Is there a possibility to change the logo image according with the selected language?
We use WPML as language selector, the client has a logo with a text inside, one in italian, and one in polish. Is it possibile, when we change between the languages, that the logo change with the right text?
We have try to change the language in admin, and upload a the logo again, but it’s overwrite the previous logo.

Tried searching for this but was unsuccessful in finding what I needed.
I would like to translate the modal loginfuntion using the default pro template from english to swedish.
Can’t seem to find the strings to do so in WPML.
Does this have to be done in the backend?

After I have upgrade Newspaper theme to 10.3.2, our translated content became unloadable.. Site gives 503 Service unavailable Error.. If I deactivate the Newspaper theme and choose something a standard theme, the translated content loads without any error..

What about security? Even after upgrading to Newspaper X (following your steps), WP says we are still using WP Bakery 5.2.1 while the latest and updated version is 6.1.
Our main objective while upgrading is to improve security and solve that issues using theme’s latest version available.
May we rest thinking our site is safe and all plugins are up-to-date with Newspaper X?

The category can be set from theme panel per language on individual category like this -> https://i.imgur.com/fRMV7Br.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kpfKEGn.png -> https://i.imgur.com/MdvW1Qc.png, but this will not work for the entire theme panel, also if you want to set a global category template you need to use the string translate -> https://prnt.sc/rzttja -> https://prnt.sc/rztww9

What you can do is to use cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud library per each language. Also please provide some more details on what do you want to translate an we’ll try to help to achieve what you need.

Two languages by WPML.
We have some problem with WPML on the Newspaper theme.
Here is how we process different interface now.
Footer:
by Page in different languages.
Category template:
We CANNOT modify 2nd or other language category template, such as category background image. The 1st(main) language style will become messy if we work on it.
Request:
1. The theme panel config values should be saved individually for the different language interfaces. It seems all language interface used the same theme panel config.
2. How to apply the WPML on Newspaper themes in right(official ways). Request for update on your manual.

Now WPML fixed my string table and I can use string translation!!
However, I still cannot scan the string ‘view all results’.
I found that you can search 178 strings from newspaper (you picture -> https://prnt.sc/rv7lon) but I can only find 51 strings (https://imgur.com/0JvQOYT) . Probably it is the reason? How can I solve it?
I genuinely use follow your string translation method (WPML finally fixed my string table and I can use it now!!). My website has 3 langauages zh-hant (default), zh-hans and EN.
The English header and footer shows properly now! But zh-hans header in single post is still not correct. (I have set properly in website manager and then now string translation).

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps, also the wp_memory_limit it need to be more the 256mb because the WPML need it too, I think 512mb will be enough.
If there is still a problem, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme plugins and WPML, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

But newspaper theme is very tricky because the functions are
For example, when you use WPML to translate theme option, you actually cannot set it in theme panel, or just set it in website manager when it comes to single post/ search/ etc. You need to use string translation. There is no instruction on this on documentations to tell you beforehand. It is normal users to think that cloud templates are automatically connected to the header and footer of their respective languages.
For the header live search, you must use directory to show languages. If you use /?lang=*, search results will only be shown in default language. I took hours to search posts but could not find this answer.
I spent 3 weeks to learn and use Newspaper theme to build my website, with many overnights to investigate all these mentioned above.
Refund will just waste all my efforts. I have no way back but just keep on đ
I have tried and everything is like on the Polylang’s documentation, but it doesn’t work. I have also tried to deactivate the plugin but it doesn’t change. What can I do? Happens only on the mobile version.
WPML is a premium plugin, I have no budget for premium plugins.

We are developing a new version of our main website. This new version is at first designed for 2 different “areas”: Belgium (French) and Luxembourg (French). Another “language” will be added in the coming months and will cover Belgium (Dutch).
To do so, we use WPML in addition to Newspaper theme. We have therefore two languages configured and that are translated using string translations. The menus and the taxonomy are also translated.
Our problem: the Mega menu in the header works fine on the default language, but does not load in the other language. For the header, we use a Cloud template that we redesigned afterwards. Still, I don’t why the Mega menu does not load when I hover it?
Note: we do not use any child theme, and we tried disabling the other plugins. Does not help. + all the lights are green in the panel!

I use WPML. My website has 3 langauges, en/ zh-hans/ zh-hant.
No matter which language I am on, the header live search only searches posts from my default language (zh-hant).
I was told to switch from Polylang to WPML. I paid it and I did it. So far nothing is improved (cant show string translation, unable to translate footer, categories of non-default-languages in TagDiv Composer are not shown on the filter of blocks)

2) When I click into menu sync of WPML, it crashes. It mades me unable to sync languages of menu.
3) I have assigned headers and footers in the manager of TagDiv Composer to respective languages, both in homepage and Single post. The homepage works fine. The header and footer of single post is strange. For example, in English single post, the header menu and footer menu are translated but the pictue of the header and the text of footer are not translated.
I have made English/ Traditional Chinese/ Simplified Chinese of headers and footers.
4) I want to show the language code in URL for all languages, including default languages.
The problem is after I click scanning the whole theme, WPML said it found 128 strings. But on the string translation page, nothing is displayed.

Indeed WPML plugin is quite complicate.

I bought WPML because I thought it can do theme option translation.
I dont see why WPML is more compatible than Polythan with Newspaper.
Also in WPML it cannot find any strings in string translation system. I have scanned 128 strings in newspaper theme but it just doesnt show up in string translation system.
But Polylang string translation system can find all necessary strings.

I have set per language a new homepages and a new header templates.
But the all homepages only show the header template assigned in theme panel.
It is because the theme option is still not translatable. I can only set the header and footer templates to one of the language. The theme option setting overrides the translation system in WPML.
