Hi homebusinessmag, first you’ll need to replace all templates from the standard pack and only after that to disable it. Those shortcodes are from blocks, you can replace theme with flex blocks.
Here is a topic where are mentioned all the elements from the Standard Pack plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/
Also, what theme version are you using?
Thank you!
Hi
Anamaria!
I get it.
What I’m curious about is:

Are AdSense Auto Ads running in the demo above?

It’s very strange and bad experience, during the theme purchase I paid for premium support also but still not getting any solution. As I told you there is negative impact on the live users and website got stuck, after all not getting any solution.
I have shared website information on email, please help me with this ASAP.
Please resolve my concern ASAP.Please
Hi ashishag,
If you already did some tests using only the theme plugins and the problems are still persisting, then, please try this, please disable and delete all tagDiv plugins that you are using right now and reinstall those plugins from Newspaper > plugins.
Another solution will be to update the theme to the last version (11.4.2).
Thank you!
You just have to update the regular expression to include the decimal or the thousands separator as in the picture.
Right now it only includes numbers with no period/thousands separator. It breaks when it comes to a number which has any character as the thousands separator (in this case the period).
See the picture:

Hello
Just updated to Version: 11.4.2 and, since then, I have problems:
IMAGES: a) I cannot click on any image to replace it in the front end editor and b) the media library does not shows its content. Also, c) most images within the back end show as broken links
CHECKBOX: It doesn’t matter where it is, a checkbox cannot be marked. As a result of that, you cannot bulk edit, delete, etc. in every part of the backend such as plugins, users, themes, entries, categories, tags, etc.
We just lunched a new edition of the magazine and cannot update everything we need.
We appreciate any help you can provide ASAP.
Hi Anamaria,
I have been struggling with the theme for the last 3 days, in The website tagdiv composer is not working. My live users are getting stuck because of this according to the forum discussion with you, everything is updated to the latest version in the theme.
I have shared required credentials & website information at contact@tagdiv.com, please help me with this ASAP.
Thanks
Do we have any update on this simple fix ?
Hi — I’ve recently tried to upgrade my site from a much older version (9.6) to the latest version of Newspaper. The integrated tagDiv Composer plugin, which is responsible for my website’s design, appears to have changed a lot between theme versions. I don’t seem to be able to upgrade directly to 11.4. Is it possible to get files containing each major version of the theme from 9.6 to 11.4 to attempt a step-by-step update between versions to assure that the code of connected plugins and theme files does not change significantly? Thanks.
Okay how can I update my child theme? I haven’t done any update on the files yet but I copied all the theme files to child theme while creating it. What should I do?
Hi this is our site right now in italy https://www.studio93.it/ we are a radio station and we publish about 20- 30 articles a day. We are updating the php , mysql and our template and we purchase the your template. Since we can’t update our space until we set your template to fit our needs we have at another webspace that has the latest php and mysql here
https://www.ridetofinish.com/studio/ , what I would like to know is the front page of your template , where can I set the what categories go where on the front page? For example our current site we have areas for every category, front page, important, sport , politics, according to when we put in the article if it is important and sports, if appears on the scroller on the front page and in the category sports. Your template I need to the same thing. The different blocks on the home page how can a set what category goes in those blocks? Right now I let the articles in the template package, after I figure it our I will upload 50 articles from our site at studio93.it , when it is set I will put the template at studio93.it, thanks problem set blocks on home page for category news and limit of articles on each block
thanks tony
Hello!
The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue for that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme(if you use some files which were updated).
If you have some custom modifications in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after the update.
Thank you!
Hello!
I recommend you to update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and see the results.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
I do not think the problem is with the cache, if it was from it, then the post would no longer appear, nut just the AFC data.
As far as I know there is no hook on WP post editor, but there may be some conditions related to the publish/update button from the WP posts.
Thank you!
Hello @bezukhof!
I can see that you use a very old theme version, so I gladly recommend you to make a full backup and update the theme and plugins. That one is a sticky mobile menu. You can disable/enable sticky mobile menu and main menu when you access Website Manager, like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/EdpjIpsBHunx
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks for your response. I already have latest update of the theme(11.4.2) and plugins too. And it was working fine since last 3 months.it happened yesterday.I am not using Cloudflare.
Hi Ibalex,
The tagDiv Composer was not made to be used on posts, this can be used on pages and cloud templates only!
If you are using cloud templates for your website, then the tagDiv Composer options should be in the WordPress top bar (just made sure that you have an admin role).
About the editors and possibility to edit. In the latest updates it looks that our developers set the permissions incorrectly and assigned the author’s attributions to the editor and vice versa, so the editors will be able to create only pages not cloud templates.
Since you are editing a cloud template, the changes to it will be reflected in all posts / categories / … of which it is a part of that cloud template and is set to be used.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin is updated and activated.
Those shortcodes and the error are from tagDiv Standard Pack, and this plugin is not required from version 10.4, because the new demos are using cloud templates.
Thank you!
Hi,
Make sure you have the latest update of the theme(11.4.2) and plugins too, that all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
So, please make sure you don’t have a plugin conflict.
Also, please check the console when you try to save the changes made with tagDiv Composer maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Thank you!
I need to update some theme files but I need this update too especially because new ad feature? What should I do? How can I modify theme files or save them from getting overridden by the update?
Screen Shot
As shown here, even though the default user registration is subscriber, clicking the profile modules link directs us to a link for authors. As a functionality request, I propose you add template for subscriber user’s profile and enable it through that module. It is, unfortunately, so annoying. Until an official update, I need to configure these myself. What and how should I do it?

