Hi

You can choose a custom sidebar for for blog template and for all posts from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/zHUga7hYM0

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

HI

You can set a default sidebar for categories from theme panel > categories section like this: http://screencast.com/t/fKdcqxyuyDmhttp://screencast.com/t/HRzj9JfoGfE Posts will automatically inherit the sidebar from category if they don’t have a custom sidebar set in post editor: http://screencast.com/t/HRzj9JfoGfE

With regard at background it’s recommended a hd image for a better quality also use stretch option to make it cover the entire page: http://screencast.com/t/5NJMZBw9LROb

Thanks!

HI

Theme’s blocks were designed to be displayed on in a container by 1068px. To achieve a full width layout are required many customizations in theme’s core files, basically all layout must be rewritten.
This is a very complex task which involve lots of customizations and also time to be completed. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi

I understand your point of view, nowadays time is very precious. With regard at support for revolution slider plugin is no much we can do. We tested the plugin with our theme and works fine. However we didn’t developed this plugin and we can’t change or provide explicit infos about a specific feature.
I’ve made a few tests on my side and seems that the tabs can be renamed by editing this title: http://screencast.com/t/glQtvWhBm Also you have other options for tabs here: http://screencast.com/t/A16g4D4o

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

Try to update the theme according with our documentation and make sure you do a clean update. By this I mean that you have to delete the old version of the theme and upload a fresh copy in WordPress or directly on the server via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
During the update process deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer and after the update clear all caches, purge the cdn if you’e using then test the site again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi

We didn’t changed that setting, the indicated option is by default set like this when WP Super Cache plugin is installed.
Thanks!

Hi

There is no need for ftp, the issue is most likely related by how queries are made for your custom taxonomy. Unfortunately I can’t debug or provide support in this regard as this task involve many investigations and also some tests in order to be completed.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi

Demo won’t affect your site’s content. If you import the demo with content your pots will remain untouched, this also happens if you want to uninstall the demo.

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked the indicated link and the issue is no longer visible. Moreover I’ve noticed that you changed the position of image’s caption which may lead to some issues in some circumstances. I’ve also made a few tests on my side and couldn’t duplicate the issue.
Keep in mind that the theme is carefully tested and it works as expected. You changed lots of theme’s default features and those changes may cause issues. As a reference you ca do a test install on a sub-domain or on your local computer only with Newspaper theme and the plugins included in its path. Like this you will be sure that any possible issue is not caused by a plugin or by some customizations.

With regard at Speed Booster I can say for sure that the plugin works fine. From above resources only on is called by the theme, the fonts from google. Anyway Speed Booster will move any css.js resource it’s added in code and also if the plugin is active in System Status. Check this link for more detail in this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-%e2%80%8b%e2%80%8bbooster-akismet-php-problem/

Thanks!

Hi

@Sasser
The theme is written according with WordPress standards and it’s optimized for best performances. However there are many factors which can influence site’s load time. I’ve checked your site with google page speed and noticed that is not optimized for a good performance. As @Chris pointed you ca uses our page speed guide as a start.

I’ve checked your site with google page-speed and from its reports I’ve noticed that there are a few images which slow the load time. Try to optimize the images following google’s docs: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/OptimizeImages Also you can use leverage browser cache to reduce the size of the css/js resources served by the server: https://gtmetrix.com/leverage-browser-caching.html
To move render-blocking resources in page’s footer you can use Speed Booster plugin. We covered in our documentation at point 5 how this plugin can be used.

Other useful information about page speed can be found in these topics: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/help-moving-style-css-and-fonts-googleapis-com-to-footer/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-questions/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-view-problem-3/

Hope this helps.

To work on single posts you need to edit td_module_single_base.php and add the same condition here: http://screencast.com/t/k1s2AplZNEAR

Hi

I am not sure but those errors could affect the back-end and broke Visual Composer plugin. Try to fix the errors, clear the cache and test the site again.

HI

You can set a white color for borders from theme panel > theme > colors: http://screencast.com/t/yTbdMoUXrs Like this those borders will be invisible on a white background.

Thanks!

Hi

We never tested Ad-sense plugin with our them and we’re not aware of its functionality or how it works and we can’t provide an accurate answer in this regard, sorry.
If there is a conflict between Speed Booster and Ad-sense the causes can be multiple and to debug this issue are required some tests and most likely code customization. Speaking from a technical point of view your issue is most likely related with some css which is not properly applied. Here is a possible reason: Speed Booster moves theme’s style to footer which means that it will be among the last css codes applied on the page and most likely will override plugin’s style. This may cause the layout issue, but again is just a assumption.
We know how Speed Booster works but this does not help to much if we don’t know how Ad-sense plugin does.
As my colleague Catalin pointed we can’t offer customization services and making one plugin compatible with another, which is the case now, falls beyond the support can offer.
If you can’t manage to fix this you can allays find a developer or a freelancer on sites like
https://studio.envato.com/ to help you with implementation.

Thanks for your message and for your understanding!

HI

The theme display slides made with revolution slider with plugin’s layout, it does not change their functionality or layout in any way. Revolution Slider it’a a very complex plugin with many options and it may take some time until you can understand it. Please follow plugin’s documentation and also play a bit with its options to get more familiar with it.
Thanks!

HI

All theme’s css is stored in style.css file. However you can create your own custom css using the selectors for each element: http://screencast.com/t/mVs8wCWMIu Use browser’s inspector to identify the proper selector. We made a tutorial which may be helpful in this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hope this helps.
Thanks!
