Jetpack by WordPress.com (running only protect and photon) – I’ve tried disabling and enabling photon countless times to see if it’s because of it, it is not.

My head hurts. What I expected to be an easy extract and install press of a button turned out to be hours of testing to see what the hell is wrong.
Already did some search on your forums before making this post. If you’ll recommend me to turn off image loading animation effect(lazy loading) won’t cut it for me as it was the major point that sold me your theme. Running your theme only with your recommended wp plugins also won’t cut it.

For the moment I’ve stopped using your theme. Will try it on a clean wp install in the next few day (even if does work won’t solve my current problem).

Till then, I need your help.

After updating to the 3.1 version of the Newsmag theme this morning, the front page of our website has been altered. Though we have settings arranged for the Block 1 and Block 2 grids, the thumbnail images and headlines have been shifted into one left-aligned column. It also looks as if the right sidebar has shifted toward the left. The posts, at least, seem to be displaying correctly.

I did also update all of the plugins: visual composer, social counter, and speed booster. If someone could please offer guidance on how to get the front page fixed on our site, I would really appreciate it.

I just updated the theme, but the website still runs very slow. the speed booster info shows like this “v4.5 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: adminer/adminer.php”.

also the social media icons on the pages home page we can’t link to our social media account, such as Facebook and twitter.

the website has two sites, English and Chinese. on English site, some not translated and still show in Chinese, if you guys can help me to fix it.

I have a real issue with the facebook sharing of my posts. Example:

But the post has been created just like the next one (http://www.alfaromeoblog.it/bolzano-mano-armata/). As soon as I create a post, i add the main image as per wp settings, but it is skipped. And cannot understand why.
The fact is that, if i scrape again with the sharing debugger tool, it gets corrected.

Any hints?

I installed the mobile theme on my website, it looks amazing and super happy with the look, but there are a couple of things that are not working now.

1) Any custom code i have inputted through the child theme is now not being loaded (I have overwritten the core mobile files in my child theme). Could this be something with the function.php not allowing me to overwrite the files?

2) On the homepage, half my content has gone missing. Does the mobile theme only allow for certain modules? And how may i be able to change this to get my content back (preferably without disabling the mobile theme plugin as speed and look is fantastic).

And i thought i could get more speed if i fix the blocking javascript and css styles above the fold.
But i tried the steps in your manual, but there is nothing changing. The js and css styles are still slowing down my website.

Is it possible to use your theme with a simple design, like what the themes Bimber and FlexMag, without the visual composer plugin ?

This theme offer a lot of good designs, but has a lot of flaws, like lack of speed, sometimes duplicating the home page of the website.

For example, Bimber and FlexMag theme offer a good design, and their themes only uses the WordPress tool to customize the theme, and, of course, without the framework, it offers a tremendous speed thanks to their theme.

If there is no solution to change your NewsPaper theme (or theme NewsMag)

Hope you soon launch a new theme for news, which can have a good design without visual or compose framework.

Please how to add a short description just before the feature image? (it is very good for SEO)

I think that maybe more simple if you could move the location of the image for an example after the first paragraph of the article, which could be applicable to all articles of the website.

(Like advertising plugins that have options for adding advertising after the 1st paragraph, or the second, etc.)

I think you have noticed that all sites that have a good ranking, a good seo, use the same style (a description before the image)

Please check my website speed in gooogle page insight, pingdom tools, gtmetrix etc. Its too bad. I am using supercache, speed booster of tagdiv and also did as Chrish S posted. But the score in pingdom within 70 -_- . Its totally annoying. Please help.

I am using the Custom Permalinks Plugin (by By Michael Tyson) which is useful for creating .html pages.

I checked the Newspaper System Status and Speed Booster has disabled itself. The comment says the following: v4.2 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: custom-permalinks/custom-permalinks.php

Is Speed Booster needs to increase speed of my website http://www.aerospaceguide.net, if so how do I get it to work again?

Do you know any other custom permalinks plugins?

I recently got to know that the developers can use WebP support on their themes to help make website load faster without letting the webmaster do anything. So, I wanted to put up a request (if possible) to add the WebP image format support on the themes inbuilt 🙂 It would be great! And, the page speed would increase dramatically!
