I assume that there is a conflict between Visual Composer and another plugin. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.

I can’t point exactly to a solution but I assume that the issue is related with the usage of query_posts() function after the loop. You can try to use pre_get_posts hook to alter the query as it’s a beater approach in this regard: https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/pre_get_posts

1. The search bar is somehow tied by header menu because of js: http://screencast.com/t/EpkujBGj3 To move that box in another container is required a new approach for it, new selectors, new js. This is a quite complex task which involve many customizations in order to be achieved. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

2. nfortunately the theme don’t have an option to make the menu stinky only for desktop. However you can use this this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css to achieve a similar rezult:

3. Theme’s ad system is tested and works fine, also on your site in most cases the ads are disputed fine: http://screencast.com/t/fDBNfEysS However the theme can’t control the content delivered by google.
On your site sometimes google deliver blank ads which is a common practice while the site is still under approval process. For more details please check this link: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1208336?hl=en

Try to login on the server via ftp, navigate to your-wp-install/wp-content/themes and delete Newspaper folder. After this step is completed you can try to upload Newspaer.zip file in your wordpress or directly upload Newspaper folder via ftp. There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.

@alanmtzh we didn’t tested this service wit Newspaper theme and we can’t provide an accurate answer in this regard, sorry. Make sure that you followed their documentation when you setup the service and also check if there are no conflicts with some plugins that you have active.

No the patch can’t make the update from 6.7 to 7.4, you will need to update the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ If you made any changes in theme’s core files they must be added again after the update is completed but make sure that they don’t break theme’s functionality.
