Hi

There is jQuery conflict and some of theme’s features are affected. We investigate this and will release an update in shortest time possible. Meanwhile you can add this line in tagdiv_theme.js file as a temporary fix: http://screencast.com/t/Ur4jw4L6Z8

jQuery("a[href*='#']").click(function(e) {

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi

The above code works only for one or more category pages, that depends by the selectors used. To have the same style for posts you need to adapt the css for each post using post-id selector. The code would be

.postid-12, .postid-13, .postid-14 {
/*background code goes here;*/
}

This code will display the same background for posts with ids 12, 13, 14 so you can use the same implementation in your case.

Thanks!

This issue it’s caused by a jQuery conflict which affect the theme after latest wp update. We will release a new update in shortest time with all require fixes. Meanwhile leave the lazy load animation incative or try to add this line of code in tagdiv_theme.js file as a temporary fix: http://screencast.com/t/Ur4jw4L6Z8

jQuery("a[href*='#']").click(function(e) {

Hi

I am not sure where exactly you want to add custom ads in header. Basically this can be done using do_shortcode function. For more details please check this topics: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-header-ads-according-to-category/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sub-page-no-standard-top/

Hi

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist deactivate lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/y8CTxGuyMMu

Thanks!

Hi

On our demo we use module 12 for page layout. To achieve a similar layout you can use page-builder+latest as template and chose in post loop settings module 12: http://screencast.com/t/RULlgihyaX The excerpt length can be set from theme panel > excerpts: http://screencast.com/t/pBR62jAMIcPS
I hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hi

This is an banner ad example which work fine with the theme:

<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rec728.jpg"/></a></div>

Just replace the actual links your links and should work fine.

Hi

Changing infinite load feature it’s a complex task and unfortunately I can’t provide a solution at the moment.
I’ve added this on our todo list and when the time comes our developers will consider it. This may take some time because we have a long implementation list and we take them one by one.

Thanks.

Hi

The current theme’s version available on themeforest, V 2.3.5 is not tested with V 4.5 of WordPress and we can’t guarantee that will work 100% correct. We will test it in shortest time possible and when it’s all ready will make an announcement.

Thanks!

Hi

This errors happens when you try to access the theme’s index.php file directly, usually it displays a Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header(). You can find more info about this in this tread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fatal-error-3/ and add a redirect rule for it.
That is a problem related with a WordPress file and it could be caused by some plugin. Try to login in your ftp account and rename the plugins folder from …/your-wp-install/wp-content/plugins then try to login again. Here you can find more details about this process: https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F

Hope this help.

Hi

The above code apply the background color for the same sections as this option from category settings: http://screencast.com/t/zhnLfxP2Lfbhttp://screencast.com/t/au8otM9E
If this is not what you mean please provide more details about what you’re trying to do, also a screen pointing the desired rezult would help.

Thanks!

Hi

First make sure you do a full backup of your current wp-install and to the database also, here is the WordPress official documentation in this regard: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups This is a security measure, just in case something goes wrong with the update process, you can always get back to the previous version.
After this step it’s done you can make the transition in two ways:
– put the site in maintenance mode using a specific plugin for that: https://www.sourcewp.com/best-wordpress-maintenance-mode-plugins/ then install our theme and make all necessary adjustments
– make test sub-domain and upload all content from your live site, with your current theme installed then switch at Newsmag and adjust the site. By making a second domain your live site won’t be affected and you can make any tests with our theme without any risk.

I hope this help.
Thanks!

Hi

This can be achieved using some custom css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: For example if you have a category with named Apple and its slug is apple you can use this css to add a gradient background color: http://pastebin.com/Gf0qn6aXhttp://pastebin.com/Gf0qn6aX

I hope this help.
Thanks!

Hi

This error may occur when someone try to access the index.php file directly and and it shouldn’t be picked up by google’s crawler. Try the solution indicated by Lucian in this tread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fatal-error-3/ to add a redirect rule for it.

Hope this help.
