I’ve recently purchased the newspaper theme.
Automatic updates of the required plugins failed.
I’ve tried the manual method as well which seems to be not working as well
Hi,
Do I have access to newspaper’s theme updates after expiring license support?
Thanks,
hi, when I added an url to the titles of blocks in homepage, I will save the new settings, the page says successfully saved, but when I checked them again there is no url in the titles. I check wp memory limit and php, all is updated, may it be something licence, because this is my second license, can you help me please
Hi,
Please notice that is not an issue, the time ago feature is available only for posts and for modules/blocks we’ve the modified date option; maybe in coming updates the time ago option will be implement on modules/blocks too.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Is possible that in coming update to be includes some new elements in tagDiv Cloud Library, but I can not say if there will be a footer page that will to match the header template 12.
If you like the Header template 12 from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can not find a matching footer page, you can chose one that you like and edit it using tagDiv Composer or you can create a new page how you want, with the style, color and layout you want.

Hi,
Thank you for your message! If you want to roll back the WPBackery to the version of the plugin which comes bundled with our theme you will need to remove it and load it again from the theme packet folder from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsl4LnTuw In the future, please do not update it. Keep the version which comes bundled with our theme. After you have made these steps, please clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, for the moment our theme have the time ago option only for posts, not for blocks/modules, maybe this option will be add in the coming updates.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I have seen this in a few cases, it is happening because of the new WPBakery update 6.0.3.
We recommend to not update the plugin where possible (purchased premium plugin) until we include the update along theme updates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
The version of WPBakery currently included in the latest theme package is 6.0.2. Please try to use this version and there should be no problem. Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
That will require a modification in file located in the composer plugin. The default limit is set to 1000 categories, which would be considered enough for most cases. You could modify it here
– http://prntscr.com/o7rgnj
Note that the modification will be lost after a theme update, when the theme plugins are updated as well.
Thanks
Why can’t Newspaper 9 and its team of developers fix something like this Time Format for customers by coming up with an update to resolve the issue once and for all? I purchased Newspaper 9 theme thinking that common features like the time ago format that is Ubiquitous on almost all news sites will be available only to find out that’s not the case. You all need to come up with an update ASAP to fix this issue in the theme it makes sites like mine a bit disjointed by having a long time format on the homepage

I’m trying to create a page with TagDiv Composer (Newspaper 9.7.3). The composer is not interactive, i.e. I have to save and reload to see the WYSIWIG layout. Also, I can’t make changes or delete an item, the update wheel just keep rolling… When loading a previously updated page the error: “Error at zones: 5(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content” shows.
The child theme is limited after the latest updates. It contains the required files (stylesheet and functions) that you can use if needed. But now copying theme files in it won’t be possible anymore, because the files are in the composer plugin.
You could modify them in the legacy folder directly, but the modifications will be lost after theme updates, when the themes are updated.
Maybe what you are trying to do is possible in a different way however. Please provide some more details about it.
I understand what you are telling me – but how do I fix this? There was anther issue with a plugin that I have since removed (a membership plugin) but in the process of determining what was wrong, someone who thought they were being helpful updated all the other software and plugins. So how do I get back to the version that works with the theme I purchased?
Hello !
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Please add this custom css code in order to activate your dropdown menu arrows: .td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
You can paste it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/H9Ma8zuH and if you use Mobile Theme plugin you need to paste it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/pKe8bjLKZdJ
As for the sign in / join buttons this is a known issue and our developers are working for it to be fixed in the future updates !
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
Hi,
Unfortunately, for the moment I can not say an estimate time, but will be fix in coming updates.

Hi,
What files are you modifying exactly? Note that after the recent updates most of the theme files were moved in the tagDiv composer plugin – http://prntscr.com/o7bm1p
Those are the files that are used when the tagDiv composer is active.
If you could mention what you want to do, I will try to help you. Let me know.
Thanks
Please update Strings translations for FOOTER TEXT in Footer info content and FOOTER COPYRIGHT TEXT in sub footer setting
Hi,
Yes, that was what you said; we’ve updated the documentation for AMP -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
It’s a easy question:
The desktop home page of y website is ok.
The mobile version is only a “latest articles” page. It looks like the mobile version does not have a homepage at all.

What is the problem?
I have installed the AMP version that you reccomend. All plugins are installed and updated.
Thank you
Hi,
We are sorry that you are facing this issue! Please note that our theme comes bundled with the plugins which are currently working well with our theme. In that case, the theme comes with WPBackery 6.0.2 which is tested with our theme and which works as properly, at the moment. Checking the source page of your website, I saw that you are using the latest version of that plugin, which is 6.0.3 and which is not yet tested with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nEBij66sOwl Probably, you WPBackery has been updated because you have paid this plugin which allows you to update it to the latest version of it. Please note that you have to use only the version of the plugins which come bundled with our theme packet if you want to achieve good theme results. Please read the following useful guide from here -> https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins where is specified which are the main differences between standalone plugins and bundled plugins.
I hope that you understand this case!
Thank you for the message!

Hi,
You could try loading your own fonts in the theme panel and disable Google fonts in the theme, from what I can find online that might work. Or maybe load them in the theme header directly (with CSS font-face or import) and then apply them as well with CSS.
Here are some resources I found online, maybe they are helpful
– https://coffeencoding.com/load-google-fonts-5x-faster-in-wordpress/
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54277912/ensure-text-remains-visible-during-webfont-load-not-getting-resolved-in-google-p
– https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/using-font-face/
– https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/02/font-display
Thanks
after update to 9.7.3, when i modified the files inside the theme folder, it have no effect to the front end.
any help or suggestion how to make it works?
