Hello!
I recommend you to make a full backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend that you update the theme on a staging website and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
Thank you!
Hello!
I am not sure I fully understand what you are looking to edit. Can you please provide screenshots, more information and an url to your website?
Please check also some tips about mobile pages:

Thank you!
From the screenshot I see that’s a feature only available in Newspaper v11. I’m working with the previous version and I don’t see that option, so I’ll have to update the theme. Thanks for your answer!!!
We reinstalled a backup version of the site to a new instance (droplet) on Digital Ocean, and the issue was fixed. However, again, I updated to the new version of Newspaper (11) and the same issue occurred.
Repeated the process and we’re now running on the previous version of Newspaper and things are stable.
I’ll stick with the previous version of Newspaper and try updating when there’s a later version than 11 available.
I have some issues too… after the update, the head menu was corrupted. now the site shows the title and tag, which were not visible before. I tried to build a new front page, but nothing happened. menu is ruined in the whole site, and I couldn’t find any way of changing back to what it was.
Hi there,
Half of my website has its rows stretched and the other half looks boxed for some reason. I’ve tried recreating these rows and modules from scratch, but it still doesn’t work. I haven’t added any new plugins or made any new updates.

Here as you can see in tagDiv, the row is fully stretched as it’s supposed to be
https://prnt.sc/16mq32e
The settings are set to stretch.
https://prnt.sc/16mq70z
BOXED LAYOUT IS NOT ACTIVE.
I’m not sure why this is happening since no changes were made to the website in the past 5 days and this just happened.
Any help with that?
Thanks.
Too many requests from your IP. Please contact us via contact@tagdiv.com that error show when I want to update
Hi Anamaria,
To answer your questions,
In Newspaper Theme Panel> Template settings> Show Breadcrumbs is enabled. The breadcrumb should therefore appear on all pages, which was the case before the update.
Two pages in which the breadcrumb does not appear:
https://www.romepratique.com/preparer-installation-rome/
https://www.romepratique.com/vivre-a-rome/rome-informations-de-base-pour-les-residents/
Two pages in which the breadcrumb is present:
https://www.romepratique.com/preparer-installation-rome/telephone-et-internet/telephoner-en-italie/
https://www.romepratique.com/preparer-installation-rome/assurances/conseils-assurances/
I have more than 300 pages and 1100 articles in my site, so I cannot check them all but it seems that the pages made with Visual Composer do not have the breadcrumb while those made with the classic editor have the breadcrumb.
The breadcrumb is present in all the posts that I have consulted and they were made with Visual Composer.
Best regards,
Stéphane
The last reply was 4 years ago. Can we get an update?
Hello,
I’m sorry for the late answer, at the moment the support is a bit crowded.
You can install the plugin manually => https://www.screencast.com/t/Sj5WgVFGo and I’m glad you managed to solve the problem.
In the future, please try not to reply multiple times on the topic/email if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM GMT+2
Thank you!
Hello!
Please check if all the plugins have been successfully updated and are active, Also if you have external plugins please disable them temporarily to make sure that it is not a plugin conflict.
Let us know the result!
Thank you!
For the life of me I cannot find this top bar with the tool on any of my pages although I have updated to Newspaper V11. Is this because I’m using the 9c Child theme?
Hello,
In the last update, v11, the implementation of the boxed option has been fixed, if you set a background image/colour this boxed option had applied only to content, now it also applies to the header and footer.
Please check this topic also: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bugsince-i-updating-to-newspaper-11-header-fotter-arent-full-width/
So, if you want to have the footer full width, you need to check if you have set a background image/color and remove it, also, if this option is disabled=> https://www.screencast.com/t/RgS5SfS1g, after all, you can stretch the row.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
After updating to Newspaper 11, our site has gone wonky. Please see the home page. Every page on the site seems to be weird. I’m hoping that the code that’s showing on the home page will give you a clue as to what’s gone wrong and what I should do to fix it.
I also updated to the latest version of wp on the same day.
Today I disabled every plugin one after the other, but no improvement. I also rolled back to the previous version of the theme, and to the previous version of wp, but to no avail. The site is now running the latest versions of WP and Newspaper.
I’d be grateful for any help you can provide, thank you.
(BTW, I love this theme!)
Hello, Steen H.,
In the last update, v11, the implementation of the boxed option has been fixed, if you set a background image/colour this boxed option had applied only to content, now it also applies to the header and footer.
Please check this topic also: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bugsince-i-updating-to-newspaper-11-header-fotter-arent-full-width/
So, if you don’t have a background image/colour and the option to make it boxed is disable, => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF then the settings from the theme panel should apply.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
The home page of my website will not show Newspaper Gossip Pro theme https://theglamlives.com/
However internal pages work just fine https://theglamlives.com/how-to-practice-mindfulness/
What’s wrong?
Hello,
In the last update, v11, the implementation of the boxed option has been fixed, if you set a background image/color this boxed option had applied only to content, now it also applies to the header and footer.
On the website live you have the last version of the theme and on the staging website v10.4, that is why this is the difference.
So, if you want to have the header and footer full width, you need to disable the option to be boxed, remove the background color/image and after you can stretch the row after your needs -> https://i.imgur.com/WKYebPX.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/TO1BZ3M.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Yq8UCv3.jpg
Hope this helps you!

In the header we have the logo and a banner, when I update the theme it disappears and only shows the name and slogan with text. Is there any way to provide access privately?
Hey there,
After we updated to 11 version of the newspaper theme we have the following issue:
While we see the single post social share buttons in the tagdiv editor: https://imgur.com/a/9uhq086, we cannot see it on live version here: https://imgur.com/a/zCXGJie
You can have a look at the live site here: https://bit.ly/3gRqm5V
I recently updated my website to the latest version.
https://bikeadvice.in/
Here are the issues
1) At my homepage the ‘Latest News’ Articles are now displayed completely (full articles). How can I change back to the
normal view of the small featured image at the left, followed by the headline (and optional excerpts), like it was since the beginning. I follow the Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination template.
2) Category pages have also reverted to a different Module. I don’t understand why?
3) Mobile homepage header is not showing my website’s image logo (I will try to manually revert this back).
From the theme panel the different module displays have also been taken away?
Please help.
Hi,
my website (header, menu and footer) got shrinked after last version 11 update. Ichecked the settings in the TD composer and it is set as “stretch row and content” as before. I’m not able to fix this…any hint?
Thanks in advance,
María

Hello,
In the last update, v11, the implementation of the boxed option has been extended, if you set a background image/color this boxed option had applied only to content, now it also applies to the header and footer.
So if you want to have the header and footer full width, you need to set the background image/color on the zone of content and remove the background color/image from Theme Panel.
Also, you align the elements to the centre => https://www.screencast.com/t/zV6ejc8qx
Thank you!
