Smart sidebar features is made by js and to change it you will need a new approach for it. The function which create the animation can be found here: http://screencast.com/t/OD0w4vugVz You can try to modify it but it’s quite difficult and some coding skills are required to complete the task.
If you can’t do it by yourself my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation as we can’t offer custom work at the moment.

The theme don’t have any option to append images fro menu items. To achieve that you will need some customizations. You can either try to modify the html structure of the main menu or add the image via css on pseudo element.

The links from pagination are generated by wordpress, the theme don’t affect them. To inject the indicated attribute are required some changes directly in wp-core or a custom pagination function which generate a different html structure.
This is a very complex task which involve lots of customizations and also time to be completed. The theme does not control how Facebook display content picked by its sharer. Indeed it usually works without the scrape but this is not theme’s related, if you check our demo this issue is not there. Sometimes facebook won’t index automatically a new post because of huge amount of data which must be fetched. So you can “force” facebook to index your post by running a fresh scrape as I’ve indicated above.
Also there can be a slow response from the server. When facebook read the page which is shared, it won’t wait to much for requested data. If the response is to slow or for some reasons is blocked the content won’t be displayed properly. You can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear the caches and check if the problem is still there.

Theme layout relay on a fixed width by 1068px. All blocks, modules, rows and post templates are designed starting from this value. There is no easy way to make container’s width 100% as this is a very complex task which involve many customizations and tests in order to be achieved. Basically all theme’s layout must be re-designed.
Unfortunately I can’t provide a solution at the moment as we can’t offer customization services. If you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Theme’s layout relay on a fixed width by 1068px and there are no options to change this value. Also all theme’s blocks and modules have fixed sizes for featured image. The slide uses different thumbs depending by layout used for it bu non of theme are squares. The size of any element can be changed only adjusting theme’s code.
