Hi

I’ve checked your site and noticed that your using an older version of the theme and also Visual Composer it’s outdated.
After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6, and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.

I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

If test the accordion element on my side and the sections are works fine.
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, deactivate the child theme, clear all caches, purge cdn file if you’re using then test again.
You can also try to setup a new wp-install on a sub-domain or on your local computer using this configuration:
– WordPress V 4.5
– Newsmag theme V 2.3.6
– Visual Composer plugin V 4.11.2
This configuration should work fine so do a few tests with it and check how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi

I assume that you tried to make the mobile menu active on tablets.
To achieve that it’s required a new function in theme’s js which will detect the tablet devices and will apply a specific style for the menu depending by the header style used. Basically you’ll need to rewrite all header style for tablet so the mobile menu to be displayed fine.
We didn’t make any testes to check how mobile menu will work on tablets and the theme don’t have any implementation for this feature. Unfortunately I can’t provide a solution now as the required customizations involve lot of time and also many tests. This new feature should be tested to work with all theme’s header styles on many devices and various browsers.

Thanks!

Hi

The theme won’t get the post subtitle as excerpt because it wasn’t designed like that. However you can set some custom excerpts in post editor: http://screencast.com/t/qUltlMgw46oqhttp://screencast.com/t/zKdp52D7

I hope this helps.

Hi

These are default settings from WordPress but our theme create its own thumbs for each module. Theme’s thumbs can be enabled/disabled from theme panel > block settings: http://screencast.com/t/4r5CKoaUhF
Make sure you regenerate your thumbnails following our guide then test again.

Thanks!

Hi

Yes you will need to create a new thumb size for the slider and the necessary steps are those I’ve shown above.

Hi

The theme don’t have an option to remove the borders as they are part of its grid. However you can change the color for them. For example you can change the border’s color to white and so it won’t be visible: http://screencast.com/t/rz7rwyzAGhttp://screencast.com/t/OAkH4l5ph

I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked the image displayed on the grid and noticed that the thumbnails for it are not generated properly. Try to regenerate all your thumbnails following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ clear all caches then test again.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using pagebuilder + page title as page template for it, that’s why on top appear page’s title: http://screencast.com/t/cvhict5LM You can change the page template to default to remove the title: http://screencast.com/t/3SsOiTk8

Thanks!

Hi

Theme’s modules weren’t intended to display post views number but you can achieve that by adding this code in td_module.php file: http://pastebin.com/SdDQBBBghttp://screencast.com/t/BKRBH2oM After this step it’s completed you have to edit each file corresponding with the modules used on the page and add this line of code here: http://screencast.com/t/HlfHbmm4 The rezult will be like here, ex for module 1: http://screencast.com/t/1bbyOGhOcY

I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

Unfortunately the theme don’t have an option which will refresh the page where new content it’s published. To achieve that you’ll need some customizations in theme’s core files and also many tests.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Also if this is not what you mean please provide more details about what you’re trying to do so I can inspect it closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!

Hi

You can achive that by adding this code in td_module_slide.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/WDnuBzmxSP

$buffy .= '<div class="td-excerpt"">';
$buffy .= $this->get_excerpt(20);
$buffy .= '</div>';
