After activating the “td-speed-booster” plugin, the speed results have dropped and a black stripe appears in the header when loading the site. This is normal? Or do I need to do some configuration?

Hi,
The speed booster plugin will move the stylesheet and javascript loading to the bottom of the page. This should improve the website speed by simply activating the plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Activating it should not cause the header menu to be black, that is unusual.
The plugin status will appear in the theme status section, it will not be active if it detects plugins that are not part of a predefined list. This is implemented because the booster could cause some plugins to not function correctly. The check could be disabled with the solution provided in this topic

Hi,
Basically these are the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also these WordPress and server parameters should be according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The recommended caching plugin is the WP Super Cache
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you would like to use the booster with different plugins, the only way is to disable the check as mentioned in the topic. Then it will always be active.
Thanks

Hi,
There seems to be an issue with the admin-ajax process, the server is returning a service unavailable error from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xQQqWY6JpE
You could contact your hosting provider, maybe they can provide some information about why this is happening. Please also check the theme system status and ask the hosting to make modifications if needed, to these parameters

Thanks
Look at Digital Ocean’s response. http://prntscr.com/hm8y2s
I do not know what to do, it’s all set up correctly.
Hi,
I believe that is an automatic response, they will have to look into this. In other similar cases the admin-ajax is blocked by the server or a security plugin as a result of the multiple calls it makes for various aspects of the theme. Like this situation for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
There it was solved by a security setting in Cpanel, that was denying access. There would be nothing we can do in this case from the theme perspective. Keep trying to contact them and let us know the results.
Thanks
I contacted Digital Ocean again. See the answer: http://prntscr.com/hmg3dl
I discovered the problem.
I use CloudFlare as well, and I have a “Page Rules” setting that protects Wp-Admin access from attacks and this admin-ajax.php file stays inside Wp-Admin, so I disabled the setting in “Page Rules” and it worked the infinite loading.
But now I need to figure out how to protect Wp-Admin without blocking the admin-ajax.php file. Any solution?
Hi,
Maybe you can create exceptions to prevent the admin-ajax.php blocking. That would be the only way besides leaving it disabled

Hello,
Sorry but we have not tested any ad inserter plugin so I cannot make any recommendation.
The only plugins compatible with speedbooster can be seen here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Thanks.