Hi Calin,
I have done some more testing, here is what I did and what I found.
Test Environment – new WordPress install
Theme & Plugin
- TagDiv Newspaper theme 11
- Advanced Custom Fields
– to add two text fields to the posts “source_domain” & “source_link” both text fields. - FakerPress – to add test posts.
Test process
- used FakerPress to create 5 test posts. These posts do not contain any data in the ACF fields.added ACF field data to 2 posts via WP post editor.
- added ACF field data to the remaining 3 posts directly to the WP Database _postmeta table using phpMyAdmin.checked all posts via WP post editor to confirm ACF field data was correctly inserted.
- updated 1 of the 3 direct entry posts using WP post editor.
Conclusion.
Viewing the posts using the TagDiv Newspaper theme 11 and displaying the ACF field data, in the post template as as described using [acf field=”source_domain”] I saw:
- first 2 posts, created using the WP post editor – displayed the ACF field data correctly.
- next 2 posts, where ACF field data were entered directly into the database did NOT show any ACF field data.
- last post where ACF field data was entered directly into the database, then post updated using WP post editor- displayed the ACF field data correctly.
So it seems that the theme will only show the ACF field data if the post has been entered or updated via the WP post editor. This is very frustrating as it means that other plugins that enter data directly into the database do not work as intended.
Additionally, when tested with Elementor and a basic WP theme using PHP it works fine.
Have you placed a hook on the WP post editor, to update a cache or something similar?
Help!
Hi,
Please check – https://www.jantakareporter.com/?s=
Post images are overlapping and not resizing correctly. I was facing this issue with some of the modules on homepage as well while creating post blocks.
Website is on OLS server, with Tagdiv Standard Pack and Composer activated. I can’t activate Cloud templates because it makes my website slower.
Deactivating Standard Pack solves this issue but messes up with website layout
The theme purchased from you consumes a lot of resources. I receive alerts from the hosting provider. I increased the hosting plan but the site still consumes a lot of resources. I still have a problem with the All in One SEO module which after the update does not seem to be compatible with the theme. Please give me some advice so I can reduce resource consumption. The problem seems to be from the tagDiv Cloud Library module. The moment I deactivate it, the resources used decrease drastically. The site is: https://www.tvpartener.ro
Ola! Any updates on this? 🙂
