Hi Alin, thanks for getting back and your suggestion. But I’m sure you can understand we are not comfortable with giving admin access to live sites. This is a problem that I’m having across several sites and different languages with your theme. Do you have any other suggestion?

If I did modify the php file.. change would be overwritten when I update the theme?

In “/wp-admin/plugins.php” it says. “Speed booster for Newspaper 6 and Newsmag 2.x themes….”

No I did get the file from latest 7.5 install archive. Do I have the wrong file/plugin or is it just the text from your plugin that needs an update?

Thanks! Yes, I had social counter 3.x. After updating the newspaper theme I did not do the “manual” update of the plugin.

I fixed it myself… problem was related to “outdated” Visual Composer plugin.. I updated it according to instructions here and all good now 😀

Great 🙂 This is very nice.

I just need to translate the name of the months to the correct language. I have set the site language in translations and it works for most things. But the names of the months appear in english in this box.

– After the last modification the linebreak was also removed below the post. I only wanted to remove it between the title and the post. If you look at the last jpg I posted you see what I mean. Can we modify the above script?

– Applying what you write about dates I would get dates on all posts for the site, correct? Could showing date only apply for one category? (News)

PS – I should also have the publish date of the post listed at the start of the content

So it would list:

Just one last adjustment (I hope).

As you can see from this image. When I run this in the right column it all looks wrong. The title ends up on the right side and there is a lot of emtpy space. How to get the title aligned right and how to loose that empty line between title and content?

Hi Catalin, thanks for helping out.

I did it all.. removed ALL other plugins. Changed theme, clear cache etc etc.. Same result finally. I got “double” the meny list twice as you can see in this image:

Any idea?

I’m using Visual Composer to arrange the blocks and don’t want to mess it up.

That’s what I did… but site 2 won’t let me touch anything in Theme panel.

I see I can modify the sidebar to add more ads..

What about the area just above the footer and below where the “content” ends?

Hi, still got this problem. I added a newsletter popup and when I try to preview it I also get 404, so looks like something is “broken” on my site. If I can PM you somehow I can send you links to the site so you can have a look.

Hope to have it fixed soo, look forward to using this theme on various sites 🙂

Hi and thanks for the tip.. first part (1) is solved.

I tried both just updating permalinks and then doing it after disabling all plugins but it’s still the same problem. I have 404 in the first section of category and subcategory pages.. Please not that it’s not the entire page that is 404. It’s only the first upper section where I assume category content is supposed to be listed. Below I have “Our latest posts” displaying just fine.
