But for version 11.5 there’s no option for auto update.
So, I have to manually update it and manual updation requires putting website on maintenance mode. What if I don’t want to put our website on maintenance mode, is there any other solution for this? or we have put website on maintenance mode every time we have a new update?

I have had a few occurrrences recently where my home page display has broken and the NewsXpaper logo appears instead of mine, and various elements of the page displays incorrectly etc. On all occasions no changes have been made to the site, and it has spontaneously righted itself while I’m trying to ascertain the issue.
Today it has broken again for desktop viewing (fine on mobile), but I can see no issues, nothing has changed, no plugins updated, and I therefore have no idea where to start to fix it.

To have the automatic updates option, you had to have version 10.3.1 and from version 10.3.2 you could use this option -> https://tagdiv.com/introduction-to-newspaper-theme-automatic-updates/
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer.

If you have a Newsmag theme that has v 2.4.4 or under that version my suggestion is to make a full backup for the website and database and after that to update the theme to the last version (v5.3).
Another suggestion is to use a plugin like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/prevent-xss-vulnerability/

This answer is a year old, so I’d like to know if there has been an update. Is this still the only method to have different Sidebars on different posts?
When using the DEFAULT template for posts , there is an option (below the Gutenberg editor) to choose which sidebar you want to display. With Custom Template, this option disappears.
It is pretty painful and gets really complicated to create a new template for every post you want a different sidebar (15 different idebars > 15 templates !). You change one thing in one template, and you got to make 15 changes to make everything look the same. Any chance there is an easier method? Could you offer this option in custom templates?

I have a 3-column Big Grid Flex 1 at the top of the home page and the third article is being stacked below the first, with a blank spot in the third position on desktop and tablet sizes. When I’m in the TagDiv Editor, it looks correct. I installed the most recent theme update.

Then surely you should update your documentation? Else it’s a big disingenuous to claim “Newspaper comes with a free license for slider revolution” when that license only counts for versions that are several years out of date.

Why the developers thinking it is okay to inject permanent adverts into WordPress admin console I do not know. If only on the Theme console I think it will be okay. If at least allow to close the advert permanently like many notifications.

Yes, you can use the theme only on two websites, not more. We’ve introduced the Manage License System, which can be seen in the latest update of the theme 11.4.3 in Newspaper -> My license. You can assign or unassign a domain from there.

If you really need to remove it, then it can be done from the theme files, if you need it, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and please provide temporary wp-admin access, then we’ll safely remove them from the code.

For the moment there is no option to remove the banners, most likely one will be added in future updates of the theme.
For the moment the only way to remove it is from the theme and plugins files, if you really need to remove it, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.come and please provide temporary wp-admin access so we can login and safety remove the banners from the code.

Hi Guys, it’s been a while since I originally experienced this issue but I just wanted to pick it up again as I’m having similar problems again.
I’ve recently updated to tagDiv Composer 3.9 and I’m using the same method outlined in this thread to display ACF custom fields inside custom shortcodes in composer.
I can see from the td_module.php file in tagDiv composer you use the following to select field values from the current post too.
$post_id = $this->post->ID;
But this also causes a fatal error if I include it in my shortcode template file.
This is what my shortcode looks like.
$post_id = $this->post->ID;
if ( get_field( ‘mk_acf_contributor_primary_role’ , $post_id ) ):
the_field( ‘mk_acf_contributor_primary_role’ , $post_id );
Am I missing anything obvious?
I’ve seen you’ve added ACF support in composer but I need to do compile more complex elements which add links from ACF fields etc too so I need to be able to define my own custom template parts compiled from ACF field data.

Hi, there i just have updated the theme via “Envato Market” plugin from 11 to 12 version.
After the update my site logo is gone and all the Featured Image of the post on homepage or on other page is not being displayed.

Since there are only two pages, we feel a bit lost about where to update everything.
It would definitely be easier if there were pages that we could just update instead of hunting through the site.
We fear having forgotten about a few pages, and then having the CloudTheme layout show up.
Can someone please list all of the pages that need to be updated in the Gossip Theme, and where/how to do that?
