Okay for folks who need a solution: I managed this by having the feature post and post content display inline and giving the featured image its own CSS class, which I used to limit width and have it float to the left.

Then surely you should update your documentation? Else it’s a big disingenuous to claim “Newspaper comes with a free license for slider revolution” when that license only counts for versions that are several years out of date.

I am running Version 6.6.10. So you stopped supporting Slider Revolution after version 5?

Okay thanks, this worked but took some tinkering because I wanted more than one link per line, so I share what I did in case it helps others:

1. Divide row into three columns [or however many modules you want in a row]
2. Add inner row to each column.
3. Divide each inner row into columns as desired.
4. Then add text and image to inner columns.

Thanks but you send me a screen shot of the image adjustment in flex blocks, which require I link to posts on our site. I need this image to link to an external website, so I cannot use flex blocks or other TagDiv blocks.

So I am trying to adjust the image in an image + text element, which does not have the same image adjustment options.

Any ideas?

I am not trying to make a separate mobile site. The staging site is here: http://newmlp.raisingglobalhealth.org/.

We are trying to switch over from Visual Composure (which worked fine but seems increasingly less supported by the theme) to TagDiv, and it’s the latter I’m struggling with. In the old visual composer I could hide elements on different resolutions. TagDiv seems to have the same option (see screenshot here: https://snipboard.io/wsY6hJ.jpg). However the “on/off” toggle doesn’t actually do anything.

So, for example, if I add a mobile menu in responsive design like so: https://snipboard.io/0T2lmH.jpg [aside, the alignment options also look like they are broken?]

Then even if I tell it to be off for desktop, it still appears: https://snipboard.io/epnA9l.jpg.

It is also a problem in other spaces, for example if I’d like to display three posts in a row on the desktop site but only two on a tablet, I cannot do this. Whatever option I choose gets promulgated to all sizes 🙁 So it just seems like none of the responsive editing I was used to with VC works in TagDiv?

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks, that helped me find it… maybe the documentation should be updated? Since the page you link says Newspaper-tf\plugins, which is where I looked for it before writing on here. And at least for me the code folder was not an intuitive place to look.

The only outdated plugin I’m running is Visual Composer b/c the update has not been packaged with any recent Newspaper releases. Perhaps that was the issue?

Hi Ged, thanks. So you totally uninstalled and then re-installed the standard pack? I suppose I can try that. I’ve been avoiding 11 for a few months in the hopes they’d fix the bugs but if they don’t I’m going to have to try and find a workaround.

I have the same issue. Footer is broken and all blocks are broken with the weird td_block shortcode in their place; also sub-footer is broken with the copyright reverting back to (c)TagDiv. Standard Pack plugin is active while all this is happening. After spending half a day trying to fix with no avail — blocks seem to be missing entirely in Visual Composer for some reason and the Footer options are gone from theme panel — I’ve had to roll back to version 10.3.9 to fix the site temporarily. This is obviously neither ideal nor a long-term solution. Did this user ever find a fix? I seem to not be the only one with challenges but there’s no clear instructions anywhere on the forum as to what has worked for others if “install the Standard Pack” doesn’t fix everything.

Yes, I confirm that I followed all steps on the guide. Also with WPML support we did a clean install of Newspaper + TagDiv Composer + WPML on a test site and recreated the issue. WPML team at a loss; seems to be a problem with TagDiv Composer. Is there a way I can send you screenshots to demonstrate the problem?

That’s what I would need to fix? But I’m uploading those images from an https connection so not sure why that’s not reflected.

Hi Vlad — try what again exactly? I have not been using a child theme or cache plugin, but in any case I’ve now deactivated all but the TagDiv plugins. I also deleted and tried re-uploading images that are being flagged on https://www.whynopadlock.com, but still have the mixed content issue. It seems to be a question of how the theme is processing/uploading images, not about any plugin.

Hey thanks Calin — I actually figured out what it was, will update in case anyone else has the same problem. Normally the Mac equivalent of a right click is achieved by ctrl + click. This doesn’t work with the tagdiv composer. But I set a specific trackpad gesture to mean “right click” via system preferences and that seems to work. Also for new pages I had to create a dummy row in order to be able to use the paste feature, if anyone also runs into that issue.
