I bought Newspaper theme in 6/15 and there had been no problem until yesterday.
Since yesterday, there have been occurring some issues in Newspaper tagDiv.
I am experiencing some button malfunctions in two cases:
– Click the element’s bin button (element delete)
– Click the [import section] button at Cloud library’s LIVE PREVIEW window
When clicking the buttons above, the whole screen gets a little bit dark and just stays like that. No function executed.
I tried the below but the issue still remains.
– I recognized there was a new update (10.3.5.) and updated the latest version.
– I checked & allowed pop-ups in wordpress.com and my domain address.
– I mainly use Safari browser, and I found the same issue in Chrome browser as well.
For this issue, I can’t finish building my WordPress website.
Can I get support with this problem?

Since update to latest version 10.3.5, the AMP plugin is unable to initialize –> https://prntscr.com/t33eee, and causing website to break down –> https://prntscr.com/t33efh.
Have checked with my host, they confirmed that the CURL extension is installed –> https://prntscr.com/t33fe0.

Hi, the plugins weren’t the problem.
As per all of the other issues, the update has essentially just wiped all my settings.
I have rolled back to an earlier backup and now would like to understand how I can safely update the theme without it breaking the site.

Hi, I have updated the theme however 2 mistake occured. I couldn’t activated the tagdivcomposer. (I have tried it manually and result doesnt change)
This following error message has occured.

I’m having a hard time tracing this issue – my site is TheAutomationBlog.com, and it works on PC and iPhone, but I get a 503 on iPad in Chrome but not Safari?
Chrome will work if you request the Desktop Site, but not the Mobile Site đ

Update: Site has been down all day as problem with back-up. Now running with old theme and all customization is lost. Wasted my day and lost me $$$. Problem still not fixed

I have followed all instructions, I even tried disabling all plugins except tagdiv, I also disconnected Instagram account and then reactivated it again. I cleared the cache. Nothing.
Everything was fine before the update.

The updates always break my site. I have started doing the testing in a staging area. This is what happens with this update:
-sample 1: it strips all the pictures out of my posts on the channel pages. it also adds a very small banner header in black at the top of the browser. This should not be there.
-sample 2: I have comments and visit counts turned off. Why is the eye and the comment box now on in each post across my site?
-sample 2: it drops a box “vxt contributor” in at the bottom of every post. It points back to the homepage.
Live site is vexteo.com, but this is in my staging site, which you won’t be able to see without the pw. You have this as we’ve had issues before.
Please advise on what the issues are. Thank you.

There are so many problems with every update.
1. Our search box is not working. Tried creating the new header, deleting cache plugins.
2. Every update comes with different bugs. We have to put our time fixing it instead of creating content.
3. Mixed content Problem! This is more f up. We are getting mixed content warnings due to HTTP urls. Even though we use SSL and set everything to HTTPS, something from theme, may be, using HTTP which is giving this mixed content warning.
4. Strange pagination. I saw similar comments one themeforest page and now I guarantee its something related to Theme. The google search shows site links with strange pages like “2”, “10” search result. This “10” is domain.com/PAGE2 on site. It is neither created by us nor it should be there. Its like BLANK homepage. You have to fix it asap.
Please Give us some peace of mind. because with every theme update, there is new task for us to fix something.
Yes, those numbers also show how to do things because everyone finds it complicated to set up. The theme is not as simple as you advertise. đ

All we are asking is peace! We don’t want any changes in settings of theme or any bug that gives error after the update and breaks the site. Or any settings loss. You have to check updates before releasing them.
About support: There is huge difference between smartphones and themes! Smartphone use is different in day-to-day life. & This is a digital product. How much we have to pay after support ends? (For Information)
I’m trying to update to 10.3.5 and it won’t work. I’ve tried 3 times and now have to restore a site backup.
I spoke to you before about how the automatic updates don’t work and you told me to do it manually.
I’ve been doing this successfully but now it won’t work even manually.
It won’t let me update the composer plug-in. I’ve attached 2 screenshots.
These updates are a massive waste of my time. I need a theme where I can press a button and it updates without fail. Fix this asap please or I’ll have to use another theme that doesn’t waste my time and actually works properly.

Everything’s fine with my website. It’s just a theme update that I didn’t like and want to keep old functionality that would require little tweak with the code.

Thanks for your reply. Our servers met all requirement. I think the problem is due to update multiple server behind load balancer which connected to single database. Do you have any suggestion or document that talking about updating Newpaper theme in load balancer environment?

Obviously we are using everything the latest, updated system. We need peace of mind when we buy a premium theme. But with every update, there is always something buggy? 203,711 That’s the number of total posts on this forum. Which means you guys really need to improve, seriously, I know you are trying, but please Improve more.
With every update, there is going to be something buggy? Also, support will end after 6 months! Why you can not give lifetime support for a premium theme. Hi, first sign something was wrong was the entire site including WordPress toolbar displaying in Italics.

I noticed an update needed for Newspaper theme in 10.3.5 and completed that. tagdiv composer plugin did not complete and showed as an ajax error. As per recommendation I then loaded the plugin manually.
The site layout settings I slaved over appear to be gone!
-The site logos are all gone
-The colour and font settings have all reverted back to ‘default’ from what I had them set to
-All the fonts were in italics
-Blocks that did fit four articles in a row are now pushing one article over to form a new line
In addition:

The Sticky Menu in mobile theme is set using minify jQuery to add inline css to some elements -> https://i.imgur.com/znS6pRA.png unfortunatly this is quite hard to find the right place where the changes need to be done, also these will be lost when you’ll make a theme update.

Hi guys, I updated some days ago to the newspaper version 10.3.5 and everything is perfetct, as always.
I have just one issue.
The icons of the famous WpDiscuz plugin are no longer displayed.
I contacted the plugin support and they said that the active theme adds lazy load on avatars.
In fact, icons appear after we perform the “inspection” of the page, as shown here:
