Having this problem, too. Hoping a fix is in the works.

Hi Bettina,

I didn’t make my question clear. What I’m unsure about is what happens if Cloud Templates are excluded. Would that mean posts using the templates are also excluded?

Hi Calin,

That works a treat, thank you!

I’m guessing it’s not possible to stick the header and first column without a plugin?

c386

Hi Calin,

That would be most helpful. Here’s a link to an example table: http://tinyurl.com/26eaa32c

Thanks!

I thought that might be the only way, unfortunately we already have thousands of images and making the entire back catalogue unclickable wouldn’t be ideal.

c386

Is there another way to make an image not clickable?

c386

Thank you, Bettina, that’s a useful workaround!

The support from yourself, Anamaria and Calin is what makes this theme worthwhile.

Bettina,

That is marvelous, thank you!

Only, one slight complication. We’re using a responsive page across desktop and mobile; is there anyway the extra class can be defined only for desktop?

It’s Flex Block X, with Module Style 2. Here’s a screengrab.

The Raw HTML element worked perfectly, thank you!

Hi Calin,

Thank you for the quick response. I’m not keen on creating separate mobile pages; a single responsive page is so much easier to maintain.

Appreciate the suggestion nonetheless and thank you for pointing out the left bar that highlights which options can be edited per device. That’s a very useful touch.

Hi Anamaria,

Thank you for the quick response. I’m not keen on the excerpt and title limits, as would prefer to see all the text.

The link to a previous topic has a CSS solution suggested by Calin, but I’m struggling to get it to work. Is the code he posted still valid?

This seems a worthwhile suggestion for a future release, too. Searching the support forum reveals it has been a frequent request, and it would be such a welcome improvement in terms of streamlined, modern design.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but was this feature ever added?

On a Flex Block, for example, it would be handy to be able to specify a different ‘limit post number’ for desktop and mobile.

Hi Bettina,

Thank you for the quick response. We can work around it for now, but if anyone knows a way to make a block immune to injected content, please do feel free to make suggestions.

Hi Calin, good to hear it’s on the list. Hopefully it’s straightforward to implement and available soon. Thank you for the update.

Dear devs, please consider adding a toggle option to the next release.

This has been requested a few times, and it would be really helpful to show the author name without a hyperlink.

Bumping this as I have run into the same issue. Using Flex Block 2 and would really like to be able to make the whole image clickable.

Has there been an update on how review schema has progressed?

We were seeing Google pick up review ratings correctly for a while, but it seems to have stopped working again following recent updates. We do have ‘Reviews System’ disabled in the theme admin panel as we don’t have a need for user reviews, but I presume this wouldn’t affect schema.

Hi Anamaria, thanks for checking.

Seem to have found the root cause; it appears to be an issue with CloudFlare configuration that isn’t yet entirely resolved. Looking into it further and will post back if I have a definitive answer.

@theheritagelab I may have jumped the gun slightly. While it does appear to be fixed on desktop, the spacing issue remains on mobile when using the mobile plugin.

@Anamaria
it would be great to have this fixed on mobile too.

c386

Just a quick update to say this seems to have been fixed in version 12.2. Thank you.

c386

Hi Anamaria, thank you for adding the issue to your list. Was there any news on permanent fix?

c386

Turns out this issue is also affecting the mobile plugin. When viewed from a phone, images are also missing the relevant spacing.

I hope it is something that will be looked into more extensively, as correct image rendering is crucial for any theme.

The reason I ask is that the blanket CSS workaround causes issues in other areas. For instance, if we use a rich layout ‘media and text’ block, the image has a forced 21px bottom border, making the background colour visible. Here is an example.
