Newspaper 7, version question & gdpr compliance

Apologies for lack of technical knowledge. I have version 7.2 of newspaper 7. No updates showing on my dashboard.

Is this going to be gdpr compliant? What do I need to do if it’s not?

If you want to make update please make first a full backup, you can get the last version of theme 9.1 here https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 , also you can check the news that get the theme since the v7.2
