Oh, also try updating theme and plugins to newest version! I believe that is what helped me. 🙂

I have not tried any of those things that you wrote, but first thing I tested was: edited the new page with tagdov composer, saved there, exited, and then published the page. It turns out, if I save it as a draft, or save changes only in tagdiv composer – changes wont be saved. It only works if the page is published.
It seems like a bug to me. Please look into it.

Hi. I have similar issue. Although in my case there are no loading icons, and it shows that it saved the changes:

No idea what is going on.

I have edited wp-config.php file in the WordPress root directory, and added (IT WAS NOT THERE AT ALL) the line:
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’ );

Now the 40MB problem is gone, but Im not sure if that line shouldn’t have been there already and if this is the right way to do it.

Same here. No idea why it says only 40, when it is set 128. Weird stuff.

Does the theme authors understand what we actually need?
We know that there are Social Login plugins available, that do the job, but the topic is about native integration of one of those plugins, that would allow social login buttons in Log In MODAL. Thats all we want.
I have tried some code adjustments I found on other topics – did not work. It does get the buttons in MODAL, but messes up the structure and other MODAL menus…

Hi. It’s good to see that others also need similar functionality. It is obvious that in the future more and more people will be hosting videos on their own servers, for simple reason – Youtube is an enemy of a free speech.
This simple implementation, allowing to use Video Post Templates with local video files, would really be great.

I have edited the code as it is in example above, I did get the Social login icons displayed in modal, but now when i press password recovery button or Create an account button, the modal does not show anything. It shows only the primary log in modal window, but nothing else. Any ideas here?

Also the URL of the code for mobile integration does not work. Could you please repost it?

After deactivating all plugins and activating one by one found that the problem is caused by WP Statistics Plugin.

WOW. Same thing with Theme Panel. NOTHING works, anywhere I press, it just jumps to the top. Only thing that opens any settings is IMPORT/EXPORT. Thats it.
What is going on??

Unfortunately I cannot provide the login details at this point, due to the fact that this project is very delicate.
But maybe these images will help you understand what I am talking about.
This is the simple Embed that I can do native with wordpress by adding media to post, uploading video file to my uploads (through media tab):

The question is/was, is it possible in some way to use LOCALLY hosted video file the same way as this Youtube video is used with Post Template 11 (video templates)?

It’s some sort of misunderstanding happening.
I know how to embed video in a simple post templates – I just add Media, and upload the video to the server, and it works. BUT, I want to add LOCAL video to the VIDEO POST TEMPLATES, so the video would be at the FEATURED VIDEO location, of those post templates.

“Featured Video

Featured Video will work only if you are using Video Format.

To set a Featured Video for your post just place your Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Facebook video link in the required featured video post box.

Video Format is perfect if you have a video and you want to show it in the beginning of your post.

On pages, the video preview displayed will be generated automatically. After you update the post you can see the generated preview image in the Featured Image post box.

Note: You should use Featured Video only on:

Post Style Default
Post Style 1
Post Style 2
Post Style 9
Post Style 10
Post Style 11”

So the WORDPRESS does support local video embed. The THEME does not, because when I enter the URL of local video, it shows nothing at the featured video place of the video post theme.

I want to embed locally hosted videos into the Video post templates of Newspaper theme 🙂 Clearly that is not possible.

So, if I understand correctly, at this time it is only possible to embed Youtube, facebook and other major video sources to the Video Templates of a post?
The local or other source of video can be embeded only in the text space?

Hi! Yes, I understand that there is a native wp video embed feature, but I would like to use the themes’ video styles, and place a video in a same beautiful spots where the “featured video” from youtube would be.
Would there be a way to do that?

My apologies, yes the code does delete the ABOUT US string, but it still seems to create a space for that string and it does look improportional. Maybe in a near future you could implement a bit better configuration option for ABOUT US-FOOTER TEXT?

Hi. Well i don’t think this is the best approach to solving this issue, because when I bought the theme, there was mobile theme included with it, so I assume it supposed to work properly with all footer templates.
This is how it looks with footer template Style 2 on mobile theme: https://ibb.co/e19fd5
There is only the logo, no popular categories and no popular articles. The text under the footer logo means ABOUT US. And it is the ABOUT US string from translations page.
1) This string does NOT appear on desktop version, so I assume this STyle 2 should not show this string in a mobile theme version either.
2) I switched to Style 1, and now I can see the same string on desktop as well, but no text – the text is added at FOOTER TEXT field.
I think this should be somehow merged together, or so, as there is no point of including the string ABOUT US if there is no text in FOOTER TEXT field. Just an idea.

Could you please provide a solution of removing this from mobile theme? Thanks!

Also I think I will open another topic about the problem with Cache and mobile phone theme, as it keeps changing to desktop version for some reason… I like consistency 🙂

Hi there. Thats the other issue – the theme keeps switching to desktop view. mobile theme is on, im using WP super cache with recommended settings… I clear cache, after some time it shows desktop again… I cleared it again.

Hello. http://www.tauta.lt. As You can see, there is only the logo, which is shown also on desktop version, and then “APIE MUS”, which is translated string of ABOUT US. Why is it there?
I am using Footer Template Style 2, this probably is the problem, as it is not completely compatible with Mobile Theme. Would you please look into it? Thanks
