anything either.

The main reason I come to these forums is to see if I can offer some help but that looks as I am more a problem than a help or I just stepped on your territory Chris.

If my opinions or willing to try to help in these forums are being a problem or I really stepped on you territory then say so. I will never come back here again and just let you guys do what you do without me and I will just update the theme when they are available. Sounds like that is what you want here.

Giving information about changes to Envato bothers people that they rather not hear it, then I can stop that too. Let you all find out yourselves then.

I have disabled and deleted the Speed Booster plugin. I still get “wp booster error messages” on live site for various categories. Any help will be highly appreciated please!
