Two more requests:

1) Is it possible to change the wording of ‘Overall Score’ via CSS – i.e. could I change that to ‘Our Rating’ or something else?

2) The stars are shown beneath the number. Is there a way to remove the number entirely, and make the stars bigger instead?

Spoke too soon; not quite perfect.

The code to change the star colours only seems to change the first half. So if a score is 3.5, only the first three stars are in the defined colour.

How can I change the colour of all the stars? And would it be possible to make the stars bigger?

The code supplied by Google has the size defined as follows:

style="display:inline-block;width:320px;height:100px"

That didn’t work, as the ad was square, but manually changing the code to the following appears to have sorted it:

style="display:inline-block;min-width:320px;max-width:320px;height:100px"

So I’ve managed to create a template that does almost everything I want it to.

All I need now is the ability to pull an element into a post itself. For example, I have the element ‘Single Post Review Overall’ configured to show the star rating at the top of the template.

Is it possible to use that element, with the same formatting, inside the actual post content? For example I would like to use columns to display pros and cons, and would like it to automatically pull the same star rating across. Any ideas?

We have the page set with a boxed layout – Theme Panel, General Theme Colours, Background Boxed Layout – and that is restricting the ability to stretch rows.

Is there a way to make the box itself wider, forcing the default width of every row to expand across the whole site?

Managed to figure this one out. Rather than use the Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination template for the homepage, I’ve created the whole page manually using the TagDiv Composer. Using the correct block with infinite scrolling was then easy enough.

That’s a shame, Bettina. Please do add this suggestion to the wishlist for the next Newspaper release.

My understanding is that Revolution Slider is included as part of the Newspaper licence. It could probably do what I’m looking for, but seems overkill for just a simple image slider.

Thank you for getting back to me. I think I understand what you mean. Our homepage template is currently set to “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination.”

In this configuration I don’t think there’s an option to add additional blocks below the latest articles. My understanding is that I would have to change to the standard template, i.e. pagebuilder only, and then configure my own blocks for the latest articles and sidebar.

Will have a play with it and see what I can do.

Thank you for the update. The revised CSS code is almost perfect, it correctly removes the post and comment count, however the box in which those stats would be displayed is still visible.
