Your suggestion is quite good and I will update the message and the permissions for the nag screen. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience, I know it’s an extra step but we add it to prevent mass piracy of the theme.

You can use the same key on your dev servers and domains – we have no intention to limit that. Only when one gets out on the forums we block it.

@lrajabi the social counter has caching and it should not make requests on each page load / page. We work very hard to make the theme as fast as possible and the counter will support async requests in a future version.

I do not know if I understand you correctly but we don’t send any emails and the message that appears in the theme is just a warning and it does nothing else.

The system was developed to stop mass piracy of the theme and I know this is an extra step for paying customers but we tried to make it very easy to use.

we added the theme validation message to prevent the piracy of the theme a bit. The activation system does not update the theme automatically, it’s there just to verify the key.

I’m sorry that you are having so many problems with our theme and I’m almost sure that the problems are because our documentation is not good enough yet (we will fix this asap) and some of the features are a little bit strange to use. I can give you the full amount that you payed for the theme back but if by any chance you decide to stay with us I’m replying to your questions below.

1. I do not understand the question. We are working to put a demo for the video playlist live.

Hi Christopher,
the jquery from google apis is loaded from the speedbooster plugin. Some time ago I changed the jquery path to use is_ssl() from wordpress http://screencast.com/t/RDuiivrSn0wr . Do you have the latest version? or is_ssl is not reliable?

In the next update I will change the html5shim to is_ssl and also bump up the jquery version to wordpress 4’s one.

if you are using the nginx cache, it may be possible that the request will be cached even via ajax. I would recommend that you use w3 total cache with a lower caching time like 1 hour.

I know that there are some users that requested that we implement custom layouts on category pages… This particular feature is VERY hard to do right (with pagination support and also the possibility to change the second page). No other theme has this kind of feature because of that.

We have over 150 feature requests and we have to allocate resources very carefully to the ones that benefit the most users.

@Gee95 td_less_editor-style.php is the style compiler for tinymce. If you like the tinymce with no style, you can delete it. It is only used for the editor in the backend.

the links are controlled by wordpress + .htaccess, not by the theme . To test this, please activate one of the default wordpress themes and check the links again. (Backup your data before any experiments).
