I want to create a new page template using Page Builder (Visual Composer). Then I want to use that page template as category template.
I know how to create a new page layout using Visual Composer but I don’t know I will set this page layout as the default layout for category pages.
Is there a way to change the number of columns, image size, and remove the post meta info (page views, comment count), and in alphabetical order, without creating a custom block/module?
I’m trying to create a page that lists my company’s staff from a custom post type. But obviously it doesn’t need post views and comment counts. Nor does it need to display content from the post.
I could easily create the page using Visual Composer, but I have a lot of staff, so I would like to have the listing paginated, preferably the Load More button. I also would need to use just a normal thumbnail size due to the portrait nature of each person’s photo. The aspect ratio of the thumbnails in Block3 just doesn’t lend itself to portraits of people.

This question was not theme related, therefore as the community should I took part in helping this user with his theme unrelated question. We found the cause of his problem it was one of his plugins.
So that the theme developers could be able to answer theme related threads. But for some reason they prefer to waste their time with resolved non theme related issues instead of helping with theme related issues.

I saw your thread, its kind of complicated (to me), but I think the developers have the duty to help the customers, just as they advertise everywhere with those non-sense graphics. Once they don’t, and use customers time to do all the work, maybe they should split their comission with customers… What about a half priced value, hah?! That’s my suggestion.

I’m trying to figure out how best to create a custom template for a CPT that I have.

My CPT is basically just people in our company. Obviously this can be done easily using Visual Composer and create a page. However, I need to be able to create the same design for use as the the archive template for the CPT.
What would be the best way to go about this?

Seems like you havent updated integrated Visual Composer since the initial release of Newspaper. Will you refresh the packed by version with Newspaper v2.0 or arent you planning to do it at all?

Because sometimes the size of element of the plugins is too big or small which does not fit our site, so I really want to have a full customization on this. Please help me out so I can know how to customize item on Visual Composer.
By the way, I want to put specific content on the side bar for each post, is it possible? For example, for a device review, I want to post a short description for each device on the post about pros and cons. Can I do that? I don’t want to create a page without a sidebar because the feature image, the rating score and the comments are too big.

1. If you use the Homepage-with article list, Homepage-bg+article list templates you cannot change the latest posts to show on the top of the page.
If you use the Default Template, Homepage – bg-no article list, Homepage blank or Page builder – with title templates you can change the latest posts to show on the top of the page from visual composer.

Please try to reupload the theme. Maybe it got corrupted in the transfer process.
Also do you have the visual editor from wordpress enabled?
What server do you have? Shared vps etc?
visual composer should not be broken in the theme, it’s well tested and we are using it for the last 9 months (multiple versions).

Sometimes, the block titles don’t show well in Mac computers with webkit based browsers (Safari and Chrome).

Weird, because in the first example, only show bad the Facebook widget title. In the other examples, show bad all the titles. And in other post/pages, show wells all the titles.

I have a lot of mac visitors in my site. It’s important to granted that they visualize well the site.
I setup a custom post type and wanted to loop through it on a page while preserving the theme, sidebars, etc. Ideally I’d want to create something like a custom block using something like the visual page editor to control how my custom posts display on a page. However, that’s probably not realistic.
So, my questions would be:
1. Is there a “blank” page template with just the settings in the theme available? Something that I can use as a base for setting up my page?
2. Is there a template for creating blocks so users could take your existing blocks and tweak them to maybe fit a custom post type or something else?
