Hi,
I was using child theme with some customization with it, but as i update the theme to the latest version, my single post displaying blank page, please have a look http://www.cookingrecipes.com.pk/prawns-noodles/
i deactivated the tagDiv speed booster plugin and after deactivating this error appears
Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_module_1::get_bread_crumbs() in /home/cookpk/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/loop-single.php on line 11
Hi,
Please make sure you follow this guide and install the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin from the plugins folder that came with the theme files.
If this does not help please deactivate all plugins, clear cache(s), CDN caches if you use any and try again.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks Christopher!
@moregoodfoundation
Please make a back-up of your current theme installation as Christopher wrote then update the theme to the latest version (4.3) if you are using a an older theme version if not re-upload the theme files delete the wpbackery from theme files then upload it from plugins folder like here
If this dose not solve this issue please send your wp-admin user and pass at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check this, also send a link to this topic or specify your issues details.
Thanks

hi,
You will have to create your own templates for custom posts types if you need other that the ones we provide, unfortunately this is custom work and we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
You could also try to Please try to search the web for a solution.
This may help: http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Type_Templates
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for this suggestion we already have this on out issue tracker list and we will try to add a better implementation for this, unfortunately I can’t give you on ETA for this as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
Thanks
Is there a way to do this so that each update I don’t have to go back and change this? thank you
Hi,
I have tested this using the latest theme version 4.3 and with WPBakery Visual Composer version 4.3.4 and worked fine for me: http://screencast.com/t/h8547NHbMdVa
As you noticed the css to style the buttons dose not apply in your case, this is because the classes used by css are missing: http://screencast.com/t/V3LhNREDXhGB
Please make sure you install the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin from the plugins folder that came with themes files like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Also try to deactivate all plugins and then check if this issue is still there.
Thanks
Hi,
For some reason the articles on the slider part of my homepage http://www.irkitated.com won’t click to visit the post. This only happens for the ones on the slider, the rest are fine.
The only thing I can think that I did was update to the latest version of Revolution Slider but after contacting them directly they told me that isn’t their product on my homepage.
Do you have any ideas how i can fix this please?
There is no visual composer appearing in pages editor after i made the theme update.
1) backup data
2) switch to twenty-fourteen theme or similar; clear cache(s), CDN caches, etc.
3) delete the wpbakery folder in the old theme if running pre 4.0 Newspaper theme; delete entire theme folder ideally
4) update to new 4.2+ theme if not already done; upload new theme folder into wp-content/themes/
5) install the VC plugin into the plugins folder; not into the theme folder; activate plugin
6) select theme, activate
7) check site; you may need to reselect widgets to refresh them
8) resave permalinks if needed
9) restart cache/CDN if all working
hello,
we added the theme validation message to prevent the piracy of the theme a bit. The activation system does not update the theme automatically, it’s there just to verify the key.
Hi,
The Visual Composer plugin that comes with the theme is licensed to the theme, the license specifies that only we can provide the updates and you don’t have to buy it or register it. We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility the plugin is included in the latest theme update, inside the Plugins folder – http://screencast.com/t/6QIBYx3a4t
Here is guide on how to update the plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
The latest version included in the package is 4.3.4 – http://screencast.com/t/cLB7SS4RBbY
Thank you, Emil G.
Hi,
I can’t point you to a plugin that dose that, you can achieve something like this with custom css, unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Thnaks
Hi,
We will consider this for the next updates, unfortunately I can’t give an
ETA on this as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
Thanks
Hi,
Please follow this guide and delete the plugin then install it from the plugins folder that came with the theme files, you don’t need to rename any folder, just delete the plugin and install from the plugins folder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Thanks
Thanks, we will consider this for future updates.
Thanks for your suggestion!

Yeah I agree to mehedi, no auto updates please.
I think I would agree that some kind of updated docs on how the responsive layouts work, if the only option now is “responsive” or “boxed if you choose a background color.”
While it’s “simpler” to be always on for responsive by default, it seems like a specific example of how it now works would be helpful (HINT: Marius and Lucian, etc.), if the options have been removed from the admin panel.
In theory the 970/1170 concept from BS3 makes sense, but most of the theme thus far has been built on the BS2 framework to keep the IE8 compatibility which BS3 just throws out the window.
Since this is a big concern for many, likely some kind of “how responsive works now” update to the docs would be super duper helpful!
Update:
Got a reply from Ubermenu plugin developer. This is what he said:
“The menu is working properly on your site. The width of the menu bar is restricted by your theme’s #td-top-menu div.
If you want the menu to be wider, you’d need to move it outside of that container. If you want to make the menu full-width, you’d need to move it outside of the .container div”
So, how do I do this (both options)? TagDIV support, please advise!
Thank you

Ok. I just received it. i have no problems activating the theme but my question is: “will it update the theme automatically?” If so, I don’t want to update it automatically as I have done a ridiculous amount of customization. TagDiv, please help.
