I would like to use addons for Visual Composer.
Unfortunately the theme version seems to be completely outdated.
“Ultimate Visual Composer Addons” for example requires v3.7.2 which was released at 8.12.2013.
Please consider updating the Visual Composer or provide a way to turn it off in Newspaper so that i can activate the pure plugin.

With Ad bar on side this condition occurs
Adding a Page, using the Visual Composer. Used the Add Element button and added the Revolution Slider. With no slides configured the page returns the result “Add a Slide” After I add one slide into a configuration of the Revolution Slider the result on the page is a spinning wheel. I created a test page with just this one element on the page, and the same issue occured.
Using Visual Composer and using the text box element and adding the same shortcode also causes the spinning wheel.
I created a test page without Visual Composer, (Classic Editor) then the same Revolution Slider (using short code) works correction on the test page.
For a page that features all the authors of the blog I use a default page with visual builder and put a full row with the author box.
On the page though it displays the author only with name, link and image where I want it to display description and social media icons as well. Just like in the post itself or like on an individual author page.
I can’t seem to find the code. The author box is only used on single author, and single post holds another one, but I can’t find the one that puts together this author boxes.
Please let me know where I can find the files and how I can duplicate the existing function to replace this one? Thank you!
Really good reactivity. Thank you for the work. The last version (3.2) lets you use these files for translation.

What’s the reason you disabled the Accordion in Visual Composer? I think you need to update VC because I turned on the Accordion and there’s an issue with autoheight for the content of each accordion section, if the tallest content block is for example 200px then ALL accordion content is set to that same height no matter what, this is wrong & I think it was fixed in the latest version of VC. Also the plus/minus icons are not showing up.
I am trying to use the visual composer on wordpress 3.8.1. All it continues to do is say “Loading, Please wait.” I recently purchased the Newspaper theme. I do not have the plugin for visual composer. I have visual editor enabled. I have tried to reuploading the theme three times with no luck of getting it to work. Could there be something wrong with the theme file? Is there anything else I need to enable to get this working? I don’t understand what else I can try. Please help!

I did. Thanks. I found the way to get rid of the icons (fixing my original problem. Now the visual composer won’t work. I use Chrome and Firefox to edit the pages and posts. When I use Chrome, Visual Composer won’t go past the “Loadin, please wait. . .” stage and when I use Firefox, the plugin loads after a long time and after it does and I edit the posts, the save button won’t work.
Should I close this post since my original problem was fixed and create a new one for the other issue?

Modules can be used on loops, on homepages with pagination(latest article), on category template, search templates, blog template, etc.
That can’t be used in visual composer, only with custom modification.

version 3.0 looks great. I love the theme panel.
Three Questions:
1.) Where do I find the speedbooster plugin? Its not downloadable via “install plugins”.
2.) ADS: sidebar ads (300×250 google adsense) are not displayed at all AND Header ad is not shrinking on smaller devices. Am I missing someting here?
3.) Lightbox for featured images is working fine. But all images added via visual composer are opening not in a lightbox. Can you recommend a plugin or tell me how to be able to use your lightbox also with inarticle images?

HI all I’m newly purchased this theme and this is a awesome theme. I have a problem when building a custom home page to my website.
Question 1
I’m able to add blocks to a row in Visual Composer. But unable to save the changes after I update block settings. I’m pressing the save button but nothing happens.It keeps idle. It is not closing the block setting dialog and changes are not saved. But cancel button works perfectly.
Question 2
I have similar problem with default templates provided with the theme. Those templates also not loading to the Visual Composer when I click on them.
Question 3
After I add a block I’m unable to delete the block. When I click on X(delete) button Alert box is showing but after I click OK it is not deleting.
How to solve this problems. I asked these three question in same thread because all three questions may have one solution to fix.

I’m not sure i understood correctly what you want, please can you show me what you want in a screenshot or something.
The widgetised sidebar from visual composer select a sidebar that you can use it in the layout, and to manage the sidebar go to Appearance -> Widgets. Is just like a normal sidebar.
Also you can use Big slider and above you can add 2 column content + 1 column sidebar.

I have the newspaper theme and I would like to use the visual composer on posts as well as pages so I enabled that, but I now notice that the column shortcode (whether in visual composer or not) won’t function properly. It seems to function OK on pages, but I haven’t played with that a ton only posts. I put in shortcodes for a pullquote on a post and that seemed to work OK as well. Not sure why the columns won’t work. Please advise. Thank you.

1. Big slider work only on full width(3 columns) you can use the Homepage blank template and add the Big slider with Visual Composer.
2. Use Homepage blank or Homepage – bg – no article list and add 2/3 + 1/3 columns with page buiilder. first column 2/3 add a block like you want to display the posts and use “Load more” as setting. http://screencast.com/t/8oDdcRyAQoW and use the next columns 1/3 as sidebar, add from page builder Widgetised sidebar and select a sidebar that you want to use.
3. To add another banner you have to add it directly in code, in v3 the file is in parts folder, the files with header…php(depends what style of header do you use)
4. The space can be reduced via CSS, use inspector from Chrome or firefox and add your custom css in style.css or in V3 we have a section for custom CSS.

I just purchased your theme and switched from my old theme that also uses a build-in visual composer. Unfortunately there are some content boxes missing in your version (e.g. separator with or without title, alert boxes).
I do have a single license for VC but before I start coding something: Do you plan to fully integrate all available visual composer elements into your theme?

I’m testing your theme. After I installed your theme on my web server, I imported your sample data at your theme option. It was really easy and cool.
I found “WPBakery Visual Composer Settings” at my setting page. But Visual Composer Plugin wea not installed by default.
And I wondered how to create a frontpage slider. So I looked up your documentation material
here.
It seems you’re using Visual Composer Plugin to make frontpage slider.
However, as you said here, “We fully integrated the visual composer in our theme, so we did not used as a plugin. Unfortunately to add new elements in our version of you need to modify the code.”
I was confused what it means exactly.
1. Does it mean I can make frontpage slider without the Visual Composer Plugin ?
Or Your theme is so made that only installation of Visual Composer plugin is enough to work with your theme ? So Do I have only to buy premium “Visual Composer” and install it on my server ?
I’m not familiar with your theme yet.
