Hi
I am not sure how you’ve tried to activate the Visual Composer plugin as it comes bundled with our theme and you don’t need any activation code for it. You can ignore the activation message because basically when you bought our theme you got a license for all plugins included in its path.
If this is not what you mean please provie more details about your issue so I can inspect it closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!
Hi
The theme was designed to use featured images only from WordPress install, not from external links. You can try to use a plugin with a similar functionality to achieve that but I can’t make any recommendation in this regard as we didn’t tests and I am not sure how these plugins will work with our theme.
Thanks!
Hi
We released a new theme’s version and now the jQuery conflict it’s fixed, also we included latest Visual Composer’s version which works fine with WordPress 4.5. Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6 and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ clear all caches and test again.
Thanks!
Hi
The theme does not have an option to enable/disable any of sharing buttons. However you can remove Google and Pintrest by editing td_module_single.php and deleting these lines of code: http://screencast.com/t/rU8TZ0D1z1q8 – http://screencast.com/t/thAVXu6Fen
Thanks!
Hi
@Sid glad you’ve managed to fix this.
@Christophera we modified only the tagdiv_theme.js file in order to fix a iQuery conflict and included latest version of Visual Composer plugin.
Thanks!

Hi
To remove more from author section just comment this line from td_block_related_posts.php file: http://screencast.com/t/aFD0G6KvE – http://screencast.com/t/jUrHMjZdT
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
You can use one of theme’s header styles which have a full width layout, for ex header style 9 or 10. For more details check our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-header-styles/
To make the footer and sub-footer full width check this topic, I’ve posted a solution here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/footer-width-2/
Thanks!
Hi
Please refer to our documentation for more details about banner ads usage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/
As an example this is a valid banner ad code which will work for all devices:
<div class="td-visible-desktop">
<a href="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rec728.jpg"/></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-tablet-portrait">
<a href="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rec728.jpg"/></a>

<div class="td-visible-phone">
<a href="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rec728.jpg"/></a>

Hi
First we would want to apologize for any inconvenience you have had using our theme.
The last update was meant only to fix the jQuery conflict which appeared after wordpress’s last update and also to include the latest version of Visual Composer plugin which works fine with new wp version. we didn’t added any new feature yet but we work at a major update for Newsmag which currently is in development.
I can’t say for sure how much time will pass until the new update will be ready but we do our best to have it ready as soon as possible. However we have to make sure that the new theme’s version it’s optimized for best performances and all its features will work fine. This require a bit of time and lots of tests on different browsers and devices.
With regard at issues of actual theme’s version with Woocommerce plugin I am not really sure what you mean so please provide a link where I can inspect this and more specific details in this regard. I’ve made a few tests and Woocommerce V 2.5.5 works fine with current version of Newsmag that’s why I am a bit unsure at what you’re referring. If you have any issues related with theme’s functionality which affect and Woocommerce please open a new topic and provide all necessary details so we can insect this.
Thanks for your message!
