Chris, thanks for your suggestions. The exact same error happened the last time I updated WordPress and there was a thread with a fix on this support forum.

I’m not technically knowledgable but this seems like a theme issue. Can you help me fix this? I pay for support.

I would do as Chris suggested, use ftp and overwrite all files that way. worked for me

I tired doing a manual update through WordPress, I deactivated the theme and uploaded the new zip, received this:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Destination folder already exists. /home/financial/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/

Theme install failed.

What did I do wrong?

I have installed the Envator plug to update but no theme tab shows?

Another question…

On pages, my posts seem to change order. is there a way to keep the newest post in the main area and have them go from newest to oldest post. Seems the site randomizes them on each page load?

ok but I have this Grid set to show all categories and still nothing is showing. I have tried setting single category also but no luck.

Understood…so where do I set the category that will appear in the grid? I still can’t figure this out.
