@walshcreative which version of Newspaper installed? Just wanted to know if the problem is with all version because I have said before we have 11.5.1 (because I don’t remember to update) and was affected to until our partner @breakeven give the solution. I solved it deleting the code and cleaning caches (until doing this second part the redirection to the ads was still happening). I have newspapper in version 11.5.1, I haven´t updated since then (I wait a little to see problems with new version but this time I forgot to update cause I was busy). Which version do you have? (maybe we have old versions or its happening with the new one too)

Same error here, when you enter to website it sends to some publicity page the first time yo enter in. Rarely if you come back to the site it works. I was testing with 3 plugins I updated yesterday but it still happening. Then I come here and see this issue so I think i´m in the same box that this partners of theme xd

Are you crazy putting your user and password in public?

Understood, it could be a good idea to add an option to choose the average words per minute between “average reader (200-250 wpm)” o “advanced reader” (300+ wpm). But its ok, I think my last “reading time plugin” used 250 so thats why in long reviews now we have 2-3 more minutes than before. Many thanks.

I have noticed that when editing an existing post resources comes a little crazy (lot of cpu, i/o and ram uses when opening a post that you want to edit). This was not happening with last wordpress version. I´m using a cloud template for post.

Anyone have noticed this issue?

Just crazy, if this happens so few times its not so important but would like to know why this png are called. It should be asked always if its a general error, not 3-4 times each day…

Error is not being showed for all visitors, only for a so little number of them. I have cleared caches, but the error is still being showed for 5-10 visitors (a little percentage). I´ll test to reinstall the plugin this weekend and if the problem persist I will ask you again.

The problem is in post, so if your tool doesn’t run in post it doesn’t work to me. Anyway and I have said, this problem start after updating not before, so no manually changes, so then my question is: Why is working well before for search console and not now?? It has no sense cause css, font size, images width, all is the same.

I have to said that this update, as I could have read in this support forum since you update it, is causing too many problems.

Same problem here with lightbox. If block option not clicked when creating theme the image doesn’t pop up when clicking.

Not so important for me but just to inform you so it could be solved in future updates.

I had problems with featured images and menu after last wordpress update to 5.6. It was a compatibility problem with the template. Now I have installed new template version 10.3.9.1 and it seems to be working fine again.

Featured images in home page are shown fine with this last update or still the same problem? Its supposed that new version solve this. It´s true? I don´t want to install, reinstall, downgrade and all this if It doesn´t work…

Cleaning caches doesn’t work. I did it yesterday and the only solution is downgrading to WP553 or use enable jQuery migrate helper to change jQuery version.

Yes, that’s the problem. The solution is coming back to wordpress 5.5.3 or used jQuery migrate helper and change the option about js version.

It’s a theme lack of compatibility with wordpress 5.6 so they need to solved it asap and stop saying us that the problem is about a plugin or wathever.
