Hi Bettina,
I don’t see the ‘Expand on click’ option in the image block editor, what am I doing wrong?
Hi Anamaria,
Apologies, my post wasn’t clear enough. I have set the font size in the single post cloud template.
What I want to be able to do is also define S, M, L and XL font sizes for use in the WordPress editor: https://imgur.com/a/7dg5FAG
At present, choosing either of those four presets does nothing. The font size always remains as defined in the cloud template.
Anamaria, are there any plans to integrate Turnstile?
Want to start using the Opt-In builder and will need something to help guard against spam sign ups. Although Google Recaptcha is an option, Turnstile would provide a much better user experience.
Would be great to see it added to the list of suggestions.
+1
Hi Anamaria,
Thank you, as always, for the quick response.
The cover block gets me close to what I want but doesn’t achieve the desired overlap effect. Is there any way to get the overlapping edge to stick out, as follows:

I would only want to shift it ~10px up and right. Using the negative top margin doesn’t work as it remains constrained to the container.
Any ideas? Thanks!
+1 to this being added to the development list. It’s now a common feature in many themes, and as stated by petar777 above, vital for page speed.
+1 to adding Threads. API has now been available for a while. Would be very helpful.
Hi Bettina,
I’m still struggling to get the fonts working how I would expect. Currently creating a new website locally and have the following settings:
Use Google Fonts, Use Google Fonts On Mobile, Load Default Fonts – all disabled as seen here: https://imgur.com/a/lbEMGqF
Then, under Website Manager, I have three defined Global fonts – as seen here: https://imgur.com/cytGDhz
Lastly, when creating a page, one of the three Global fonts defined above is set for each element.
Everything looks good in the page creator, yet when I view the published page none of the fonts are loaded. I have to turn ‘Use Google Fonts’ back on in order to get the set fonts to appear.
There are no third-party plugins installed and no caching.
Where am I going wrong?
Hi Calin,
That makes sense, too. Perhaps an option in the theme panel to “keep background image as top layer?”
Best of both worlds. 🙂
Hi Calin,
Thank you for the prompt response.
Is it possible to suggest making background image priority higher than background colour in a forthcoming update? Seems logical that the image should take precedence.
Had a play with colour opacity but couldn’t get the right results, especially on a dark page.
Currently experiencing the issue on a local test site; will send you a link when I have a live example.
Thanks!
Found a workaround, can import a blank cloud template and then copy and paste the code.
Still, would be handy to have an import/export option. One for the suggestions box.
Thanks Anamaria. It’s something I’m working on with a local site at the moment. When it gets pushed to the live site, I’ll let you know so you can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
Unfortunately, the above suggestion doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve set the template for the category, but posts within that category that have previously been assigned a standard pack template aren’t being updated.
Is there a way I can generate a list of all the posts using a standard pack template?
Brilliant, that’ll do the trick nicely. Thank you, Bettina!
Hi Bettina,
Thank you for the advice.
One more question: is there a way to quickly find/list all of the existing blog posts using a standard pack template?
Before we disable the standard pack we need to find all those posts and move them to a different template. Can’t find an easy way of doing this so any help would be appreciated.
This has been sorted, thread can be closed. Thank you!
+1 to the request for a dark mode.
Southview92, did you find a resolution to this? Also wondering about ranking factors when using cloudtemplates.
kubick, was this issue ever resolved?
Hi Anamaria,
The available options don’t fully solve the problem. It would be preferable to have an option to disable lazy load above the fold, or failing that, the ability to exclude certain blocks from lazy load, such as big grids.
Here are some other similar requests:
Lazy Load In Featured Section
Disable lazy load above the fold images
How to disable lazy loading for post featured image
How to exclude big grid images from lazyload ?
If this could be added to the list of feature suggestions I’m sure many of us would appreciate it.
I have often wondered about this as it seems articles using a cloud template do perform less reliably than those on the standard template. I just assumed I was being paranoid. For what it’s worth, we use Yoast.
Also experiencing sub-optimal CLS and LCP performance on mobile. We choose not to use the dedicated mobile plugin, opting instead for the versatility of a single, responsive site. Please make image loading optimisations a priority for forthcoming updates.
Correction. Saw another topic and hitting save in the theme panel settings removes the icon, as well as any additional spacing that was added erroneously.
We had an even larger space at the top of our site on desktop. Had to pull the update.
Also seeing this bug with 12.6.5, and the entire site layout was shifted down. Had to revert 12.6.4.
