Glad that it works! I will add this on suggestions list and the developers will that it in considerations for future updates, unfortunately for version 6 of the theme they took decision to not implement this for blocks/modules. But like I said we will consider to re-add this in a future update.

Sorry for delay! We answer to the most oldest topics so if you add a new reply we get later to your topic.

1. We removed the quotes shortcodes, we use html with classes now. The quotes are not updated by the script, sorry. We tried to add them but on some cases there was a chance for errors to appear an we decided to not include them in the script.

2. There is an option to change the blockquote color in Theme Panel > Theme Colors – http://screencast.com/t/GaVyoCu2xcU
3. You can change the hover color using custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/1BPyH3KM

4. You can change the general color for post content links using custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/26hujdCrvc

5. If you refer to the panel options for page content – http://screencast.com/t/T1GXLsNq1 please note that these options will not affect any page template created using pagebuilder(Visual Composer). Please provide a link and more details about what you are trying to do.

6. Do you refer to the lazy load effect? you can remove it from Theme Panel > Template Settings – http://screencast.com/t/dg4jDDqg7oI

Please try to update the Visual Composer plugin I see that you use an old version. The latest version of the plugin provide with the theme files is 4.6.2 please check this guide to update – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Then check your site again on Safari and see if you still have this issue(check this like I said above without any plugins active, just VC) also clear cache.
I have checked your site on Safari and you have this issue with the menu item, but I could not find exactly the cause, I suspect that it is a plugin as this is not happening on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ If you still have this issue please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.

Hi,

I guess that Christopher referred that you need to redo some settings when you update the theme. Some on modules/blocks or widgests don’t exist anymore for example search module – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/search-not-displaying-results/ Also you will have to re-add the widgets to your sidebars, as they will become inactive.
The import script does the following operations:

• Imports the old settings to the new theme
• Renames all the shortcodes from your pages to the new names
• Imports all the sidebars
• Renames all the widgets from the sidebars to the new names

Regarding WordPress update, it should not affect your settings, but it is recommended to backup your site – https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress

Hi,

Please make sure that you do a clean install of Newspaper 6 like it is suggested in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ as no old theme’s files should remain. Please note that Newspaper 6 is practically a new theme, all the code was rewritten and the old customizations(files customizations, custom css) will not work anymore. Please make sure that you ran the script also this block (Text with title) should be updated, the shortcode should be renamed to – http://screencast.com/t/uFryRqk89 You can also check if the shortcode was changed for other block for example block 1:
old shortcode name version 4 – http://screencast.com/t/0PjvwbqAvvt
new shortcode name version 6 – http://screencast.com/t/TBUdUB5yuZ4

The latest version of the theme is 6.3.2 and the version of the Visual Composer provided with the theme is 4.6.2 If you want to update it please deactivate and delete the plugin – http://screencast.com/t/NQoTDtaOp0 and install it from here – http://screencast.com/t/Yvh1iXS0Lf
